Linda grew up in CT, but relocated often while her husband of 47 years served in the Navy. She is a retired educator, having received her BS in Elementary Education from Bowie State University and MS in Curriculum and Instruction from Western Maryland College, both in MD. In 2019 she became a certified wedding officiant in MD and D.C. Linda works with couples to find that fine balance between creativity, tradition, and individuality to plan a creative and personalized wedding ceremony. Her passion for writing and ability to connect with couples helps her create a ceremony like no other!

June of 2023 I officiated my first wedding and had so much fun, I decided to take this on and build a brand others and myself would love. Since then, I’ve officiated over 370 weddings and am still loving every minute of it.

Rev. Elle Sojourner is a Certified Life Cycle Celebrant™, Teacher, and Author. As the owner of Spirit Fire Life Ceremonies, she crafts rituals and ceremonies for regular folks with extraordinary souls. Although she is formally educated and trained, life, love, and experience have been her most profound masterclass. She helps others grow in love through weddings, funerals, and Soul Circles­™. Elle delights in life’s joys, including her son, turtle, and dog. And she keeps her cup full with nature, music, laughter, and dance.

Joanna is a writer, performer, and experienced officiant who marries couples of all backgrounds within 100 miles of Washington, DC. Raised in a multi-faith home and having lived abroad, she loves weaving cultural and religious traditions into ceremonies. (Don't worry, they're still mostly secular and feminist!) Joanna had an elopement, a formal wedding, and a separate reception—so she truly gets it! She’s ordained through AMM and ULC, trained in the Business of Officiating, and is a member of IAPWO. In off hours, she walks her rescue dog, Corrigan, reads or sings. She can’t wait to help you create a celebration that feels just right.

Jeremy’s process is intentionally thoughtful and collaborative. Each ceremony is custom-made through conversation, listening, and careful preparation, allowing couples to feel confident, calm, and fully present on their wedding day. Rather than relying on templates, Jeremy works closely with each couple to shape a ceremony that honors their story, their values, and the covenant they are entering together. Jeremy is licensed to officiate weddings in Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, DC, and serves a limited number of weddings each year to ensure each ceremony receives the time and care it deserves.

Sarah started an event/wedding planning business in 2024. Since then she has become a certified civil celebrant for the state of Virginia in 2025. Sarah made this decision because she wanted to be able to support couples in multiple ways during this process.
