Matt Sims Officiant is a wedding officiant based in Chantilly, Virginia, serving Northern Virginia. I have a master's in theology and am an ordained pastor. I have a lot of experience working with crowds from my over 15-year career as a public speaker and actor. I am a proud member of the Screen Actors Guild. I am available for ceremonies of varying lengths and styles. I would be delighted to lead your ceremony from start to finish or help you and your loved ones be involved. Consultations are important to come up with a ceremony that is meaningful and memorable. I will provide you with an order of service ahead of your big day.
I was born in England and moved to the USA 16 years ago, but I still have a strong British accent, which would make your ceremony a little more unique sounding! As a pastor, I specialize in Christian weddings and would love to work with you to make your day a special and God-honoring one for you and your new spouse and to be honoring to your family members. Matt Sims Officiant is licensed to officiate weddings in Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, and DC.

Matt was incredibly helpful and supportive throughout the entire wedding ceremony process. He guided us expertly, responding promptly to all our inquiries and providing script templates that significantly shaped the ceremony from start to finish. His flexibility regarding the inclusion of religious prayers was greatly appreciated, allowing us to choose as much or as little as we desired.
