Toured US, Europe, Canada, Mexico, PR - Earned 2 RIAA Certified Gold Records for work with Bush & Citizen Cope. - Notable clients include: Eva Mendes, Macy Gray, Beyonce, J Lo - Notable opening sets include: John Legend, Snoop Dogg, Kanye West - Now living in Hawaii on Oahu for the past 5 years. - Well versed in many genres & styles of music - LOVES DJing all kinds of events—Especially weddings!!!

I believe what sets me apart from other DJs is my versatility and knowing how to play the ‘right’ music at the right moment for the setting that I’m in. I started out as a DJ playing records in my dorm room and quickly went on to playing fraternity/sorority events and loft parties to holding residencies at notable bars & nightclubs in downtown NYC to touring the US Mainland with major label artists all the while being hired for weddings, private functions, corporate events and celebrity parties. I’ve played backyard parties for 20 people and the Sahara Tent at Coachella for nearly 20,000 and made people have a good time.

We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ for our wedding! From the very beginning, James was professional, responsive, and genuinely invested in making our day perfect. He took the time to understand our music preferences and the overall vibe we were going for. From our very first call, he was incredibly personable and we ended up talking for over an hour! By the end of that conversation, my husband and I knew without a doubt that James was the one we wanted as our wedding DJ. James has many years of experience as a NYC DJ and an impressive resume of events that he has been a part of....and it shows! On the big day, everything flowed seamlessly. We shared our music preferences with James but also gave him the freedom to read the crowd and do his thing and he absolutely delivered. The transitions between songs were smooth, and he did an amazing job keeping the energy up. We had guests of all ages, and somehow everyone ended up on the dance floor at some point! He also handled announcements with confidence and clarity, which kept everything organized without feeling forced or overly scripted. Our first dance and all the special moments were timed perfectly, and we really appreciated his attention to detail. We’ve had so many guests tell us how much fun they had and how great the music was and we completely agree. Even my dad (in his 60s!) is asking for the reception playlist because he loved it so much! If you’re looking for a DJ who is professional, talented, and truly cares about making your event unforgettable, we highly recommend James. Our Wedding DJ and EMCEE
DJ James Vincent was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. From the moment we first spoke, he was a polite, attentive and enthusiastic listener who took the time to understand the specific vibe and energy we wanted for our special day. Despite being brought on as a referral less than 6 weeks before our wedding, you could tell he has been doing this for awhile as his experiences showed. My now wife and I are relatively reserved people, and lot of our close friends and family are also shy and take time to warm up. So we weren't sure if having a DJ and EMCEE was the right move. However, after speaking with him, we knew this was the right choice. As I have mentioned, his experience in this industry really shines. In conversation you can tell he is a happy guy and loves what he does, he wants to bring that joy when conversing with him. We are not the most musical people, so we weren't sure what songs we wanted for our entrance, first dance and so on, but James made sure to guide us without adding in his preference. He made sure the songs were our choices and not his. So he gave us examples of how he and his wife picked their songs and also how other couples in the past did as well. Just trying to give us examples without overstepping. Which we really appreciated. His pricing was incredibly reasonable, and he came fully equipped with all the necessary gear, requiring only a simple table setup. On the day of, his energetic presence as both the EMCEE and DJ kept the music going and the drinks flowing. We truly could not have asked for a better partner to help make our wedding day so memorable. We highly recommend DJ James Vincent to any couple looking for someone who is easy to work with and understands that this day is about your friends, family and most importantly you, the couple.

What a blast!
I came across DJ James through my personal online research. His service charge was reasonable, and worth it! We spent half our wedding reception dancing, and quite honestly it was one of the most memorable moments of the night! He knows how to read the room well, and adapted the music seamlessly! I still get compliments how much fun the wedding reception was, and it already 3 months post! If I could describe him in 3 words, it would be flexible, professional, and mindful.

Awesome Wedding DJ!!!
The moment we booked DJ James Vincent, we knew we were in good hands. His communication was professional, timely, and energetic - he was so excited to be a part of our special day! We had multiple calls and texts before the wedding and an organized sheet to fill so he could lead the day without pause. On the wedding day, DJ James Vincent's organization and planning was evident and he kept the energy going all night long! He played all of our requested songs and did an amazing job as the MC, ensuring our wedding party and guests were engaged and having a blast. Our wedding truly wouldn't have been the same without DJ James Vincent. He's got the skills and passion for what he does. He even called 24 hours before to confirm all the details and pronunciations, going above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Everyone was dancing the ENTIRE night. We cannot recommend DJ James Vincent enough!

DJ James Vincent was absolutely wonderful to work with for our wedding! From the very first call, he was friendly, understanding, and incredibly helpful in understanding our music preferences and vision for the day. On the wedding day, his professionalism, lively energy, and genuine passion for his work really shone through.
