Seeing my sister’s happiness captured so perfectly made me emotional instantly. I remember the pride I felt standing beside her. The photos reflect that same emotion so honestly. Nothing feels artificial or staged. Every smile looks completely genuine. Watching it brought back the excitement and love. The atmosphere feels authentic and warm. It truly tells the story of that day beautifully. I found myself smiling nonstop. I will always cherish these memories.

We were married within 3 months of our first date. “When you know, you know”, they say, and when we knew we wed. Something we bonded over early on was our love for traveling with cameras. After our San Diego courthouse-by-the-sea elopement, we turned our passion for photography into a business. We are both full-time photographers, and we're constantly working to better our craft. We are lucky enough to document weddings of all kinds, from 3 person cliffside sunrise elopements to an intimate mountainside microweddings to larger all-day bashes at one of Maine's beautiful hotels.

Laurel and Brian captured our wedding ceremony in Acadia National Park perfectly and were wonderful to work with. They made sure to meet with us prior to our wedding day to pick a location for the ceremony and photos afterwards. They knew the area so well and were professional, kind and helpful during the entire process. We would 100% recommend Aquadro Photography!

Hi! I'm Kristin. I would be so honored for you to give me the opportunity to capture your love. Whether it's with the people you love, the person you want to marry, or the work you do that brings you joy. I embrace you for exactly who you are! Let's have some fun and capture it so you can show your love off in the way you want it to be seen.

Not only is Kristin an incredibly talented photographer, but she is an amazing soul to walk through your wedding day with. You don't think about it, but you are around the photographer a lot of the time! While you are getting ready, as the nerves creep up, as you drive up to the venue (or whatever version of those moments are for you). Of course she was professional and delivered gorgeous pictures at the end of it, but she was a calm presence. My husband and I both hate pictures of ourselves and loved the moments she captured, again - she put us at ease! She flittered away at points, and when I got the pictures back wondered where/when was this? How did she get this shot? Overall we told her to focus on the after party portion and I still look back at the pictures and remember that conversation and the reason we were all laughing. One other note - we had an outdoor wedding and she worked with ease and swiftness getting all the obligatory family shots as the sun was setting without a sweat! They all looked amazing too!

Each design is thoughtfully curated to create a cohesive, elevated look from ceremony to reception.

Awarded Best of Zola
We loved using Something Borrowed Blooms for our wedding flowers. We used them for my bridal bouquet, bridesmaid bouquets, and extra flower bunches to decorate around our venue, and everything turned out beautifully. I even purchased my bridal bouquet so I could display it forever, and it still looks just as stunning. Everyone kept commenting on how realistic and well put together the flowers looked, even more so than some real flower arrangements we’ve seen. It was such a relief not to have to worry about keeping anything in water or paying the high price of fresh florals. The flowers arrived at our venue a few days early, and the return process afterward was incredibly easy. I would recommend Something Borrowed Blooms to any bride who wants a beautiful, stress-free floral option!

Flower and oak were absolutely amazing. They showed up extremely early for our event and we had the highest premium package ordered for the day. We had a couple specific shoot ideas for THE GROOMSMEN and the minute I walked in the front door. I was greeted by both videographers With all kinds of cool camera gear and they told us exactly what to do and there was no time wasted. I highly recommend flower and oak to anyone looking at getting married soon. The one thing I don’t regret about our wedding day is using them because they were so great. Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers
Rating: 4.9 (78 reviews)
  • Florist
  • Starts at $350
  • Serves Prospect Harbor, ME

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Awarded Best of Zola
I used flower moxie to do my florals for my wedding. Overall, I had a great experience. I completed a consult that helped me select the correct florals for my event, quantities, and recipes for my creations. The flowers were delayed by 1 day in delivery, and the delphinium were not able to be used. After sending a picture to flower moxie, they provided a full refund for that flower. The videos were helpful for the prep and my wedding party helped me build arrangements. It was a fun event for everyone to do together. I would highly recommend the consult!

He had a true passion for his craft that shone through in every interaction. The quality of Alec's work was absolutely stunning - we got a wonderful variety of candids, formal shots, and editorial-style pictures that captured all the special moments of our day. Alec has an incredible eye for the right shots, and the final photos are absolutely gorgeous. Despite a complicated location schedule that I was worried about, Alec made the whole day seamless, traveling to over 4 different spots to ensure we got all the groupings and special shots we wanted. HiMotive Entertainment & Photobooth did a great job keeping our wedding reception fun and upbeat. While their communication was a bit delayed leading up to the event, they were ultimately effective in executing on the day-of. The DJ kept the party going all night with a good song selection, though they did play 3 Taylor Swift songs in a row at the start, which we would have preferred more variety. The MC's ad-libs got a little overbearing at times, but overall they did a nice job sticking to the schedule and making important announcements. We'd recommend HiMotive to other couples looking for an energetic DJ.

I present fun, elegant, and exciting Wedding Photography for my clients. My style is photojournalistic; I feel it's the most effective way to tell a story. After all, there is so much happening on a wedding day. Between the ceremony, dancing, and endless extravaganzas, the most memorable moments will naturally occur.  My goal is to capture the emotions and memories of your day through my lens. These recollections are your forever keepsakes, a chapter of your life's story. Every image accounts for those who were by your side, delighted for you, and the next step in your journey. I appreciate you for giving me a few moments of your time.t

Awarded Best of Zola
My husband and I were from out of town and hired Sean to photograph us at a Christmas gala at the place we got married. He was accommodating to last minute changes to make the most of the session and even went above and beyond to make it happen. Upon first impression, he was upbeat and had a vision. We were outside in sub 30 degree weather with fading evening light as well as low light inside a building and he was up for the challenge. We ended up with beautiful images in less than ideal conditions and that is what makes a great photographer. Sean has a sense of humor and an eye for that perfect photograph. He was fun to work with and his heart for people and creativity shows through. Thank you Sean for capturing this time in our lives.

Nostalgia drove me into photography at an early age - and lead me into my studies of photojournalism. We all innately know when we're at a critical juncture in our lives. For me, being able to authentically capture, to preserve those moments in a photograph is such a privilege. I know how much it means to me to be able to look back and say 'this is how things actually happened.' There is beauty in those truths. The kind of folks I work with share that appreciation.

Awarded Best of Zola
When I was looking for photographers for the wedding it was important to me that I found a "documentary" style photographer - and someone who's work actually reflected this more than just using it as a buzzword to describe their services ; not because it is trendy, but because I HATE PHOTOS. I have never liked photos of myself, and I am not comfortable in front of the camera. I have also been in plenty of weddings where the couple misses out on half of the night because they are spending so much time posing for photos. I expressed all of this to Corey at our initial meeting and he assured me that outside of a few quick formal photoshoots (first look, golden hour, & family photos) we wouldn't even know he was there - and he followed through with that promise. Corey's work was beautiful - I got exactly what I wanted and you can see the love in everyone in our photos. The only thing I would change if I could go back in time would be to request a longer time window, or a second shooter because there were a few moments and people that I wish we had captured, but we were too busy living in the moment.

Lacie and Tim are just the most amazing photographers (and people). They met up with us in Montana to shoot our elopement photos ahead of our shooting our wedding reception in Indiana. They are both so friendly and fun and Lacie has such great instincts. She and Tim surveyed glacier national park for great photo ops the day before we met. When we met some cloud cover in the park Lacie made a great call to pivot and get some amazing sunset photos on the lake which were stunning. While we drove around the park it felt like we hanging out with our good friends which made it all the more fun and the photos more authentic. Both Lacie and Tim were so helpful and kind, and our photos both in Montana and Indiana are everything I’ve ever wanted! Would hire/will hire them again and again!

We didn't know him before and didn't end up doing an engagement shoot (so I was a little nervous) but he absolutely nailed it. His photos are stunning (I've gotten a TON of compliments on them), he is extremely communicative, and he had a bunch of photos ready to go by the end of the wedding. Both me and my husband aren't great at posing for photos and he knew exactly how to place us without it feeling faked. Super easy to work with and just a really nice guy. Hi! I’m Justin (he/him) and I’m here to affirm your love, make you feel like a fucking rockstar, and dance like a total fool. Oh, and take so many gorgeous photos of y’all. Obvs. My style blends both documentary photojournalism and fine art photography: coaching folks who are shy in front of the camera, then stepping back to capture authentic moments uninterrupted. I’ve been lucky enough to have my work published by A Practical Wedding, The New York Times, GLAMOUR, People Magazine and many other fabulous outlets. I'm a stereotypical Capricorn that loves drag shows, campy horror films, every dog I meet, and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups.

Don’t think you’re photogenic? Worried that folks in your family, wedding party, etc. aren’t photogenic? Justin will MAKE them photogenic. The man is a wizard with the camera, able to capture moments and poses you never imagined possible. The photographer for our wedding was the one thing we knew we would need to splurge on to make sure we felt comfortable and happy on our wedding day. Justin spent so much time working with us on exactly what we wanted while at the same time, truly getting to know us and my god, does it show. Justin was able to capture the true essence of ourselves in our wedding photos, to the point where we started tearing up just looking at them. We cannot recommend this BEAUTIFUL human enough. They are truly the greatest
