    • Starts at $150 per person

Dish Food & Events is an award-winning, full-service catering and events company serving all of New York City and The Hamptons for over 15 years. Recognized for our warm hospitality and delicious food, Dish creates remarkable weddings, social gatherings, and corporate events. What truly differentiates Dish is our diverse team. We are committed to creating an awesome place to work while taking great care of each other, our partners and our guests.

Working with Evalyn, Cortney, and the team at Dish was a truly incomparable experience! I had the pleasure of getting to know Dish a few years back at my first job and had told my contact at the time, Bonnie, that I would definitely be back when it was time for me to host my big event - my wedding. After reconnecting with the Dish team, in particular speaking with Evalyn, we couldn't have felt more confident that it was the right fit for our big day. From the personalized menu, to the in house tasting, and the amazing day of coordinator, Cortney, the most important and expensive party we ever threw (and likely ever will) was in the best hands. When any changes or adjustments came up the team was eager to help make our vision come to life. A few weeks before when I wanted to do another itinerary run through, Cortney, was not just game, but so enthusiastic and supportive. As small things came up day of, Evalyn and Cortney were on it and as we were packing up, the whole Dish team helped us pack up and carry out our numerous flower arrangements. We truly couldn't have pulled this off without Dish and are so grateful for their partnership. Thank you, Dish!

I had the chance to work with Renee at one of my client's engagement party where she managed the bar and food service for a big swanky summer barbeque. The setup was smooth, her team was incredibly competent, and the bar was a major hit with the guests. While the food for this particular event was casual picnic fare, everything was served efficiently and on time. I've also had the pleasure of trying Renee's hors d'oeuvres at other events, and they were absolutely delicious - she's clearly a talented chef with a great sense for elevated flavors. Her professionalism and ability to manager large crowd really stood out.

    Elm Roastery
    Rating: 5.0 (2 reviews)
    • Serves Long Island City, NY

We are a Queens-based community roastery that brings craft hot and iced drinks to the greater NYC area. Started with a mission to build community at our brick and mortar in Elmhurst, we expanded to do mobile so that we can be a part of building community through the connection of coffee throughout New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.

We loved having Elm Roastery at our wedding! My husband and I have a long history of fond memories and treasured conversations shared over a coffee, and we are so joyful that Elm was able to bring this to life and help us share this tradition with our loved ones. A highlight I want to note in my review is how professional and kind their barista was. The coffee enthusiasts of our bunch had so much fun asking questions and learning about their workflow and craft coffee process. Our friends and family also really enjoyed trying drinks that they may not have tried otherwise, and had only great things to say about them! Plus, coffeecake3. We also found their offerings to be at a great value. Their communication, attention to detail, and rates make it clear that their heart and passion is in the coffee and connection. They made a custom menu for us and, in addition to standard offerings, had decaf, alternative milks, flavor syrups, chai, teas, and hot cocoa available. There was absolutely something for everyone! The Elm Roastery coffee cart would be a lovely addition to any gathering, but for us personally, it was also a great way to offer something fun and new drink-wise after a late lunch as we did not have alcohol at our celebration. If you are also looking at throwing a sober wedding (or any other kind of wedding), I would highly recommend and consider having the Elm coffee cart! Elm Roastery is a Queens gem and they added such warmth and joy to our day. You should 100% message Peter. Like right now. P.S. you can preview their coffee at their cafe in Elmhurst so you don't have to just take my word for it!

    Jillicious Foods & Events

    • Serves Long Island City, NY

Jillicious Foods is an all-in-one catering and event company dedicated to creating inspired, authentic wedding, social and corporate experiences. For us, every client represents a unique opportunity to tell a new and delicious story. Chef Jill has been telling these stories for nearly three decades. We work in a variety of cuisines, from New American to Cajun to Southeast Asian; accommodate all diets, including gluten-free, vegan, vegetarian, and pescatarian; and are proud to partner with local farms and purveyors throughout the Hudson Valley and New York City.

Jill truly is THAT girl! From her keen eye for detail to incredible patience and personalization, from the start we knew our experience was going to be top notch. Jill worked with us to create a menu that spoke to all of our childhood favorites and tastes from home that had all of our guests watering at at the mouth, and some even bonding over what some of the dishes meant to us and our families. As a Miami native and Italian American (respectively), we wanted the food to touch on our love of Latin and Italian food, which Jill touched on perfectly (especially with the meatballs and empanadas!). From day 1, Jill was truly Team Shelby and Jordan, and for that we could not be more grateful.

    MR HOSPITALITY
    Rating: 5.0 (9 reviews)
    • Serves Long Island City, NY

Our team has the expertise and resources to make your wedding day a true reflection of you. Besides food & beverage services, we specialize in the following: venue scouting, planning + production (partial or day of coordination), event staffing, speciality rentals + A/V, and entertainment scouting.

We couldn’t have been happier choosing Mr. Hospitality for our wedding planning, coordination, and design services. From the beginning, Mario and his team stood out with their blend of professionalism and personal touch, making us feel truly supported. Their attention to detail, clear communication, and flawless execution exceeded all our expectations. When we started looking for a coordinator, we spoke with eight companies. Our priorities were simple: someone affordable, organized, and easy to communicate with. With demanding jobs and limited time, we needed a team to handle the details, allowing us to focus on our big day. While other companies were professional, Mr. Hospitality was the only one that checked all the boxes and added a personal touch that set them apart. From the start, Mario’s genuine enthusiasm made us feel at ease. It was like catching up with an old friend who was excited about our lives—our two cats, how we met nine years ago, and even our plan to walk down the aisle together. He remembered these details in every follow-up, showing a level of care that made us feel truly special. As planning progressed, Selina joined the team with her organizational skills, vision, and positive energy. She brought detailed floor plans, timelines, and vendor coordination materials, even taking the time to review our Pinterest boards to understand our design preferences. Kiara, our day-of coordinator, joined closer to the event, bringing a calming presence while keeping everything on track. On our wedding day, their expertise was evident. Kiara met us at the getting-ready location, tissues ready for our first look, and drinks and hors d'oeuvres in our suite after the ceremony. She knew when to step in and when to stay in the background. Selina transformed our venue, blending last-minute Amazon decorations with stunning rental pieces like the ceremony arch and lighting features. She worked seamlessly with their trusted vendor partners, ensuring everything came together beautifully. They didn’t just arrange flowers—they elevated our vision with high-quality elements and professional touches that made the space feel cohesive and uniquely ours. A standout moment was during family photos when emotions were high. Instead of feeling overwhelmed, we could simply say, “Kiara has the list,” and trust her to guide us. Later, when we needed lights dimmed for the dance floor, they handled it without a hitch. Even when the cake was delivered to the wrong location, they ensured it arrived perfectly. After the event, their thoughtfulness continued. When they picked up our items a few days later, we found a handwritten card with personal moments they cherished from working with us, along with a Polaroid from our first dance, humorously labeled as the “paw-rents” of our cats. A few weeks later, Selina recognized one of us at a company holiday event and came out to say hello, making it feel like reconnecting with an old friend. This is just one more example of the care and thoughtfulness they bring to their work. If you’re looking for a team that combines expertise with heart, Mr. Hospitality is the one. They not only made our wedding day unforgettable but also made the entire planning process a joy.

The Fork Goes on the Left
    Rating: 5.0 (9 reviews)
    • Serves Long Island City, NY

Mellanee is a passionate culinary professional dedicated to creating unique dining experiences that cater to individual tastes and preferences. With a strong belief in the importance of healthful food preparation, Mellanee focuses on crafting dishes that are not only delicious but also visually appealing. Driven by a sense of purpose, Mellanee takes pride in her ability to nourish others through her cooking. She values the opportunity to collaborate with clients, ensuring that each dining experience reflects their vision and desires.

Chef Mellanee and The Fork Goes on the Left absolutely blew us (and our guests) away. We wanted an elevated take on African and Caribbean comfort foods, and she delivered beyond expectations. The crab cakes during cocktail hour were a hit (people are still talking about them!), and our sweetheart meal — a rich shellfish stew — was unforgettable. I genuinely wish I could have that meal again. What really stood out was Chef Melanie’s professionalism and care. From our private tasting( photos attached ) to day-of service, everything was seamless. Her communication was clear, her staff was friendly and attentive, and she worked so collaboratively with us — even down to helping with mixers for our bar setup. I have multiple food allergies, and her team went above and beyond to accommodate them safely without compromising on taste or presentation. And as a final touch, she surprised us with a thoughtful card and gift — such a sweet gesture that perfectly captured the warmth she brings to her work. If you’re looking for a caterer who delivers both flavor and heart, The Fork Goes on the Left is it.

    Purslane
    Rating: 4.5 (8 reviews)
    • Serves Long Island City, NY

Purslane is part of The Oberon Group, a Brooklyn neighborhood-focused restaurant group with a commitment to sustainability. We started Purslane in 2012 as a way to serve our community outside of our restaurants. Sustainability wasn’t part of our origin story, but we realized we had an opportunity to make a difference in one of the most wasteful industries out there. We are seasoned experts in executing corporate events of all sizes, ranging from galas and banquets, to private dinners, to multi-day conferences for hundreds of guests, to weekly lunch drop-offs for your whole office.

    Awarded Best of Zola
As a planner, I work with so many caterers, and Purslane stands out among them all. The food completely surpasses any "wedding food" I have ever had, and they are one of the rare caterers that excels equally at sweet and savory preparations. I'm still dreaming about the sea bass, the hanger steak, the butternut squash gnocchi, and the almond cookies. And so much of their stuff happens to be gluten-free (but still amazing)! The Purslane team are warm, kind, and prompt, always willing to share advice and knowledge about every part of planning a wedding (which is essential when working at a unique wedding like the Prospect Park Boathouse). Their commitment to being carbon-neutral and kind to the planet means a lot to me as a vendor in an often-wasteful industry. The meal, including the appetizer spread, was lush and abundant, but there was much less food waste than I normally witness. Hire Purslane if you want a partner in planning as well as an amazing caterer.

    La Mila Catering & Events
    Rating: 5.0 (6 reviews)
    • Starts at $75
    • Serves Long Island City, NY

Starting their careers in the restaurant and food industry, Elie & Heidi Hanna decided to utilize their unique experiences and create their own vision of a full service event company. La Mila is named after their daughter, Milana, who provides them with limitless inspiration and motivation.

    Awarded Best of Zola
As a classically trained chef, I hope my review of La Mila inspires anyone doing their “homework” to earn an A — for themselves, especially their guests. I’ve been to many weddings, and the food served is often an edible afterthought. How many times, when leaving a wedding, were you asked, “What did you think about the food?” — and you replied with shrugged shoulders, “Eh, it was okay.” That is not the case with La Mila. A huge shoutout and thank you to Sandy, who was able to pull together a phenomenal menu all in a very timely timeline. Sandy was honest, upfront, and available around our busy work schedule. The day before and the day of, Sandy was there to help with setup — from the big asks, like helping move furniture, to the small tasks—like lighting lanterns and ensuring no glass of champagne for our toast was served empty! Given our wedding took place at our home, we thoroughly appreciated Sandy staying late to clean the kitchen, empty overflowing garbage, and make sure our home was not a war zone when we woke up the next morning! Elie’s execution of our menu was stellar. As a classically trained chef, I was thoroughly impressed by the well-run machine Elie could create within our garage, the makeshift kitchen for the event. It rained on our wedding day, and we were blessed with a beautiful, vivid rainbow—right before dinner service. This blessing brought all our guests outside for 30 minutes—right before dinner. A major wrench in the moment-by-moment timeline. I know how this, for many chefs, can be a disruptive, unexpected delay—but Elie did not miss a beat. All of our guests raved about the food—notably friends who I graduated with from the Culinary Institute of America. One thing I learned in culinary school is that you “eat with your eyes first.” Simply put, Heidi’s presentation skills are on point! Her attention to detail in creating beautiful food displays, notably for our cocktail hour, showed the care, thought and love we wanted our guests to feel. Sandy, Elie, and Heidi may be the stars of La Mila’s show—but the success of our wedding would not have been possible without their hard-working and friendly staff. One of the elements that sold us on choosing La Mila, was their well-stocked arsenal of kitchen equipment they brought on site. (Most caterers require you rent equipment separately, which is not only more expensive, but introduces a whole new dimension of moving parts.) La Mila was also able to include chinaware, silverware, and the majority of our glassware! They even included soft drinks, water, condiments, cocktail napkins, etc. — all of this, and they still came in under what we were quoted by other caterers. Thank you, Sandy, Elie, Heidi, and the entire La Mila Catering & Events team, for making our wedding day what it was. Your talent, professionalism, and experience were felt by everyone who took part in our special day.

    • Serves Long Island City, NY

Constellation is the caterer for numerous venues throughout the Philadelphia area, with unique locations from raw industrial spaces and lively concert halls to historic houses and iconic museums, and also offers in-home and office catering. Our dedicated team forms strong connections both inside our organization and with our clients, and these connections define us. Together, we bring restaurant-quality outside of restaurants, serving everything from intimate weddings to non-profit galas. We’ve built a culinary group that does what restaurants always have: get people talking—and daydreaming—about food, long after their last bite.

When we signed on with Constellation to cater our wedding, we had high expectations based on their stellar reputation alone, and they far exceeded our expectations on every level. During the year-long planning process, Brittany and her team were wonderful to work with; they were responsive from start to finish and very accomodating of our requests to ensure everything matched our vision from rentals to service to food. We had a backyard wedding so food service was anything but standard. They were flexible and nimble enough to service out of a barn (!) and a garage and somehow pulled it all off without a hitch. And, of course, the food was incredible. The cocktail hour spread with passed hors d'oeuvres and stations was a showstopper and I'm still dreaming about (and trying to emulate) our beautiful dual entree. Thank you to Brittany and the entire Constellation team for helping to make our wedding day perfect!

As a wedding planner many times I am managing vendors not only to confirm service but to prevent jeopardizing my clients event. Most of the time this can be frustrating especially when things are forgotten, coupled with many last minute changes, but not with Krisp Events. With Nora and Krisp Events I can close my eyes. Marlow Events
    Rating: 5.0 (4 reviews)
    • Starts at $16
    • Serves Long Island City, NY

Marlow Events offers full service catering from the Marlow Collective, a group of New York hospitality brands including the restaurants Borgo, Diner, Marlow & Sons, Roman’s, Achilles Heel, as well as Marlow & Daughters, She Wolf Bakery, and Stranger Wines.

My husband and I are food people, and from the start, we knew we wanted our wedding to feel like hosting a large, intimate dinner party rather than a traditional catered event. Everyone says wedding food is never great—we took that as a challenge. Marlow Events ultimately delivered a meal our guests are still talking about (especially the carrots, and the She Wolf bread, which reached near-legendary status). When we began our venue search, food was our starting point. Through some Instagram sleuthing, we discovered that Marlow Events catered at Shell’s Loft—and given how much we adore their restaurants (Marlow & Daughters, Borgo, Roman’s), it felt like a natural fit. Once we confirmed they were fully integrated with the venue, it felt like a no-brainer. Our initial tasting was exciting and reassuring, and we felt confident moving forward based on the quality of the food and hospitality. We had a very specific vision and requested a few nuanced elements—specialty cheeses, particular preparations, and thoughtful details. Some of these were beautifully executed, others evolved differently than expected, but overall it was a collaborative process. On the wedding day itself, the food was excellent. Guests raved about the meal, the pacing was thoughtful, and the experience aligned with exactly what we hoped to create—warm, generous, and centered around great food. That’s what we’ll remember most. That said, future couples should be aware that Marlow Events operates under a unique contract structure, and fees can be higher than typical industry standards. While we had a wonderful experience working with our original contact, the later planning stages introduced some challenges—particularly around fee clarity and flexibility—which required more back-and-forth than anticipated. These conversations were not always handled with the same level of grace we experienced earlier in the process, and navigating them took patience. In the end, the meal and experience were truly special, and we’re grateful for the food we shared with our friends and family. If food is central to your wedding vision and you’re excited by a restaurant-driven approach, Marlow Events can deliver something memorable—just be sure to review the contract carefully and allow extra time for alignment in the final planning stretch
