Renegade Outpost
Renegade Outpost is a full service event planning and chef services company. We've been in business for 12 years and have been working with Thumbtack/Zola. We have been hired more than 400 times and have 250 5-star reviews. We offer logistical services as well as day/of coordination and securing rentals. Our "rolodex" includes many of the best vendors for all your event needs. Making your job easier is our highest priority. Wonderful food always begins with amazing ingredients, especially produce. We source directly from local farmers, we work with an organic butcher, a wild fish monger and importers of select cheese and specialty products.
Food is the heart of every catered event. We work with you and curate the menu based on seasonal delicious produce, expert preparation and beautiful presentation. The produce inspires us and we often build a dish around the vegetables. From plated dinners to high end cocktail events... from chef-manned stations to grazing tables... from fundraisers and galas to weddings and themed events, we have the professional staff to ensure your event runs smoothly. Renegade Outpost
I hired Ellen and her crew for an office party. I had to do all the planning remotely due to not living in the state where the party was taking place. Ellen was easy to work with, she was efficient, a great coordinator, very knowledgable about all the details needed to throw a great party, decorations, tasty food and having sufficient food and drinks. I would highly recommend her services to others looking for a caterer that will help you step by step in ensuring your party is a hit.

Amazing Experience! September Wedding Reception
Chef Ellen is truly one of a kind! We couldn’t be happier with our choice to use Renegade Outpost at our wedding this past September! Chef Ellen is amazing and truly cares about the entire event going well, not just the food. We thought we were throwing a curveball with our unique cocktail-style reception… 4 hours of continuous passed apps, grazing tables, and more. But Chef Ellen made it all look easy. She came to walkthroughs at our venue and helped us create the perfect custom menu for our day. She also had so many ideas to help us make the most of the space, ensure a good flow of the party, and more. Ellen’s prices are very fair and she will work within your budget. The passed apps were unreal (our guests are still raving about them) and the grazing table was absolutely gorgeous and constantly stocked. The whole team, from the cooks to the servers, was amazing: fast, friendly, and organized. If you’re looking for a caterer who can create a unique and delicious menu while bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience (Michelin-star experience, to boot!), we highly recommend Renegade Outpost. Chef Ellen helped make our day unforgettable!
