I’m Ashley, a Tampa based wedding photographer who has spent the last decade documenting weddings with a thoughtful, story driven approach. My style blends editorial composition with a documentary perspective, capturing both timeless portraits and the natural moments that unfold throughout the day. I’m known for creating a relaxed experience so couples feel comfortable, confident, and fully present. I photograph weddings throughout Florida and travel nationwide for celebrations of all sizes, working closely with couples and planners to document the day in a way that feels effortless and true to the moment.

My couples often tell me they feel awkward in front of the camera, and one of my favorite parts of the job is helping them realize they don’t need to be. I guide my couples in a relaxed, supportive way so they feel comfortable, confident, and completely themselves. 5 Years Later & Still Obsessed
I’m about to celebrate 5 years of marriage, and choosing Ashley Izquierdo was one of the best decisions I made during my wedding planning process. I found Ashley after going down a deep Pinterest rabbit hole (you know the kind where you say you’re just browsing and suddenly it’s been hours), and the moment I saw her work, I knew she was the one. Booked. Done. She’s based in Florida but traveled to New York with no additional cost, which already set her apart. But what truly made Ashley amazing was who she was on the wedding day. She was calm, professional, organized, and somehow knew exactly when to step in and when to let moments happen naturally. She didn’t just take pictures—she was hands-on, attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure everything looked and felt right. From fixing my dress to keeping things flowing, she made the entire experience feel effortless. And let’s talk about communication and delivery—because that matters. We received sneak peek photos almost immediately (which I definitely needed because I was still on a wedding high), and our full gallery was delivered within a very reasonable timeframe. No chasing, no wondering, no stress. What I appreciate most, even 5 years later, is how she captured everything—not just the beautiful, posed moments, but the real ones. The emotion. The joy. The in-between moments that made the day unforgettable. And yes… she made us look GOOD. Like everybody was in their best, most confident, “this is my moment” energy without even trying. Even my husband was impressed with how personable she was and how comfortable she made everyone feel—and he does not impress easily. Five years later, I still look at my photos and feel everything all over again. If you’re thinking about booking Ashley Izquierdo, don’t hesitate. She’s not just talented—she’s truly amazing at what she does.

Ashley is a 10/10
Ashley and I really hit it off starting at the engagement session. She came into the session with a game plan and everything was awesome! Wedding day was no different! Ashley and Kayla were INCREDIBLE! My husband and I had a few things we really cared about: trying to get as many pictures done during first look as possible so we could enjoy cocktail hour with friends and family, I really wanted the cool crossing the street shot, and a cool shot in my husband's grandpa's car and Ashley and Kayla delivered with all of the above!! They both made me feel so comfortable and were assertive with who we needed when and where (which is important with our families). They captured so many incredible and hilarious moments. I haven't stopped looking at our pictures since I got them, which by the way took less than a month!! Amazing!!! 10/10 would recommend! I am beyond happy with booking Ashley3

Everything you could ask for in a photographer
Ashley is everything you could ask for in a photographer and more! I originally hired Ashley to take some branding photos for me, but little did I know that my now husband had planned to propose during my branding session & was in communication with Ashley about it. She never let on that a surprise was coming and when he proposed, she captured the moment so perfectly. We get SO many compliments on these photos and I couldn't be happier that she was there for that moment. It was my first time having real professional photos taken and she made me made me feel so comfortable in front of the camera. She was so fun and down to earth and just easy!! She is always one of my top go-to's when I recommend photographers to my friends, family & clients. I can't say enough about her. :)

Book her. Seriously. You won’t regret it.
I was looking for a photographer for our small, casual NYC wedding and stumbled across Ashley while researching our venue. Her beautiful, bright, airy photos immediately stuck out to us and were exactly what we wanted. From the moment we reached out to her she was nothing but kind, helpful, and reassuring. She replied to emails quickly, and even called me to help me walk through the timeline of the day when I was feeling overwhelmed by planning! The day of the wedding was our first time actually meeting Ashley in person, but it didn't feel that way at all. Ashley has such a chill, funny, calming presence that definitely made me feel at ease even when I was internally freaking out over everything, lol. She was so patient with our families, had creative ideas for photos and constantly asked us our opinions and if we wanted more photos. She even sent me a few sneak peaks an HOUR after the wedding ended! We've since received all of our photos and they are absolutely beautiful. Planning a wedding is stressful but thankfully photography was the one thing we NEVER worried about thanks to Ashley. We're hoping to be able to work with her again some day in the future!

Fun, talented, easy to work with - say less!
Choosing wedding vendors is a TASK, but Ashley made picking her as my photographer a no brainer. I reached out initially because I loved her photography style and she had shot at my venue before. She was super responsive and the consultation phone call was like speaking to an old friend, someone who was relaxed, down to earth, and straight up with costs/her process. Her pricing is very competitive and honestly a steal. We got a "free" engagement shoot as part of our photography package and it was the first time meeting Ashley in person. We had a blast shooting all over downtown Tampa and she made us feel like #models. Not to mention, we had to reschedule multiple times due to weather/illness and she was incredibly flexible/kind about it. She answered all my emails/texts within 24 hours max. On our wedding day, Ashley and Kayla made it feel like we were having two of our closest friends shoot our special day. They were prompt and got right down to business. I'm not the most natural in front of a lens but Ashley gave posing suggestions while also letting us do our own thing. The whole day was relaxed and stress-free and Ashley/Kayla played a huge part in that! Ashley was constantly asking if I wanted any more pics and would do a little happy dance at really good shots. Not to mention she brought her film camera to shoot on too! We received a sneak peak album in 48 hours which contained A LOT of pics and our full album in 3 weeks. INSANE turn around time!! The full album was around/over 1500 pics and Ashley/Kayla truly captured every moment of our wedding so perfectly. I cannot recommend Ashley enough!
