I am a luxury destination photographer based in MICHIGAN, COLORADO & FLORIDA! I am ALL over Michigan and all over the nation! I have a home in Lansing, Holland & Traverse City. I travel all over Michigan capturing my clients from Lansing to Grand Rapids to the west coast of Lake Michigan to Mackinac Island & Traverse City to all metro Detroit! I have a second home in Vail/Summit County, CO as well as Clearwater Beach/Tampa. This allows me to be local to multiple places and states! This career is so much more than just showing up and taking photos. It's emotion, it's detail, it's getting to know my clients and capturing each of them uniquely.
As much as I wish I could be everyone's dream photographer that is not reality so I like to make sure we're a fit. Your photographer is going to be with you your entire day. Because of that I want to make sure you’re with the right one. You're not just 'another booking to me' & I strive to create genuine connections with each & every client. PERFECTION!
I don't even know where to begin - Dani is simply amazing and if it were possible to give her a 10 star rating, I would. She not only captured my husband and I's intimate mountain top elopement, but her and Jed also followed us through out the rest of the day and photographed our reception that we held with family and friends. We are usually pretty awkward in front of the camera, but they made us feel so comfortable (even at 5am in the morning lol) and our photos prove it. Dani puts so much work into finding the perfect elopement locations and the most flattering lighting. My husband and I are BEYOND ecstatic with how our photos turned out - she captured who we truly are and how much love we have for each other. I can never thank them enough for how much work they put into our elopement and reception day. We are so happy to have these memories forever.

Proof That the Right Photographer Is Everything
Wow… I don’t even know where to start, but the stars literally aligned with Dani (and Jed) from Elle & Co Photography. I found Dani while scrolling bridal Facebook groups, which can be… a lot. Trying not to assume the worst from all the horror stories. I came across her and immediately knew she was it. I sent the message and crossed my fingers. Her photos were exactly the vibe we were going for. We chose to elope near Sleeping Bear Dunes for a reason… the color of the water, the fall tones, all of it. And Mother Nature gave us the most imperfectly perfect day. Wind, sand, rain… you name it. THANKFULLY we had Dani to capture it all. The amount of time, energy, and care she put into our day (and our reception back in Indy... we booked her for both) was beyond anything we expected. Her communication was top notch. She scouted, scouted, and then scouted again. Plans, backup plans, backup backup plans… which we absolutely needed. Most importantly she kept us on. time! We literally showed up to our ceremony spot and got hit with a “nope, not today” thanks to a government shutdown… even though we had permits and confirmations. But Dani already had her little hidden gem location ready to go, and it ended up being incredible. Like… better than what we had originally planned. And let’s talk about the conditions… late October on Lake Michigan, 25 mph winds, sand flying everywhere, and easily 10,000 steps trekking through dunes to chase the best views. Dani was everywhere at once making sure we got every shot. And Jed… running through sand like he trained for this moment. The two of them together are the dream team. Whatever it takes, they make it happen. They didn’t miss a single moment. From travel time to the ceremony, to the little in-between shots… even getting the perfect fall leaves shot with the Sleeping Bear Dunes sign (yes, it took a plenty of tries and yes, it was worth it). Champagne, lanterns, sparklers back at the domes… they captured all of it. And gave us just enough direction so we looked our best without ever feeling staged. And even after all of that, Dani went back and edited like crazy to balance out the fact that while we "looked fine"… we were most definitely freezing. The final photos are unreal. Our day was made by friends, family, and chosen family… and we’re so happy to add Dani and Jed to that circle. #PhotosToFriends for life!

Dani shot our engagement session in Indiana (where we live) and our elopement in Colorado. We vetted SO.MANY photographers and the long search ended up with Elle & Co Photography and we are elated with our choice! Dani's professionalism is top-notch and she's also so fun to be around. She has a talent with her profession but her passion puts her over the edge. Dani's knowledge for locations helped us nail down the perfect elopement spot. She also nailed down our vision for our engagement session location; she is well versed in locations all around and we were thankful for all the help in planning that. The day of our elopement had unpredictable weather and I didn't want to get wet and be rained on. Dani was able to execute a plan for us to elope later in the day without any stress or hassle. She had new timeline and plans over to us immediately so we could have the perfect outside elopement and the day turned out amazing! Jed (her PHENOMENAL second hand man) brought & put up a pop up changing tent for us so I didn't have to hike in my dress the whole time. Our elopement was everything we wanted and more thanks to Dani & Jed & Elle & Co Photographer. Thank you forever!

Elopement & Boudoir photos, amazing experience!
From first contact to wedding day, I am so happy to have chosen Elle and Co. and specifically Dani. I couldn't be happier with communication, energy, and direction while taking photos. Our Colorado elopement was beautiful and Dani helped with every step including finding a wonderful spot. She kept us updated on weather and timeline so we had nothing to worry about and even hyped us up beforehand. During my boudoir shoot she made extra effort to make me comfortable since I've never done anything like that before. The pictures were so good and made the perfect wedding day gift for my new hubby. Highly recommend Elle and Co. to anyone who has photography needs but especially if you think you might want to elope to a gorgeous spot and do a private event or if you want to take some boudoir type photos for a special gift.
