I'm an artist who loves cake. I graduated from the USC Roski School of Fine Art with a BA in Fine Art and Italian. In 2008 I began my official culinary journey, working for some of the top cake companies in the US before opening my own San Diego wedding cake studio in 2020.

All our wedding cakes are unique and made to your exact specifications. Because we prepare all our cakes with fresh and locally outsourced ingredients, Violet Cake Co. cakes are always moist, flavorful and delicious. We have many cake flavors which can be iced with fondant or our delicious Swiss buttercream.

A "Cutting" Cake for newlyweds. 6" round serves 12. Semi-naked or horizontal stripe. Choose from 16 delicious flavors. Swirled cupcakes with sprinkles- add $35 per dozen. Tasting box pickups are Sat mornings by appt. Fee is $40. Need more tiers? 8" - $216, 10" - $324, 12" - $405. Please see our website for more details.

Create up to 5 unforgettable tiers with edible flowers, wafer paper, fondant icing, palette painted designs, metallics, natural elements, stencils, fruit topping and patterns. Fine touches will make your cake truly magical. A personal wedding cake that will reflect your lives, your dreams and your futures. Beautiful cake and delicious flavors!
We enjoyed our experience with Violet Cake Co! Maria was very responsive to our questions via email. It was easy to set up a pick-up delivery date at Malissa's home bakery. We ended up choosing the maracuja flavor for our 2-tier wedding cake, plus limoncello for cupcakes. Both flavors are delicious, but that maracuja flavor is 10/10 AMAZING, I still dream about eating it to this day. For the design, we sent a few inspo pictures and the cake turned out exactly how we wanted it. It was so cute and perfect. Thank you Violet Cake Co.!

Great dessert vendor!
I was so glad I found Violet Cake Co for our wedding desserts! I really wanted those “coquette” cakes, turns out they are also called “lambeth” cakes and they’re so beautiful and elegant. I was so happy that they were also able to provide a variety of desserts (cupcakes, brownies, tarts, cream puffs) because I really wanted variety. The flavors of cake are delicious and unique and the prices are very fair! I’d definitely recommend them.
