My husband and I just got married at Laurel Ridge last weekend and I could not possibly do their team justice in one review, but I will try my best. Holly and Ariel were absolutely wonderful to work with from our first walkthrough. They are kind, communicative, and incredibly helpful. Every part of the wedding planning process was so easy with this team. The food was absolutely incredible, bar staff and servers were incredibly kind, and Holly and Ariel worked with our vendors to ensure that our day was perfect - and it truly was. If you are looking for a venue that will take your breath away, do yourself a favor and set up a walkthrough here. The views are beautiful and each reception space is ideal. We had our ceremony at the arbor and our reception at the pavilion, but if we had to move inside for the rain, I would have still been thrilled. So many of our guests had stated that they looked at pictures of the venue before attending and were still awestruck when they stepped onto the property. We could not possibly be more grateful for Laurel Ridge Country Club and its team for giving us the most wonderful wedding day.

We had our Welcome Dinner here the night before our wedding, since all of us were from out of town. Perfect location, right next to a coffee shop. While we were decorating, we were able to get some coffee. Then we took a stroll through town once decorating was done. Venue is very cozy, and everyone at Tembo hospitality is great to work with. Highly recommend utilizing this venue for your events!

The Farm was an incredible wedding venue that exceeded all of our expectations. From the moment we started planning, the staff was incredibly helpful, communicative and great to work with. They guided us through every step of the process, from brainstorming our initial ideas to finalizing the perfect menu. The space itself was amazing - the flow and layout allowed for so many cozy little nooks and seating areas for our guests to gather and mingle. On the day of, the entire team executed everything flawlessly, and we received so many compliments from our guests that the food was the best they had ever had at a wedding. We truly felt that the staff cared deeply about the little details, and it showed in the incredible experience they provided for our special day. We are so grateful to the whole team at The Farm, and would highly recommend them to any couple planning their wedding!

From the moment we started working with Emma at Castle Ladyhawke, we were impressed by their quick, efficient, and warm communication style. The venue itself was absolutely beautiful, with an authentic, charming feeling that made our wedding day feel truly special. The food was fantastic and despite complications it was a beautiful and magical day. While our initial coordinator, Emma, was great to work with over the 8 months leading up to the wedding, we were disappointed to learn upon arrival that she would not be there on the day. Her replacement, Kelsie, arrived late, did not have our updated documents, failed to communicate with the vendors that there was a space for them on the third floor, and seemed to lack the positive energy and personal responsibility we had come to expect. There were also a few small hiccups, like the arch being set up incorrectly initially. But overall, we had a wonderful, memorable day for us and our guests.

My husband and I got married at Timber Hall at the end of June and had a wonderful experience! Cheri was communicative, helpful, and very reassuring when it comes to the planning process. She was incredible helpful by answering questions and giving suggestions for vendors along the way! The venue is absolutely beautiful and has a dreamy outdoor space for the couple's first dance and parent dances. The ceremony was so memorable with the long walk-way and the unique ceremony site, our guests kept complimenting it all night! Our pictures turned out amazing with the mountain views in the background! We loved everything about Timber Hall and couldn't have asked for a better venue! We highly recommend this venue for someone who is looking for a beautiful outdoor wedding in the mountains!

Bent Creek Lodge, an Asheville Bed and Breakfast, has the best of all worlds for visitors to the area. The lodge is located only 10 miles from the center of Asheville or the famous Biltmore Estate; yet nestled in a forested triangle less than a mile from the Blue Ridge Parkway entrance and three miles from I-26. The lodge IS a remote mountain get-a-way. You can hike secluded trails right out your room door; within a half mile, you can start your drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway, visit the North Carolina Arboretum or launch a canoe on the French Broad River to float by the Biltmore Estate. It is only a short 15 minute drive to the fine restaurants, galleries, and shops in downtown Asheville, downtown Hendersonville, Biltmore Village, and the entrance to the Biltmore Estate.

We got married at Bent Creek Lodge on 8/6/22 and rented out the whole lodge and the Luhn house for ourselves and our guests for the weekend. It was extra special that we were able to get married here, because we actually stayed here the weekend we got engaged as well! It meant so much that we were able to return and share the experience with our loved ones. I am not exaggerating when I say that it was one of the most magical weekends of our lives, and it would not have been possible without Randy, Linda, and the rest of the amazing Bent Creek Lodge crew! The all-inclusive wedding package made it so insanely easy for us to have a top-tier wedding with minimal fuss and headaches on our part. We had our venue, lodging for all of our guests, officiant, catering, cake, beer and wine, and flowers all in a one-stop shop which made everything so much easier. The only things we chose to coordinate with outside vendors was the photography, DJ, and hair and makeup. Randy and his crew handled everything else, and they did an excellent job on all of it. All of the food was incredible, and they went above and beyond to accommodate our guests with special dietary needs. The flowers and cake were beautiful, and Randy did a wonderful job officiating our ceremony. Just about every single guest came up to us at least once during the weekend to gush about what an amazing time they were having, and several approached us afterwards to tell us it was one of the best weddings they had ever been to. The entire crew really went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and like family. Bent Creek Lodge will always have an extra special place in our hearts, and we couldn't be more grateful.

As a bride, I'd long envisioned having a mountain wedding, and Haiku bridges a secret, hidden garden venue with a striking mountain backdrop right in its backyard. I knew Haiku I Do was our venue the moment I stepped foot inside its lush atmosphere, though I had no idea how seamlessly everything would go and feel on the day of our wedding; my husband and I couldn't have asked for a more perfect evening. I loved every last detail and arrangement; Kimberly and the Haiku team heard even the understated pieces of my vision and brought those pieces together so well, and as an officiant, Kisha weaved humor, joy, and depth into our ceremony. It was one of the warmest, loveliest days of our lives, even with the cold weather. The cherry on top was the snow in Asheville the very next day. Emerald Ridge made every part of our weekend so perfect and special. This location and views are absolutely STUNNING. The owners truly cared so much and made our day magical. Their organization and communication are both top notch. We recommend using the coordinator at the venue, Malorie, as she was the true MVP and knows every detail at this venue back to front. We booked the no rush weekend and used the venue for our rehearsal as well. Our dog stayed with us all weekend as well which made us feel right at home. All in all we couldn’t be happier and enjoyed every minute here.

We loved having our big day at Weaver House. We used their full planning services and their catering. Alexandra is very easy to work with and is that calming presence on your wedding day! The venue itself if beautiful - we picked it partly because of the gardens outside since we love the outdoors and love spending time at our local arboretum. The catering was amazing as well - Chef Joey and Chef Brit take time to learn what you and your partner like and can put those spins on dishes you choose. The value is also great for the Western North Carolina area. We are so glad we kept our wedding in WNC after Helene and could support a wonderful space that truly wanted our day to be what we envisioned.

My wife and I got married at the Horseshoe Farm with roughly 60 guests staying in the various houses. The venue space, the houses, the food — everything was remarkable. It was a beautiful property with a magical atmosphere. The houses are perfectly situated for groups of friends and family of all sizes and the cookhouse is absolutely spectacular. Talk about gorgeous! We had several catered meals throughout our long weekend and each was more delicious than the last. We had our reception at Trailside this past Fall of 2023. The day of, everything went perfectly. We were given ample time to set up, freedom to move around in the space, and ability to utilize it as we saw fit. The venue usually has live music, but they booked an acoustic band, which set up in the main dining area of the brewery. Our reception was able to play its own music, from speakers we brought, and not feel impacted from the live music going on for the rest of the patrons. Our event did not co-mingle too much with the general public; however there was a couple people that drifted in and we politely asked them to leave. As stated above, our overall day of was all we could have wanted and more. The days leading up to our reception were very stressful due to renovations that weren't quite ready for our event. Since we were the first party in this space, we had to bare the growing pains, which Trailside tried to accommodate for as much as possible. I believe since we were the "test" party, this team will grow from the experience. All in all, our reception day was all we could have wanted and more, so when it came down to the wire, the team delivered.

The Main Event was the perfect venue for our wedding welcome reception. From the start, their communication was quick, helpful, and full of great suggestions. We loved the front space they provided for our welcome party - it had such a warm, inviting feel. We had about 80 people and it was perfect! The staff, especially Sara, was amazing and so helpful with every aspect of planning and coordinating our special day. They suggested wonderful caterers and their bar staff was fantastic. The setup was quick and easy, and they made us feel right at home and at ease throughout the entire process. For a small or big event, this is the venue you want to be at. The parking lot, A/V capabilities, and private photo room were an added bonus that really made our day run smoothly. We can't thank Sara and her team enough for helping to make our wedding so memorable.

I wanted a wedding venue in the mountains of North Carolina. I viewed so many venues from Salem to Banner Elk. Nothing compared to The Fields of Blackberry Cove. They were easy to set up a viewing appointment with. They walked us all around the property, including multiple ceremony options and a large guest house with a bridal suite and two guest bathrooms. Doug, the owner, offers his own catering which was beyound incredible. We did a buffet style and it was all delicious. Doug even made me my own cauliflower steak - I'm a vegetarian. Through the entire process Doug and his team, especially Carmen, were a pleasure to work with.

If you’re reading this review, I suspect you’ve already seen photos of the absolutely stunning Laurel Falls property from the long-range mountain views to the cascading waterfalls to the rhododendron forest to the well-equipped historical lodge and cabins. You may also be aware that you get the entire 18-acre venue and its 4 cabins for three whole days. These pieces alone could easily win you over. What can’t be captured in the photos is the quality of service, thoughtfulness of design, ongoing support, depth of knowledge, and genuine kindness exuded by each member of the Laurel Falls staff. Trust me, when planning a wedding, these things are VERY important, especially when planning from afar. Jordan, the owner, gave my then-fiancé and I the history of the property then took us on a tour of the property (and even did the on-site hiking trail with us). As we visited each area of the property, he helped us envision how we might use it for various weekend festivities. A wedding at Laurel Falls meant a long weekend with our favorite people in a gorgeous place and time to relax and soak in the whole experience - not just a single night that flies by so fast you don’t remember it. Despite my indecisive nature and this being the only venue we’d visited, it felt right and we knew it was for us. From this point, Kristen, the Events Director, was our main contact. There aren’t words to describe how phenomenal this woman is. Kristen is always so kind, helpful, positive, AND she could answer literally any obscure question I had. I reached out to Kristen to ask her recommendation on the ceremony start time because I wanted to be mindful of how the sun would impact the temp and the lighting at our chosen ceremony site. I expected just a discussion, but she blew me away when she also sent me the LF Pinterest page along with the names and ceremony start times of featured former couples married our same month. When I wasn’t sure how to arrange the tables and where to put the DJ to maximize dancing, she gave me insights AND shared layouts from other couples with a similar guest count. These are just a couple examples of Kristen’s meticulousness and level of support every step of the way. The Laurel Falls team truly thought of everything to make the wedding experience easy and pleasant. With the setting, we knew the wedding festivities would be beautiful, but the magical, memorable weekend wouldn’t have existed without the LF team. We’d choose this place - and these people - over and over again!!
