A Bupp Event was built after a huge move to the south and a new baby in tow. After 7 months of an extended maternity leave from events and the DC market I found I really missed events! The creative designs, the logistical details, the 'friendor' relationships. I missed it all. I decided to dive back into events, most specifically weddings, giving me the opportunity to connect with all these beautiful couples and a whole new set of vendors.

She helped create the most magical and stress-free day, taking care of every single detail so that my husband and I could simply enjoy ourselves. Ashley was so organized and prepared for any possibility, seamlessly coordinating with all of our vendors and keeping everyone on schedule. She was also incredibly kind, patient, and understanding throughout the entire planning process. In truth, the only reason I was initially looking to hire a "day-of coordinator" is because the wedding venue required it. That said, within moments of working with Jerica on our wedding I knew that I would hire her over and over again even if there had been no requirement to do so. Jerica and Stephanie went above and beyond what I, and really my entire wedding party, expected from a "day-of coordinator." From our initial conversations in the planning phase to the rehearsal to the morning of the wedding to the end of the night, they were on top of everything. Everyone kept complimenting me for being such a "calm" bride -- I can now say they had a lot to do with that. I was able to be present on my wedding day because I could trust completely that any issues that might arise, they would have the know-how and confidence to handle them. In fact, I learned later that the ceremony would have been a total disaster had Jerica and Stephanie not stepped up and took control of the situation. The experience Jerica has accumulated in all of her past endeavors lends itself beautifully to this new role. I wholeheartedly recommend and actually urge anyone looking for a wedding coordinator to do themselves a favor by hiring Jerica and her team.

Your experience with Mostest will highly depend on your assigned planner. Fortunately Mostest allows you to request a switch if it’s not a fit. I was originally paired with a coordinator who was not as proactive/did not project confidence and ability to guide. Mostest was super accommodating with getting me reassigned, replacing my original planner with Lanise within a day of me contacting them. Everything was smooth sailing from there on out! If you’re in Houston I highly recommend Lanise as a month-of coordinator! She consistently went above and beyond leading up to and on the day of my wedding. She is professional, organized, confident, and creative. I am a very Type A person, so it was important to me to have someone I could really trust with the details. Lanise sent detailed recaps with action items after each of our weekly meetings, was available over text when I had questions, smoothly handled vendor communications and even some family coordination for speeches, conducted venue visits, and did an AMAZING job decorating and keeping things moving on the day of. I came in with a pretty detailed vision and provided mockups of my table settings and special decor, but Lanise truly understood the assignment and executed it with such care and precision. I was blown away when I walked into the venue. She did not miss a detail! She was also just a fun and reliable presence throughout the night and even took what ended up being some of our favorite photos for us on her phone. Highly recommend!!!

The week of the wedding I was in contact with Morgan who would be our official day of coordinator. Morgan ended up saving the day when our bartender cancelled on us last minute; she stepped in and bartended on top of coordinating. Then she was able to work with me to donate our flowers to a women’s shelter; a cause that hits close to home for me. I cannot recommend Avenue Design Studio enough!!

We planned an entire destination wedding weekend for 100 of our relatives close friends. Kiara helped plan our welcome party, as well as our wedding ceremony reception. Our entire process was collaborative, and Kiara perfectly balanced bringing my vision to life while adding all of the special touches that she knew we needed. Brandon Thorn and Adam at Crimson Quarter Weddings went above and beyond to make our wedding day seamless! One of the things that I loved right away about Brandon when I first spoke with him was his authenticity, friendliness and sense of humor. I knew immediately that he was a genuine person who really cared about getting to know me and my fiancé. As a result, we became friends pretty quickly and got to know a lot about each other beyond wedding planning-related tasks. I so appreciated this because it meant that I felt like I had an ally to help me navigate the wedding planning process. Brandon will truly support you and go to bat for you if there is a communication issue or conflict of interest with another vendor or venue. I learned as a bride that it is really important to have someone like Brandon who is there 100% looking out for your best interests. I also appreciated that while I hired Brandon as my Day-of-Coordinator, he did way more than just day-of coordinating duties, including attending meetings with my venue several months in advance. He also always answered my texts and emails quickly and communicated with me frequently. This made me feel secure knowing that Brandon really cared about me! On the day of the event, we had to move our ceremony inside due to rain, and Brandon and Adam worked hard to still ensure that the décor and other elements for the ceremony were still set up to look beautiful inside. They also worked with the venue to make some changes to the furniture layout in order to still ensure that the space was set up to make us and our guests have the best experience possible. They also did an outstanding job taking down the décor and cleaning up so that my new husband and I could enjoy our second line and afterparty without having to worry about going back to the venue to clean up. When we returned to our hotel room much later that night, all of our items, including personal items that we had left in the venue space, were all returned to us and neatly stored in our room. We really felt taken care of the entire time. On top of all of this, I really felt like the fee we paid Brandon was an excellent value for the service that we received. I compared Brandon's pricing to other Day-of Coordinators in the New Orleans area, and I can say with certainty that his prices are better that most of the competition, especially for the level of service that you will receive! I would 100% recommend Crimson Quarter Weddings to any bride, groom or individual wishing to host a party/event in the New Orleans or broader Louisiana and Mississippi area!

We had over 200 guests, what felt like a million vendors, and a full weekend of events and moving pieces. Somehow, Brandon and Adam handled it all with complete ease and professionalism. By the time the wedding weekend arrived, I didn’t have to think about anything other than getting down the aisle. One of the things we were most anxious about was the weather, especially with our second line. Not only did they have a thoughtful plan in place, but they also brought in beautiful vintage umbrellas that looked absolutely phenomenal in photos, even with the perfect weather we got lucky with. Every detail felt intentional and elevated. Brandon, Adam, and the entire Reverie & Riot team exceeded every expectation with their creativity, organization, and calm, confident presence throughout the entire process. I went with Prestige Planning for my wedding planner because of the ease of use. I met with my certified wedding planner before I booked and she was amazing and explained the whole process. I knew I could plan my own wedding but I’m not a pro at all so I knew I would need a lot of help. I didn’t want to spend the money on a full wedding planner so going this route was absolutely perfect. They were with me every step of the way. I especially liked the SOS calls they give because I needed them to assist with a vendor I was having an issue with. I knew I was going to need help with logistics and stuff on the actual day of my wedding because I wouldn’t have time to do so, so I added the coordination add on to my package. So I got my wedding planned with major help from an actual certified planner and coordination for my wedding day for less than others are charging for just coordination. Just go for it. You will not be disappointed at all! They really went above and beyond and did more for me than what they had outlined they would do. I got more than my money worth.

I worked in the NYC fashion industry for about 5yrs, and while it wasn't what I was hoping for, it did give this New Orleans native the opportunity to move back to Louisiana. It also gave me the chance to expand my knowledge and eventually find out that I really wanted to plan weddings!

I can’t say enough good things about Pennywell Events. From our first call, she understood my “crash my elopement” vision and was all in. We traveled from Michigan to New Orleans wanting something between an elopement and a full wedding, no easy task, especially without a firm guest count. She handled everything flawlessly, planning for 20–30 guests (we had 23), securing a stunning dinner venue, and creating an elevated, intimate experience. The second line she arranged was unforgettable and still talked about by our guests, and the photographer she connected us with was perfect, giving us the best photos around the city. As an out of state bride, I felt completely taken care of. She brought our vision to life better than I imagined and at a price point that exceeded expectations. Truly an amazing experience.

We hired Michelle Knutson for our November 2025 Palm Springs wedding and truly could not be happier with our experience. We had a fairly small event, so we went with the day-of-coordinator package. Michelle truly went above and beyond just the day-of coordinating. She coordinated a couple intros zooms, got in touch with our venue and all of our vendors beforehand and brought us solutions when we realized we were going to be rained on. The day of she was a straight shooter - direct and ran a tight ship. But she was also warm, friendly and upbeat. Her assistant even took care of my dog for me and made sure he was fed and walked! We are forever grateful to her and her team for making our day so special. 10/10 recommend!
