You can’t go wrong with Kahlida!
Hiring Kahlida was one of the best things we did for our wedding and our sanity. My husband and I decided to have a small wedding with immediate family, and we did all of the planning ourselves. We initially thought that we could handle the logistics of that day, but even just booking the vendors started to become overwhelming. We were also planing the wedding from out of town, which sometimes made the planning more complicated. From the moment we had our initial meeting with Kahlida, I knew that she was the coordinator for us. My husband and I are pretty laid back, so we appreciated that she was able to match our energy. She was extremely kind and organized. Working with her kept our planning on track. I also really appreciated that she took the lead on reaching out to our vendors and coordinating with them in the few weeks leading up to our wedding, which is something I know we would have been too overwhelmed to do that close to our wedding. On the actual day, everything ran smoothly. We had limited decor for our ceremony and dinner, but I was impressed by how well she was able to execute my design vision. It was the perfect day, and I know it’s because of all of Kahlida’s hard work.

Kahilda is AMAZING!
We had a very busy, very over the top wedding day planned and realized about 6 months before that we'd definitely need someone to keep things running smoothly for us on the big day! Kahlida was a complete pleasure to work with, she took care of all the details I didn't have time for and didn't think of, we had regularly scheduled calls to discuss what I wanted and how she could help make that happen, and she was also super responsive to calls & texts with my random questions. She also reached out to all my vendors to make sure everyone knew where to be, when, and what was expected of them. I had a list of 15 vendors involved with this, and she got them all ready to go for me! Our total planned day was from 8am to 9pm, the wedding party alone was 22 people including the groom and myself, and the guest count was 130. We started with breakfast/getting ready at the hotel, to a carriage ride to the cathedral, to the ceremony, then had a 2nd line parade to a 3-hour cocktail hour at the hotel, then got everyone to the steamboat for a reception dinner and back to the hotel bar for the after party! Kahlida didn't miss a beat and everything went so smoothly. If you think you don't need a day-of-coordinator as a bride.... YOU DO! & if you're getting married in New Orleans, you need to pick Kahlida! We could not have done any of it without her!

Lifesaver
Kahlida and her team were total lifesavers toward the end of our process. Some unexpected changes happened and they spent hours and hours and hours on the phone, reconfiguring and reorganizing vendors. Would HIGHLY recommend everyone hire a day of coordinator or partial planner to help with this!

Kahlida was a pleasure to work with. She's friendly, decisive, encouraging and an excellent problem solver. She takes pride in her work and makes sure that you're able to relax throughout the planning process. I can't imagine having done this without her.

Great Day-of Wedding Coordinator
Kahlida was an amazing Day-of Wedding Coordinator. She kept in frequent communication with us leading up to the day of the event, provided us with a folder to upload all our contracts to and reached out to all of our vendors to make sure everyone was on the same page and confirmed. Kahlida was also great the day of our wedding! She kept us on track, made sure we ate and even delivered us drinks when it was time for our toasts! I would 100% recommend Kahlida to any couple who is planning their own wedding but wants some additional support once vendors are selected to confirm it all comes together as envisioned. It was great to know there was a confident and capable “go to” person on our wedding day that was not one of us! Kahlida strikes a great balance of being assertive and kind, exactly what we wanted and needed for someone in this role. Hiring Kahlida gave us the peace of mind we needed to have the perfect wedding day!
