“I cannot say enough good things about Gabby and Claudio Cakes! I found Gabby on Zola while planning our 120-person wedding. Though I reached out to other bakers, Gabby stood out with her variety of items, designs, and services. I am an indecisive person, so when I contacted Gabby, we only had a rough idea of what we wanted: a small cake and a dessert table. Gabby’s excellent communication skills helped us find exactly what we didn’t even know we wanted. She took our vague ideas and brought them to life with her creativity. Gabby met with us for a tasting, where we got to try an impressive selection of cake combinations. From what I recall, she offered more choices than any other baker we considered. While we aren’t typically cake people, every single thing we tasted was absolutely delicious. Our wedding was in Ventura County, and Gabby was able to provide delivery from LA. Our wedding started later than usual, and Gabby was flexible with a later delivery time, which was a huge help since our wedding was outdoors—we didn’t want desserts melting before the reception started. Even our coordinator mentioned how great this was since it’s not a standard service. In the end, we ordered around 19 dozen assorted pastries and a small cake for photos. The desserts were such a hit that they were gone almost immediately, and even months later, guests are still talking about how amazing everything was. Some even mentioned being disappointed they didn’t get to try anything because the treats disappeared so quickly. Throughout the whole process, Gabby was professional, knowledgeable, and communicated flawlessly. I truly wish all my vendors were as amazing as her. I highly, highly recommend Gabby, and I’m just waiting for another event to work with her again. Thank you so much, Gabby, for making our day so dreamy!”

Her designs are stunning and she worked with us to create multiple sketches tweaking colors and delivered the cake of our dreams! Everything about it was perfect - we wouldn’t change a thing. The design was so stunning I’m pretty sure my jaw dropped when we did our reception room reveal and we saw the cake! It truly matched our colors and the entire feel of the day. “My fiancé and I worked with Cami to provide desserts for our wedding and we were SO impressed with what she provided! We had a 6" lemon cake filled with Bavarian cream and raspberry preserves with a vanilla almond buttercream, strawberry shortcake cupcakes, brownies, and chocolate chip cookies. “Amy was an absolute joy to work with! Because my husband is Peruvian American, we really wanted to have a dessert table at our reception (a Peruvian wedding tradition). We spent months trying to figure out how to make it happen without success when, miraculously, we stumbled upon Twin Treats on Zola. We reached out to Amy, who responded within hours. We were in Nashville for the weekend for wedding planning, and Amy threw together a tasting box for us with barely any notice. Every single dessert we sampled was scrumptious - it was difficult to choose only a handful for our wedding reception! For the big day, Amy went above and beyond, even learning how to make a traditional Peruvian cookie (the "alfajor") for the dessert table. She totally understood our vision for our wedding cake, too. “I sent Crystal this photo and I was a bit nervous at first about how they'd be able to make this happen but honestly I am so happy with how this came out it really was absolutely beautiful. I wasn't able to meet her in person with everything going on but she dropped it off for us on time and my coordinator was great in getting everything set up and presented. A few blueberries fell off during handling but considering how detailed and intricate the cake was I am so beyond thrilled at how this came out. I really don't often ask for perfection but with how this came out it's really right up there being perfect. If I find any better photos I will absolutely update this post with them. The venue itself was an absolute disaster but it was great having all those excessive blueberries everywhere it really made a mess and watching them clean it all up later was just fantastic. I'm not even sure if it's on their regular menu but I asked them to do a lemon cake with a blueberry compote inside (I have no idea what that means but my now wife had me asking for that) and the flavors and taste of the cake were just beyond extraordinary. They also made and brought a smaller mint chocolate cake to accommodate some allergies we had in the family and one bite my breath was smelling good all night! Thank you so much for everything I will definitely have you guys doing more in the future!”

Although we went for a classic almond cake with raspberry filling, she has a huge selection of fun and unique flavors. Shannon got our vision right EXACTLY !
