Wild Rose Planning & Events was established in 2021 by two wedding industry experts. Throughout our years in the industry, we felt there was a gap in the planning process, making it feel more like work than fun. We’re here to provide you with the experience you deserve — stress free, organized, and memorable!

“When my husband and I got engaged in May 2023, Wild Rose was the very first vendor I booked (I sent my inquiry the day after he proposed). As a venue owner with more than 5 years in the industry at the time, I knew that the most important, non-negotiable vendor would be our coordinator. I knew that I wanted the full planning aspect so that I could enjoy the process as a BRIDE, not from an industry or “work” perspective. Brenna and Molly had been so amazing to work with at the venue, I absolutely loved their product and knew I had to have them do my wedding. From day one they made me feel so confident in our choices, our to-do list felt like it was handled and I didn’t have to worry about a thing. They fully designed our day - stationary, florals, decor rentals, it was such a blast to have our check-in meetings on Zoom to SEE our design come together. They handled all of the vendor exchanges, including when we arrived to our venue in Costa Rica and it looked completely different than the pictures online so we ended up moving our ceremony site to our welcome party site with 24 hours to go! I’d be lying if I said I didn’t worry for a second, but I did worry - if only for a second. Truly Brenna and Molly said “we got this” and they handled it so easily. I was worried about packing two wedding dresses for international travel - Molly had me bring them and my suitcase to work and she herself packed them perfectly. When we got to Costa Rica they came to our villa to unpack and hang them safely. On my wedding day Molly steamed my veil and was actually the one to get me in my dress. They were also so incredibly understanding with everything I wanted to do to include my mother who passed away in 2021. I brought a necklace with cremation remains and they so lovingly tied it on my bouquet for me. They carried the portrait I had my now mother-in-law carry down the aisle around with them throughout the day like she was just hanging out with them. They even took the portrait back to their flat so mom was at their “after party.” Our 3 sons are the first to refer our friends and family that are wedding planning to “Miss Brenna and Molly” - they loved hanging out with them for the week we were together. Overall - I love Brenna and Molly enough to spend a year in meetings with them AND fly them to Costa Rica for a week, along with our 30 closest family and friends. Their care, attention to detail, and confidence continue to amaze me and Wild Rose will always and forever be the best thing I ever did for our wedding!”

“We hired Jazmyn for month of coordination & day of coordination. I cannot explain the value, organization & peace of mind Jazmyn brought to the table for us. She was always SO responsive to emails and questions, was flexible to our schedule for calls and meetings, and made wedding day go seamlessly. She picked up on small details and planned for things we hadn't thought of. She communicated with our vendors in ways I didn't even realize, and was always two steps ahead. Multiple people on wedding day told me how helpful and awesome she was! She was patient and kind to all questions, calm and collected in times of (my) stress, and truly a friend to me in the planning process. I wanted to *just* be a bride on wedding day and not have to worry about vendor arrivals, setup/teardown, emergencies, etc. She handled everything with such professionalism, efficiency and grace. We even hired her for our rehearsal dinner which was absolutely worth it!! If you are worried about the details of your day and want to hand it off to someone you can 100% trust- Jazmyn is your girl!!!!!! Additionally- we used Jazmyn's content creation team for wedding day which was 10/10 worth it! I didn't think I would care about having behind the scenes videos/photos, but it was so special to wake up with 500 videos on my phone from wedding day. Our full photo gallery will take a couple months so it's nice to have those items to look back on in the meantime! It would be a great option for someone not wanting to invest in a true videography team.”

“If there is one piece of advice I can give to engaged couples, it’s to hire Rach and the Whatever is Lovely team. I have been trying to write this review for months now and have struggled because words can’t describe how amazing Rach is and how grateful we are to have had her plan our wedding. To start, Rach is the nicest, kindest, and most caring person you’ll ever meet. She is truly one of my favorite people. From the moment we met her she had our best interests at heart. Rach didn’t try to sell us on hiring her or on spending more money on a different package - she wanted to make sure we found the right planning fit. Rach made the planning process SO much easier. Rach sent us monthly to do’s which kept us on track. She helped us build the most wonderful team of vendors; we had the most amazing team and that is all thanks to Rach. She got to know our taste for each vendor category and sent us a few options to consider - this made the process of narrowing down vendors in a big city so much easier and less overwhelming. Rach was always so speedy to respond to our many questions and put up with all our many anxieties. I was quite the anxious bride and Rach was always there to calm my anxieties and always knew exactly what to say. She literally picked me up when I was down - literally, she helped me up when I tripped on my dress! Our wedding day was the best day of our lives. It was more than perfect. I honestly can’t take much credit for how perfect it was, because it was all because of Rach. I can’t give Rach and her team enough thanks or enough praise for making our wedding so beautiful and fun. I didn’t have to worry about anything on our wedding day. Rach and her team took care of everything. They told us where to be and when. I barely had to lift a finger because someone was there to do anything for me. We received so many compliments from our wedding party, friends, and family about how wonderful Rach was and how seamless our wedding day was. I cannot say enough good things about Rach. She is wonderful and amazing at her job. If you’re looking for a wedding planner or day of coordinator, look no further than Rach and Whatever is Lovely! I cannot recommend them enough!”

“Great experience with Union. First off, they have a beautiful space that really encompasses the vibe of downtown KC. But their service was also great to match. We wish we had gone with the full planning package instead of just the month-of-package, because once they started getting involved in our plan about 60 days out, things really got a lot easier, so I would highly suggest using them for your planning. When I first reached out to Laura she responded so quickly, and during our very first meeting (before I had even officially hired her!) she was already giving me helpful tips and ideas. She is SO organized — spreadsheets, timelines, even a list of things to remember to pack for the wedding day. She answered all my questions, calmed my stress more than once, and worked so hard to track down THREE disco balls for our dance floor. She immediately understood the vibe I was going for and supported me through the whole planning process. I can't even gush more about how wonderful our wedding day was. On the wedding day, Laura was literally everywhere. My whole family kept commenting on how amazing she was, running around making sure everything was happening on time and going smoothly. I didn't stress for a single minute, because I knew everything was in good hands. Her assistant Morgan was the GOAT. She stayed by my side basically the entire night. At one point a family member had me a little rattled and she calmly escorted them away and then came right back to check on me. She even helped me pee in my dress — which honestly tells you everything about the level of support she gave me that night! At the end of the night I literally cried because I was so happy and everything was so perfect. Our wedding day would not have been the same without Laura and her team. “We worked with Marissa Sartory for our Napa Valley wedding in July 2024. She truly went above and beyond with the planning and coordinating of our wedding! We had multiple walkthroughs of the venue with different vendors and lots of outside requests for the day of and she was so open to different ideas and was always super helpful in getting answers back to us quickly! The week of the wedding I was in contact with Morgan who would be our official day of coordinator. Morgan ended up saving the day when our bartender cancelled on us last minute; she stepped in and bartended on top of coordinating. Then she was able to work with me to donate our flowers to a women’s shelter; a cause that hits close to home for me. I cannot recommend Avenue Design Studio enough!!”

“We hired Sofi as our wedding manager and we were extremely happy with that decision. We knew we didn't need a full-on planner but from the advice of others, wanted someone to pass off month-of vendor engagement, timeline creation, and day-of logistics to. Sofi was worth it in every way. She's incredibly responsive, knowledgeable about executing a wedding in KC, and had referrals for bakers, event decor, and other vendors we inquired about. She not only accepts same-sex couples as clients but projects a deep, personal commitment to the belief that our love is worth celebrating. “So I usually don’t write reviews but I had to for this because my experience very easy and pleasant. I wasn’t left to plan my own wedding. The wedding planners here were very attentive and they basically helped me plan my wedding. Think of it like we planned my wedding together. The price was perfect too cause wedding planners are expensive. They even hooked me up with transportation and flowers for my wedding. Prestige Planning Co. was really great and I would recommend them to anyone.”
