“I cannot say enough good things about Gabby and Claudio Cakes! I found Gabby on Zola while planning our 120-person wedding. Though I reached out to other bakers, Gabby stood out with her variety of items, designs, and services. I am an indecisive person, so when I contacted Gabby, we only had a rough idea of what we wanted: a small cake and a dessert table. Gabby’s excellent communication skills helped us find exactly what we didn’t even know we wanted. She took our vague ideas and brought them to life with her creativity. Gabby met with us for a tasting, where we got to try an impressive selection of cake combinations. From what I recall, she offered more choices than any other baker we considered. While we aren’t typically cake people, every single thing we tasted was absolutely delicious. Our wedding was in Ventura County, and Gabby was able to provide delivery from LA. Our wedding started later than usual, and Gabby was flexible with a later delivery time, which was a huge help since our wedding was outdoors—we didn’t want desserts melting before the reception started. Even our coordinator mentioned how great this was since it’s not a standard service. In the end, we ordered around 19 dozen assorted pastries and a small cake for photos. The desserts were such a hit that they were gone almost immediately, and even months later, guests are still talking about how amazing everything was. Some even mentioned being disappointed they didn’t get to try anything because the treats disappeared so quickly. Throughout the whole process, Gabby was professional, knowledgeable, and communicated flawlessly. I truly wish all my vendors were as amazing as her. I highly, highly recommend Gabby, and I’m just waiting for another event to work with her again. Thank you so much, Gabby, for making our day so dreamy!”

“We absolutely loved our wedding cake and the entire experience of working with Abby! From the beginning, Abby was extremely professional and so easy to work with! Her designs are stunning and she worked with us to create multiple sketches tweaking colors and delivered the cake of our dreams! Everything about it was perfect - we wouldn’t change a thing. The design was so stunning I’m pretty sure my jaw dropped when we did our reception room reveal and we saw the cake! It truly matched our colors and the entire feel of the day. Not to mention the cake itself was so fresh and tasted amazing! We also loved our cake tasting experience with Abby! We had vegan and GF options for our guests and everything came labeled accordingly. We had such a good time at our tasting... “We cannot say enough amazing things about our wedding baker! From start to finish, the experience was absolutely incredible. The tasting experience was super easy and stunning. Our traditional tiered cake was stunning, elegant, beautifully crafted, and topped with sugar flowers that were so realistic that I genuinely thought they were fake at first. The level of detail and artistry was beyond anything we imagined. I had tears in my eyes when I saw her bring in the cake. What truly set our baker apart, though, was her willingness to take on something completely unique. We asked for a “bleeding armadillo” cake inspired by Steel Magnolias (not exactly a typical wedding request but if you know, you know) and even though she wasn’t familiar with it, she absolutely nailed it! Not only did it look fantastic, but it was also delicious and a huge hit with our guests. After the tasting, we requested that the red velvet be a little darker for the effect of the bleeding armadillo from the movie. Again, she surpassed our expectations. Her creativity, skill, and dedication made our wedding desserts are truly unforgettable. If you’re looking for someone who can deliver both classic elegance and fun, personalized designs, we wholeheartedly recommend her! “Lauren is the best! Her process is so seamless which is very helpful with crazy wedding planning. We started with a small cake tasting with a few different flavors, buttercreams, and a filling. We were able to take it to-go and enjoy the cake tasting together at home! We ended up choosing vanilla cake with raspberry filling and vanilla buttercream. I sent her an inspo picture of what I was going for as far as cake detailing and floral placement. My wedding cake came out just like the picture! Not only is she detail oriented but her cake is one of the best cakes I’ve ever had!! She truly is amazing and brought my dream wedding cake to life. “I absolutely love Barnett’s Sweets! We had the honor to have them as part of my husband and I’s wedding day! From inquiring on pricing in the beginning, to adjusting plans along the way, they have been there to support and answer any questions/decisions that we had. I first found out about Barnett’s at a Bridal show in Fort Worth Tx and they were giving away these beautiful sparkly cupcakes. I fell in love with how rich yet airy the frosting was and I liked how the cake was a good spongey texture. I ordered a lot of mini cupcake testers for our wedding day and our favorite was the Italian cream with buttercream frosting! Seriously the best! Not too sweet, not overly “cakey”, our guests LOVED it! 10/10 I’ll forever recommend this amazing bakery shop. They definitely go above and beyond”

“Valerie of Frosted Swirl was an absolute delight to work with while creating mine and Dylan’s dream sweetheart wedding cake and cupcakes! From the very beginning, she made the entire process feel exciting, easy, and so special. We started with a tasting box, and honestly… we wished we could have chosen every single flavor. Each cupcake was beautifully crafted and unbelievably delicious. We ultimately chose four flavors that perfectly complemented our November 1st wedding - Apple Cider Donut, Cannoli, Brownie Sundae, and Chocolate Raspberry. The Chocolate Raspberry was so incredible that we knew immediately it had to be our sweetheart cake flavor as well! Our cake was stunning! “Amy was an absolute joy to work with! Because my husband is Peruvian American, we really wanted to have a dessert table at our reception (a Peruvian wedding tradition). We spent months trying to figure out how to make it happen without success when, miraculously, we stumbled upon Twin Treats on Zola. We reached out to Amy, who responded within hours. We were in Nashville for the weekend for wedding planning, and Amy threw together a tasting box for us with barely any notice. Every single dessert we sampled was scrumptious - it was difficult to choose only a handful for our wedding reception! For the big day, Amy went above and beyond, even learning how to make a traditional Peruvian cookie (the "alfajor") for the dessert table. She totally understood our vision for our wedding cake, too. Our planner (Jenn Davis Events) introduced us to Juries, and from the very beginning, she was a dream to work with. Very professional, responsive, ACCOMODATING and so intentional with every detail. I had a very specific vision: a tall, classy, elegant, and ARTISTIC cake that would tie in seamlessly with our wedding signage and day of paper goods and she delivered that and more. Our cake was a true statement piece. Five tiers of textured, draped fondant, delicate floral details, and a gold acrylic monogram (our logo) that perfectly matched our gold acrylic menu cards. It was not just a dessert; it was an art piece that reflected our entire wedding aesthetic. Flavor-wise, Juries worked with us to create a custom combo of chocolate cake with a caramel and hazelnut praline buttercream filling. It was rich, moist, perfectly balanced, not overly sweet and completely unforgettable (I am already thinking of hosting something so that i have a reason to order another cake from her with the same filling because it was that GOOD!). “Shannon is the best! She made us a giant cake for our wedding, and it was the most beautiful and tasty thing I have ever seen/eaten. We are still getting compliments from our guests about our cake and how awesome it was! Shannon was one of the most easy people to work with, from scheduling our tasting, to mock-ups of the cake vision, to payment. She made it so easy to make sure our dog was on the cake! She is in constant communication with you, which I sincerely appreciated. I never had to worry about our cake making it to where it needed to be or looking perfect! She also made the most delicious cupcakes for the grooms cake and was very flexible on how we would have them displayed. She's the best! Would definitely recommend Shannon for any cake you might need, especially your wedding cake! 3”

“Going with The Naked Cupcake for our wedding day was a no-brainer. We compared several different places and none of them hit the mark like The Naked Cupcake did. To start, they offer the option of a virtual consultation for the tasting, which makes it super easy and convenient for busy people like my husband and I. You get to pick out 4 different combinations to taste for cupcakes, pick them up, and then schedule a virtual consultation that works for your schedule. After that, it was smooth sailing. I told Alison exactly what I was looking for and she delivered! She was so easy to talk to, flexible to get us what we wanted, and quick! Plus, she was very on top of things making sure our venue got their insurance, communicating with our wedding planner, etc. My husband and I were so happy we went with them. We loved our wedding cake, all the flavors from the tasting were so good we went with pretty much all of them, and they were so kind to leave us a sweet handwritten card with a mini cake for my husband and I to take home (we decided to freeze it and have it on our one year anniversary :)). Go with The Naked Cupcake and you won’t be disappointed!”
