We couldn’t be happier with the incredible work Portraits by Sean did on our wedding day! From start to finish, he was professional, creative, and so easy to work with. Sean stayed until the very end of the night, capturing every special moment without ever making us feel rushed. One of the things we really appreciated was how he worked with the kids—getting them to smile and be comfortable without any stress. Their ability to blend in while also capturing candid, beautiful moments was outstanding. We were blown away by the quality of the photos, and they truly exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend Portraits by Sean to anyone looking for a talented and reliable photographer to capture the magic of their day!

Where do I even begin... first, Heather was absolutely phenomenal! She was able to fit us in with probably the shortest notice ever. She was also able to work with our budget. Her communication was amazing, she answered all of my questions quickly. She made us feel very comfortable! Working with her and her fiance felt like we had all been friends already, we just clicked (haha). Side note: we got to help out two poor little stray kittens with them, so animal lovers always a plus in my book! I am madly in LOVE with the photos she took, they are absolutely perfect!!!! She was able to capture our dream come true and so much more!!! They are so beautiful!!! She was even able to finish the editing earlier then planned. I already talked it over with my husband, and we plan on hiring her again in the future! A five star rating does not do her justice, she was hands down the best!!!

Hi, I’m Isaac. In my world, light is everything. The cool ambient hues at dawn, hinting at what the day may bring. Golden sun rays catching particles through a tree as friends gathers to celebrate. A Cotton candy sunset peppered by patio string-lights as a DJ plays my favorite song. We all have timeless memories logged in our minds. For me, they are based in a language of light. As a wedding photographer, this deep connection to special lighting helps me produce dynamic visual stories of romance, personality and beauty.

Awarded Best of Zola
From the moment we met Isaac, we knew we were in the best hands. He has an incredibly calming presence and a natural way of making you feel comfortable, which meant we were able to be fully present on our wedding day. Our Sonoma farm wedding unfolded with a gorgeous outdoor ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner reception, followed by music and festivities in the barn. Isaac captured every moment with such artistry and intention. The images feel effortless yet elevated as every frame tells a story, from quiet, emotional moments to the joy and movement of our guests celebrating into the night. The photographs from our first dance in the barn truly took our breath away. The way Isaac used the natural light, textures of the wood, and atmosphere of the space made the images feel cinematic and timeless. Working with Isaac was seamless, professional, thoughtful, and genuinely joyful. Looking through our gallery feels like reliving the day exactly as it felt. The images are beautiful, emotional, and full of life. We are endlessly grateful for his vision and would recommend him without hesitation to anyone dreaming of a wedding that feels both authentic and artfully captured.

Hello there! I'm Andrea, owner of Amative Creative, and every weekend we're so blessed to be able to tell the love stories of so many amazing couples. Like many others in this industry might say, we simply adore weddings. But what makes us a little different is our entire brand is centered around telling love stories specifically curated to reflect your vision and aesthetic. "Amative" means to be prone to love, so as you can see, we want nothing more than to tell your love story! But what makes us truly unique is that we understand every love story looks different. And we personalize every aspect of how we document your wedding day!

Awarded Best of Zola
We had a great experience with Amative Creative for our wedding! One thing that really made them stand out was that they offer so many different editing styles to choose from, so we were able to pick exactly the look we wanted. They also got our photos back to us super quickly—about a week after the wedding—which was such a nice surprise. The photos turned out beautiful and they captured all the big moments and some great candid shots. I especially love how cool the dance floor shots turned out. We received tons of compliments on the pictures! Highly recommend!

Big fan of dive bars, staring at the stars, forever searching for the best french fries, a blissfully cold Diet Coke, and a true midwestern why fly it's only 15 hours. You'll find me often traveling, spending time in nature, collecting rocks and shopping for vintage t-shirts. I love carefree messy in between moments, photographing my daily life on polaroids and film. I've lived a lot of places (Arizona, Arkansas, and Puerto Rico to name a few!) and have so many places that I treasure and feel at home.

When I was in the throes of wedding planning over a year ago, I was reaching out to vendors and putting payments down for June 2, 2024, and was crossing my fingers my deployed fiancé would even be able to attend, thanks to his unpredictable schedule. Amidst the stress (and borderline panic attacks!!) I was having because of that, I was also receiving a lieu of impersonal emails with quotes from photographers. When I got the email back from Jessica, she was the only one who answered with excitement and personality, and gave me a sense that this was supposed to be FUN. All this wedding planning was a very lucky sort of stress, and she didn’t make me feel like I was just some box to check off in her inbox— she was personable and friendly, and I liked her immediately. For the course of the year, Jessica and I kept up with eachother with texts, messages, and Instagram— and I felt like she was already a friend when June arrived. Even after her 12 hour journey to Virginia, she was full of energy and ready to go. She helped adjust some coordination timelines and caught things that I otherwise wouldn’t have. She hung out with my rambunctious family all weekend, witnessing our love and laughter, WIDE range of personalities, and even some sisterly tiffs. Honestly, she whole-heartedly became part of our crew. She ran everything past me when it came to details. Duke and I are not people who are comfortable in front of a camera, and I LOVED having her specifically tell us what to do to look good, while still feeling incredibly relaxed and natural around her. Duke and I kept saying she had Jedi powers the way she was able to flip cameras, batteries and equipment seamlessly. I’m writing this while in the airport leaving our honeymoon, and not only did Duke and I, and our families fall in love with Jessica— I still have guests reaching out to me via text to tell me how they hit it off with her on their own, how impressed they were with her ethic, or how they loved pictures from our sneak peek (eeeek!) I am not a girl who naturally feels pretty or comfortable in front of a camera. Jessica gave me the gift of finally experiencing both of those things on our special day. I felt beautiful and at ease. She captured the bridal portraits that I hope my great grandkids will put in their family tree projects for school one day, some of Dukes family and mine meeting for the first time, friends dancing, and our grandparents mingling and giving us their love. Duke and I knew our big white wedding would be our one chance to have everyone we love in one place. We are well aware of the rarity in that, and the fact that we don’t have much longer with some of those people we love. We’re well aware that these are the photos Duke and I will be looking at with our grandchildren when we’re old and grey, thinking about “the good ol’ days.” These photos are all we will have left one day of the people we love so fiercely, and these versions of ourselves. We will endlessly be grateful for Jessica of her effort and the labor that went into photographing a weekend like ours. She captured every single aspect of us and those we love, and above all us, gave us the gift of memory. 3 Faith and Duke

From the very first contact, he was incredibly responsive (super important to us), friendly and professional. His work looked great so we were excited - then we found out he was featured in Vogue! We were stoked. He was amazing to work with on the wedding day - punctual, friendly, got all the requested shots, and the whole bridal party loved him. We got our pictures back today - and they’re so much better than we could have dreamed of. It’s no wonder he was featured in Vogue - his work is artistic, candid, and beautiful. Hi! My name is Steve. I do visual storytelling. I’m married with three kids and in my spare time I record music and build things. I've been filming and photographing weddings since 2009. I love travel and getting to know unique couples.

Awarded Best of Zola
We hired Steven and his team to do our wedding photos and videography. I really wanted a photographer that could capture the soul of the event, and Steven did exactly that. His photos are full of life, and I shared so many portraits with guests that actually got printed out or posted online. If you're looking for hundreds of photos of your wedding party that look exactly the same and for every planned second to be documented, Steven is not your person. If you're looking to hit the big moments but focus on capturing raw moments with timeless photos to get framed, I couldn't recommend them more. I never thought I would get a wedding video because it always seemed cheesy to me. But after watching examples of his work I fell absolutely in love with his videos. I've honestly had a hard time watching ours because it evokes so much emotion. Steven was collaborative and willing to go with the flow. We gave him the difficult task of being prepared for 3 different locations with totally differing lighting (indoor/outdoor plus shooting from high sun into the night). He puts an immense amount of care into his work and the photos are truly art that we will cherish forever. If there are specific things you want covered, be sure to share a list. When it comes to capturing the moments that can't be planned, he is on the case!

King is seriously a dream to work with! From the first time we talked, we just knew they were the right choice. He’s so down-to-earth and made us feel totally at ease, which was huge because neither of us are super comfortable in front of a camera. He helped us with posing when we needed it (thank you for making us look like we knew what we were doing!), but also just let us be ourselves, which resulted in the most natural, beautiful photos. He totally captured the vibe of our day, especially the reception. The energy, the laughter, the dancing—everything was perfectly documented. We couldn’t have asked for better photos that really tell the story of our celebration. We’re beyond happy with how everything turned out!

Refined, editorial wedding photography rooted in connection, emotion, and timeless storytelling. I photograph weddings with a calm, intentional approach, blending editorial direction with natural, unscripted moments. My goal is to create images that feel effortless, elevated, and deeply personal, so when you look back, you don’t just see how it looked, you remember exactly how it felt.

Hiring Keri-Ann as our photographer was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We are a very private couple a s she respected this. Our celebration was a three-day Indian and American wedding weekend, which meant there were so many meaningful traditions, family moments, and emotions to capture and Keri-Ann handled it all flawlessly. From the very beginning, she was incredibly professional, kind, and genuinely invested in telling our story. She took the time to understand our traditions and made everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera. Her presence felt calming during moments that could have easily become stressful, and she helped guide us through the timeline so we could actually enjoy our wedding. What truly stood out was how far she went above and beyond for us. One of my close friends was flying in from another country and arrived later than expected, and I really wanted photos with her. Without hesitation, Keri-Ann changed her return flight and stayed an extra night just so we could do that session. She didn’t charge us anything additional for her time the only cost was covering her extra hotel night. That level of care and flexibility meant so much to us. When we received our photos, we were absolutely blown away. Every image felt emotional, elegant, and timeless. She captured the beauty of our traditions, the joy of our families coming together, and all the little moments we didn’t even realize were happening. Looking through the gallery felt like reliving the entire weekend. Keri-Ann is not just a photographer she is someone who truly cares about her couples and the memories she preserves for them. If you want someone who is talented, thoughtful, and willing to go the extra mile for you, she is the photographer you want by your side. Fatima
