While our Red Velvet cake was absolutely delicious on the inside, and she added extra cookies to the cake after our follow-up consultation. We learned a tough lesson about deep-colored frosting. Cheryl warned us about the impacts of using heavy dye to achieve a burgundy exterior (as we wanted to avoid fondant), and we should have listened! The exterior ended up with a bit of a chemical taste and stained everything it touched. Take our advice: Cheryl knows her stuff! If she makes a suggestion on color or texture, trust her expertise—you’ll be in great hands. Aside from our own misunderstanding, the service and cake quality were wonderful.”

“Amy was an absolute joy to work with! Because my husband is Peruvian American, we really wanted to have a dessert table at our reception (a Peruvian wedding tradition). We are a licensed local bakery and operate from a commercial kitchen, but still small enough that you are getting a specialized experience and reliable communication from inquiry to delivery. “We had an incredible experience with The Naked Cupcake. From initial contact, to the consultation and tasting, all the way to wedding day, they continually went above and beyond making sure all the details were taken care of. Everyone has been raving about our cake (and our vegan/gluten-free guests LOVED their cupcakes). They were even sweet enough to give us a mini cake of our own to snack on after the wedding! Overall, we had a great experience and would highly recommend the Naked Cupcake to anyone planning their wedding/celebration!”
