I don’t know if I can adequately express how absolutely in love I am with the wedding photos McKenna (and her associate, Kymber) did for my (now) husband and I. I will forever sing her praises because of how immensely professional, kind, sweet, and talented she is. My spouse and I decided that we wanted to elope in Glacier National Park, and had a fairly short engagement leading up to the day. Though we had been to Glacier a few times before, we weren’t entirely familiar with which locations would be best for photos and ceremony sites. McKenna was so great and patient walking us through possible locations and recommendations on the phone months before our wedding. She’s so knowledgeable about the area, we always felt like we were in good hands with her. McKenna also stayed in contact throughout our engagement and was great at touching base to ensure we were all on the same page. She went above and beyond to ensure that we had the perfect day logistically as well as aesthetically. The day of our wedding was filled with intermittent rain, which McKenna took in absolute stride. She was so positive and bubbly, and we barely noticed the rain and cold. She was also great at giving instructions for poses, but also incredible at capturing candid moments (my favorite). My spouse and I are not at all confident in posing or taking photos, and to be perfectly honest, I even wondered several times during the wedding planning phase if I should not have a photographer for my wedding at all because I didn’t know if I’d love the photos. I’M SO GLAD I DID. I feel nothing but joy looking though these photos. McKenna’s photography style is bright and timeless, and captures all of the love that I have for my spouse and for that day as a whole. McKenna is incredible and one of the best photographers I’ve had the pleasure of working with. So, if you’re considering working with McKenna for your wedding- just do it already. She’s really such a gem and you’ll be so glad you did.

Working with Ryan was an absolute dream! From the moment we started planning our engagement/announcement shoot, he was all-in — and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better photographer. He hiked up a mountain with us (yes, really!) and captured everything so effortlessly: the love between us, our connection, the laughter, and even our pup’s sweet personality. Ryan has a gift for making people feel at ease. We were a little nervous at first, but he instantly made us feel comfortable and confident. From laughing through the hike to tearing up during our vow exchange, every emotion was captured so beautifully and authentically. The final photos are beyond what we could’ve hoped for. If you’re looking for someone who will go the extra mile (literally) to tell your story through beautiful, authentic images — Ryan is your guy.

Aurelia K Photography
Rating: 5.0 (1 review)
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $7,500
  • Serves Paradise, MT

Hey! I'm Aurelia! I am a natural light wedding photographer based in Western Montana with a love for the golden sunsets, the wild west & all things travel. I am ready to be your new bestie all while capturing your unique love story through my lens, anywhere your love takes you. Let's adventure together! It is super important to me that my photos capture true emotion + connection with you + your lover.

Before we were even engaged, we reached out to Aurelia, hoping she'd be available for an elopement the following year. Her incredible portfolio gave us a strong gut feeling—we knew we had to get on her books before we made it official. From our very first conversation, we felt at ease. Despite being total strangers and miles apart, there was an immediate sense that she was the right person to authentically capture our special day. What we didn’t realize at the time was that we weren’t just hiring a photographer—we were gaining an advocate, a guide, and someone who truly cared about our experience. Eloping in a state we don’t live in came with its challenges, but Aurelia was there every step of the way. She was quick to respond to every question and hurdle, including coordinating a backup florist at the last minute when our original one failed to respond the night before the wedding. We were also lucky enough to have Aurelia take our engagement photos a few months before the big day. As two people who don’t naturally feel comfortable in front of a camera, we hoped this would help us ease into things. But what truly made the difference wasn’t the extra session—it was Aurelia’s gift for capturing candid, genuine moments without making us feel overly posed. When we sent her a Pinterest board of ideas, she went above and beyond—showing up prepared with props, and even driving a vintage car down a dirt road to bring our vision to life. Leading up to our wedding day, Aurelia created a thoughtful and organized timeline that we shared with our loved ones. Thanks to her preparation, everyone was on the same page, allowing us to stay present and on track to capture all the moments that mattered most. For my husband, the idea of six hours of photos initially sounded like a nightmare. But by the end of the day, he said, “That was the most fun I’ve had in a while—and my favorite memory with you, even more than traveling the world.” That sentiment is entirely thanks to Aurelia. She made the experience feel completely tailored to us, turning even the most photographed spots in West Glacier into something that felt uniquely ours. We truly cannot rave about Aurelia enough. We look forward to any excuse to travel to Montana again—just to have her capture all of life’s future milestones.

Vic was an AMAZING photographer for our wedding, we could not have possibly picked better. My entire family loved her, and she made them laugh so much- which was amazing considering some of us were nervous! She got to the venue and immediately had ideas for what shots to take, which helped me so much considering I hadn’t really planned what I wanted photos to look like. They came out amazingly. She captured every part of the evening, and the edits we got back are beautiful. I love the way the gallery is set up to make choosing photos easier and to ask for more later, or keep unedited versions too. Thanks to Vic I will have those special memories forever!

Ali Cushing Photography

My name is Ali Cushing; a NY-based photographer working in a blended documentary and editorial approach, emphasized with a cinematic method, and a personalized, true to life editing style. I am honored to be entrusted with depicting genuine love, authentic characters, and immortalizing precious memories. I see beauty in the subtle details as much as the wide, epic scene, while I see glory in the mundane in-between moments as much as the heart thudding highs. I am adamant that everyone, of all genders and orientations, any ethnicity, culture, or faith, all shapes, ages, and abilities, are welcome and I’d be delighted to work with you.

Awarded Best of Zola
We had the most amazing time working with Ali! We had kind of a long engagement and we initially started working with Ali over a year and a half before our wedding to get our engagement photos done. Not only were the photos beautiful, but Ali made us feel super comfortable and at ease throughout our session. Leading up to our wedding day, Ali was amazing at coordinating the day of timeline with our coordinator and making sure that all the elements that were important to us were included so that we had enough time to capture the moments. One of my favorite things about working with Ali is her calm presence. Every time I was stressed about something in the planning process about the timeline I would talk to Ali and she would immediately make me feel at ease. She was constantly reminding me that the most important thing on my wedding day was to be present with our friends and family (and as a type A bride this was a much-needed reminder!) Ali also came to take photos at our rehearsal dinner and welcome party which was great because she got to know our families and our family dynamics before our big day which was a huge help! On the wedding day Ali and the second shooter Scottie were rockstars! They went above and beyond at every opportunity from helping the boys tie a bow tie, climbing out on my fire escape to get a crazy photo that I had in mind, moving locations at last minute, dealing with rain, helping bustle my dress, and of course capturing all the beauty of our perfect day. I will not hesitate to work with Ali and her team again! She’s amazing, a true professional, and I hope we have the chance to have her capture our big milestones in the years to come.

Hi, I’m Isaac. In my world, light is everything. The cool ambient hues at dawn, hinting at what the day may bring. Golden sun rays catching particles through a tree as friends gathers to celebrate. A Cotton candy sunset peppered by patio string-lights as a DJ plays my favorite song. We all have timeless memories logged in our minds. For me, they are based in a language of light. As a wedding photographer, this deep connection to special lighting helps me produce dynamic visual stories of romance, personality and beauty.

We loved Isaac and his wife, Jing, who photographed our wedding earlier this month. Isaac was super calm and collected and on top of everything. His photography style was perfect for us. He already delivered about half of our retouched photos a week after the wedding which was insane and I love every single one. He was flexible with the 5 flower girls we had in and out of pictures and the multiple areas on our venue property. Overall an amazing experience and I recommend his work to anyone and everyone looking. He was very considerate when I first reached out about his work and wanted to use him and was very mindful of his travel fees to fit in our budget.

Big fan of dive bars, staring at the stars, forever searching for the best french fries, a blissfully cold Diet Coke, and a true midwestern why fly it's only 15 hours. You'll find me often traveling, spending time in nature, collecting rocks and shopping for vintage t-shirts. I love carefree messy in between moments, photographing my daily life on polaroids and film. When I was in the throes of wedding planning over a year ago, I was reaching out to vendors and putting payments down for June 2, 2024, and was crossing my fingers my deployed fiancé would even be able to attend, thanks to his unpredictable schedule. Amidst the stress (and borderline panic attacks!!) I was having because of that, I was also receiving a lieu of impersonal emails with quotes from photographers. When I got the email back from Jessica, she was the only one who answered with excitement and personality, and gave me a sense that this was supposed to be FUN. All this wedding planning was a very lucky sort of stress, and she didn’t make me feel like I was just some box to check off in her inbox— she was personable and friendly, and I liked her immediately. For the course of the year, Jessica and I kept up with eachother with texts, messages, and Instagram— and I felt like she was already a friend when June arrived. Even after her 12 hour journey to Virginia, she was full of energy and ready to go. She helped adjust some coordination timelines and caught things that I otherwise wouldn’t have. She hung out with my rambunctious family all weekend, witnessing our love and laughter, WIDE range of personalities, and even some sisterly tiffs. Honestly, she whole-heartedly became part of our crew. She ran everything past me when it came to details. Duke and I are not people who are comfortable in front of a camera, and I LOVED having her specifically tell us what to do to look good, while still feeling incredibly relaxed and natural around her. Duke and I kept saying she had Jedi powers the way she was able to flip cameras, batteries and equipment seamlessly. I’m writing this while in the airport leaving our honeymoon, and not only did Duke and I, and our families fall in love with Jessica— I still have guests reaching out to me via text to tell me how they hit it off with her on their own, how impressed they were with her ethic, or how they loved pictures from our sneak peek (eeeek!) I am not a girl who naturally feels pretty or comfortable in front of a camera. Jessica gave me the gift of finally experiencing both of those things on our special day. I felt beautiful and at ease. She captured the bridal portraits that I hope my great grandkids will put in their family tree projects for school one day, some of Dukes family and mine meeting for the first time, friends dancing, and our grandparents mingling and giving us their love. Duke and I knew our big white wedding would be our one chance to have everyone we love in one place. We are well aware of the rarity in that, and the fact that we don’t have much longer with some of those people we love. We’re well aware that these are the photos Duke and I will be looking at with our grandchildren when we’re old and grey, thinking about “the good ol’ days.” These photos are all we will have left one day of the people we love so fiercely, and these versions of ourselves. We will endlessly be grateful for Jessica of her effort and the labor that went into photographing a weekend like ours. She captured every single aspect of us and those we love, and above all us, gave us the gift of memory. 3 Faith and Duke

Julie was our absolute favorite vendor for our wedding — she's amazing! From the very start, she was more than just our photographer, offering recommendations for other vendors and tips & tricks to make the wedding planning process easier for us, which was especially appreciated because we were planning it remotely. Her pricing is competitive and fair, and she truly took the time to get to know both me and my husband to ensure her photos captured our day and styles authentically. We added her husband, Will, as a second shooter, and they were both incredibly helpful and kind on the day. Even more importantly, the photos and physical photo album turned out beautiful (a good mix of candid & formal shots, which is exactly what we wanted). We're so grateful to have the album to look back on that helps us relive one of the best days of our lives. Thank you, Julie — can't wait to see you again at my best friend's wedding later this year!

Since I love to create and I love relationships, becoming a photographer came naturally. Given the privilege to capture your unique love story and wedding day is a responsibility I'm proud to take on. Couple’s trust me to capture their proudest day involving their closest friends and family. I truly feel like I have the best job in the world. Weddings are my specialty, getting my start in 2013. From shooting intimate elopements to 250+ guest weddings to being flown around to shoot destination weddings in places like Mexico, Canada, London and Hawaii, I’ve just about photographed it all. I can't wait to hear your story!

We first went with Weston because we loved his style of photography. But after meeting Weston, he turned out to be more than a photographer. He turned out to be an amazing friend. His communication was amazing. His pictures were even better. I can’t recommend Weston enough!

Hi! My name is Mae, and I live in Brooklyn with my girlfriend, our two dogs Apollo and Bia, her cat Gigi and my lizard, Basil! I’ve always been passionate about capturing moments as authentically and magically as possible, and as i’ve settled more into this career path, I love that i’ve landed in a place where I have the privilege to capture and preserve people’s love stories. Weddings and elopements are so distinctly and uniquely human, and it’s truly the biggest honor to be trusted to document them.

I came across Mae’s work when looking for a photographer for engagement photos in Central Park, and I was immediately impressed with Mae and knew we were going to be incredibly happy with the results. Mae responded immediately to all my questions, day or night, and took the time to video chat with me at length twice before the shoot to discuss what we were looking for in our photos. Before the shoot, I had sent her a few examples of what I liked, and not only did the photos come out exactly how I wanted them, but were even more perfect than I envisioned. The engagement shoot itself was so much fun, and Mae made us feel so comfortable throughout the entire process, despite us thinking we’d both feel awkward getting posed photos of us taken. Mae truly had a vision for what poses, locations, and lighting would work, and the execution was perfect. Some of the feedback we got from our friends was that the photos looked like a magazine, and that they were “ethereal.” Even better, Mae somehow got us the edited photos back within 24 hours of the shoot. Her pricing is also incredibly reasonable given the quality of her work, meticulousness, and experience in photography, as well as the very quick turnaround time. My fiance and I truly cannot recommend her enough, and we are excited to work with her again in the future. She is truly an artist, and any couple would be incredibly lucky to work with her!

Hire Lo. You won't regret it. Not only does she know what she is doing in terms of getting all the planned shots, she got incredible candid shots and live shots of my groom and I, our families, and our guests. As we've been looking back so far at our pictures, we get to relive the emotion of the day. It's the intangible thing that an incredible photographer can do--capture the emotion. I can feel our joy radiating out of our photos and I am so grateful I hired Lo. Years from now we are going to get to experience this day over-and-over because the quality of her photos is incredible. The variety of shots she was able to get makes it seem like she had second shooter (but she's just that good). Our first look was perfect. She made sure we got some golden hour shots and then got us right back to dinner so we could eat. She also is incredible at giving minor adjustment tips to make sure we weren't doing anything weird with our hands lol. Additionally, and this was big for me, working with her ahead of the wedding she reminded me how to be excited for this day. Wedding planning was stressful, but every time I got to talk to Lo she got me back to a place of being excited and joyful. The day-of when she showed up, she helped make sure we had everything covered, and kept me calm even when some things went wrong. I felt like I not only had a great photographer, but a friend who had my back and wanted to make sure my day went perfect. I am so glad we hired Lo. My groom teared up looking back at some of these photos. Hire Lo!
