“Theresa was in charge of making things go smoothly and took care of any problem that happened . She kept anything upsetting from the bride. She also kept things moving in an orderly manner. We never wondered what we were suppose to do . She kept us on task and took care of everything as it came. We weren’t aware of her getting the grounds mowed and when time came and it wasn’t. She took care of it. She seemed like family by be the end of the two days. She was such a nice person and so good at what she does. She was supportive, and paid attention to every detail. She used her china and glassware at the reception and it was gorgeous . She took a plain room and made it look beautiful. My favorite thing she did was make sure the pictures went smoothly and quickly. There was no wasted time at all. There wasn’t one thing that would keep me from hiring her again. The wedding was perfect. She was great. She was smart and on top of things. I would give her the highest of ratings.”

Hi! My name is Jess Hopkins, owner and founder of Say Yes With Jess Weddings. Say hello to your fun-loving, southern belle “fairy godmother.” Born just outside of beautiful Savannah, GA and raised in mountainesque Knoxville, TN, I have deep country roots and muddy water running through my veins. Growing up in such a magical setting made it quite easy to obsess over weddings. What can I say? I just LOVE love! However, it wasn’t until I moved to Nashville, TN in 2016 that I discovered my passion as a wedding planner. I started working as a lead planner with an event planning company and completely fell in love with the process.

“Jess not only met, but exceeded our expectations for a wedding planner! She was fantastic in helping us talk through and narrow down the vision for our wedding, and there was not a single detail she did not think of throughout the entire process. “Detail oriented” is an understatement to describe her abilities! There are so many elements that we never thought of prior to planning a wedding and Jess was prompt to take care of anything and everything that came our way! She always responded quickly to our questions and she remained diligent in making sure all vendors were accounted for, and kept us on schedule as we approached our date. While the day of a wedding is exciting, it can also be stressful and overwhelming. Jess did everything to make sure our wedding day was perfect, and even when things went wrong (which they will!) she handled it with so much grace we didn’t even know there was a problem to begin with. Jess was truly the best decision we made for our wedding and we could not recommend her enough!!”
