“PictureMeThisByLacie was one of the best decisions we made throughout the wedding process. Lacie was amazing to work with the entire time. She was easy to communicate with and kept us updated on our photo timelines, not to mention all of our photos turned about AMAZING. Our package included an engagement session and Lacie worked out a weekend she was already in Chicago to accommodate us. Leading up to our session, we had issues with controlled fires and protests in our preferred location, but Lacie found us a spot that blew my expectations for photos out of the water. She gave us a sneak peak and also got our pictures back to us super quick. On our big day, Lacie and Tim(her husband/second photographer) were the best to work with. They made us feel comfortable and captured our day better than we could have imagined. As soon as they got there, they got straight to work. Lacie got all the details and getting ready photos that I will cherish forever. Things were running behind the day of and they let us add on an hour to our contract the day of and pay at a later date. This ensured that we got dance floor photos and it was so worth it! Specifically getting pictures of my husband's grandmother in her 80s dancing with all her grandkids. We received a sneak peak very quickly and our whole (massive) gallery less than 2 months after the wedding. For as many photos as we got, this was a crazy quick turn around. On the day of the wedding, it felt like we were herding cats, but she remained professional and efficient. Even though we were running behind schedule with getting dressed, she managed to squeeze in a few dress shots and some first look photos. Grace remained patient even as some of our friends and family showed up late for photos! As we moved between locations, she made sure I was holding my dress in a way so that I wouldn’t fall on my face. She also helped my MOH bustle my dress after the ceremony (again, so I wouldn’t fall on my face). Grace was always cognizant of the lighting on location, and how it would affect photos. “Our goal for wedding photos was to be transported back to our wedding day - more of a storytelling style than formal portraits. Felisha totally nailed it, and somehow managed to capture some extra magic in there too. Leading up to the wedding, Felisha was great at helping us feel comfortable with her, and we’re usually camera shy! We felt like we made a new friend! We weren’t planning to do a “first look”, but after how much we loved our engagement photos we decided to add that element to our wedding day as an excuse to get more time with Felisha and have some more Amazing portraits. During the wedding, Felisha and her second shooter were totally professional and unobtrusive - we didn’t notice them doing their thing, and neither did our guests. She was fun to work with, super on top of everything, and the results speak for themselves. We’re already dreaming up other life events that we might want to have professionally photographed, as an excuse to work with her again!”
