“Hippie Bakez was amazing to work with for our wedding cake. They got back to us in plenty of time with all the details we needed, and the quality of their work was incredible. In fact, many of our guests thought the cake was actually ice cream it was so good! They were so amazing she was going to fix anything wrong as she thought something wasn’t right but it was actually some decoration things wrong the cake was perfect! Three weeks later, people are still raving about how delicious our wedding cake was - there was hardly any left after the reception! My husband said it tasted just like ice cream which was the first words he said after his first bite. I'm not much of a cake person myself, but I devoured as much as I could. We couldn't have asked for a better vendor to make our special day even sweeter. I can’t recommend hippie bakez enough if you want a cake to actually be ate go with these amazing people! “Valerie of Frosted Swirl was an absolute delight to work with while creating mine and Dylan’s dream sweetheart wedding cake and cupcakes! From the very beginning, she made the entire process feel exciting, easy, and so special. We started with a tasting box, and honestly… we wished we could have chosen every single flavor. Each cupcake was beautifully crafted and unbelievably delicious. We ultimately chose four flavors that perfectly complemented our November 1st wedding - Apple Cider Donut, Cannoli, Brownie Sundae, and Chocolate Raspberry. The Chocolate Raspberry was so incredible that we knew immediately it had to be our sweetheart cake flavor as well! Our cake was stunning! While our Red Velvet cake was absolutely delicious on the inside, and she added extra cookies to the cake after our follow-up consultation. We learned a tough lesson about deep-colored frosting. Cheryl warned us about the impacts of using heavy dye to achieve a burgundy exterior (as we wanted to avoid fondant), and we should have listened! The exterior ended up with a bit of a chemical taste and stained everything it touched. Take our advice: Cheryl knows her stuff! If she makes a suggestion on color or texture, trust her expertise—you’ll be in great hands. Aside from our own misunderstanding, the service and cake quality were wonderful.”

“Amy was an absolute joy to work with! Because my husband is Peruvian American, we really wanted to have a dessert table at our reception (a Peruvian wedding tradition). We spent months trying to figure out how to make it happen without success when, miraculously, we stumbled upon Twin Treats on Zola. We reached out to Amy, who responded within hours. We were in Nashville for the weekend for wedding planning, and Amy threw together a tasting box for us with barely any notice. Every single dessert we sampled was scrumptious - it was difficult to choose only a handful for our wedding reception! For the big day, Amy went above and beyond, even learning how to make a traditional Peruvian cookie (the "alfajor") for the dessert table. She totally understood our vision for our wedding cake, too. “Blush Whisk is the best possible choice for your wedding dessert needs! Bermarie was so helpful in determining how much cake we needed and worked with us to make sure we fit everything we wanted into our budget. We selected delivery, and Blush Whisk made sure our cake was at the venue in the appropriate place and time despite some lack of communication from our wedding venue. They went out of their way to create a custom combo for us, and of course, the cake tasted so so good! We got so many compliments! We showed Blush Whisk photos on Pinterest of what we wanted, and they copied it exactly. We ordered a geode cake since our venue was the Perot Museum of Nature & Science, and it was so beautiful! We could not be more grateful for the services provided!! Thank you Bermarie, you're so talented, and we can't wait to stop by the shop when we're back in the DFW area!
