First of all - the end product was just beautiful. Everything from the bridal bouquet to the ceremony flowers to the table styling was exquisite and super unique. Shannon did a great job incorporating my favorite color (yellow) and a whimsical, organic wildness into the design exactly as I had hoped. From our first meeting to the written proposal, Shannon interpreted my thoughts and ideas exactly. I was so impressed that she took my ramblings and half ideas and pulled them together into what I was seeing in my head. Shannon’s GORGEOUS color palette informed the entire wedding design and gave me a jumping off point for invitations, bridesmaid dresses, other decor, etc. Unfortunately, the process of working with Shannon was a bit challenging. She struggled with nailing down details: incorrect number of tables, inconsistent accounting of candles/bud vases, etc. It took a number of incorrect proposal drafts until we got it right - just weeks before the wedding. We were honestly quite disappointed by Shannon’s flexibility and communication. She self-describes as being highly collaborative, but that was not our experience. First, as beer nerds, having hops in the design was super important to us, and while she flagged early on it could be an issue to source real ones, we discussed using fake. While we all agreed that she shouldn’t use fake hops if they looked bad, we were sad to see on the day of that they didn’t make it into the design. It would have been nice to have heard a heads up from her that she didn’t plan to use them - even if it was just a brief mention on the day-of. Second, when our cake plans fell through at the last minute, we asked Shannon if she could possibly supply a few flowers for our small 6” cutting cake. She told us she would try, but later we heard from the bakery that she had given them a flat no. She never communicated her decision to us. Thankfully, the bakery pulled something together for us (shout out to Zest Pastry!). Third, the Monday before the wedding, Shannon sent an alarming email with the subject line “Head Advisory, Oh No!”, asking us what our plan was. Getting any email titled “Oh No” isn’t fun to receive less than a week before your wedding. Further, as a trusted wedding vendor, we would hope that she would have plans for weather or unexpected events rather than looking to us during a very stressful period. Lastly, (and most disappointingly) despite having a run of day schedule, Shannon was nowhere to be found when it was time to put on boutonnieres and corsages. Our photographers and party thankfully jumped in to help to avoid major delays to portraits (shout out to Katie Slater!). Fundamentally, the product Shannon provided was beyond compare - everything was beautiful. That said, the communication, coordination, and organization were lacking from our experience.

Sweet Blooming was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding flowers. From our very first conversation, their communication was clear, responsive and incredibly helpful as we worked to bring our vision to life. The quality of their work was simply stunning - the gorgeous flower arch they coordinated with our planners to set up for our ceremony was breathtaking, and they used the leftover ceremony flowers and bridesmaid bouquets to create beautiful centerpieces that perfectly complemented our reception decor. Sweet Blooming also provided great suggestions to help us make our floral vision a reality. Sage & Sonder Events and Design
Rating: 5.0 (2 reviews)
  • Serves Greenwich, CT

I've always been the creative, organized type—planning corporate events, alumni reunions, or special gatherings for loved ones. Years ago, I planned my own backyard wedding in under three months. The day before, disaster struck—a storm took down my tents, my fiancé broke his foot, and my dad had a concussion. After a long day in the ER, I was back arranging flowers and setting up decor. Despite the chaos, the wedding was beautiful. That day taught me this: every couple deserves to enjoy their moment without stress. That’s why I’m here—to bring your vision to life, beautifully and effortlessly.

Sage & Sonder is one of the best in the business! The owner is very caring and very thorough with her work. She makes sure you get what you want and is done to it's best potential. If you have any events, whether its birthday parties, weddings, seminars, ANYTHING that could require a decorated scene, Sage & Sonder is the business to call! They made the most beautiful center pieces, balloon arches/gardens, you could ever ask for! :D

The team was willing to work with us and make any necessary tweaks prior to the big day to ensure the arrangements were exactly what we had in mind -- flowers were such a big part of our particular vision and anything on the initial proposal that didn't feel 100% right they came back with really strong communication that helped connect everything perfectly! On the wedding day, the florals were stunning and received so many compliments from our guests and Laney was so lovely and gave me multiple options for my bridal bouquet! They even ended up getting the pillars I had originally liked and added them into their inventory. They were so flexible and really helped guide us through the process.

Floral Designs by Melissa LLC
Rating: 5.0 (1 review)
  • Starts at $6,000
  • Serves Greenwich, CT

At the age of 15 I began taking horticulture & floral design classes & fell in love with all aspects of floral design from that moment on. I feel that I am truly lucky to be one of the few people out there who found my true passion in life so early. Nearly 20 years later I still feel the same excitement & love I always have for being a floral designer. My love for what I do is how I am able to meet my goal of exceeding the expectations of each & every individual that I work with. There is not one style or budget that each person should have to conform to for their floral needs & desires to be beautiful.

I wish to give the highest praise to Melissa for creating the floral design of my daughter’s dreams! The gorgeous bouquets, table centerpieces and bud vase arrangements were outstanding. We were so pleased with the quality of the flowers along with her amazing ability to bring the complete vision to life!

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers
Rating: 4.9 (78 reviews)
  • Starts at $350
  • Serves Greenwich, CT

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Awarded Best of Zola
I used flower moxie to do my florals for my wedding. Overall, I had a great experience. I completed a consult that helped me select the correct florals for my event, quantities, and recipes for my creations. The flowers were delayed by 1 day in delivery, and the delphinium were not able to be used. After sending a picture to flower moxie, they provided a full refund for that flower. The videos were helpful for the prep and my wedding party helped me build arrangements. It was a fun event for everyone to do together. I would highly recommend the consult!

The granddaughter of two gardeners, I have always felt a connection to the earth through the soil. When someone brings flowers into a room, something changes...an energy, an excitement! I love being able to bring that kind of beauty into peoples lives. I'm a small-town girl who enjoys anything that involves working with my hands from cooking to knitting. I'm a total animal lover (partial to dogs), a die-hard Grey's Anatomy fan, and I take my martinis extra dirty. When I'm not flowering in our studio in Milford, Connecticut, I'm mommin' to three amazing little boys (our dog Pippa and cat, Galaxy).

She was also incredibly flexible, making last-minute changes to our order the month before the wedding without any issues. The setup and overall design was absolutely beautiful - especially our ceremony arch! I would highly recommend Fountainhead Floral Design to any couple looking for a reliable, talented, and customer-focused wedding florist!

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

The Faux Bouquets was a wonderful florist to work with for our wedding. From the very first interaction, their communication was prompt, clear, and friendly. They walked us through the process seamlessly and the quality of their work was excellent. The bouquets, boutonnières, garlands with clip on flowers, and centerpieces had an authentic, natural look despite being faux flowers. Pricing is transparent and affordable, making it an easy decision to choose Faux Bouquets. The bright spring colors in the Garden Vibrance collection were beautiful, annd a perfect fit for our late May wedding. The order arrived with ample lead time prior to the wedding day. Additionally, the packaging was excellent, and their return shipment process is very simple and easy to follow. We highly recommend The Faux Bouquets to any couple planning their wedding.

We used Glitzed Events for our wedding florals and they did a fantastic job! Nicole went above and beyond before we even chatted on the phone, quickly putting together a concept board of the wedding florals just from a Pinterest board I had sent. It was exactly what I was envisioning and I knew I wanted to work with her simply by her going the extra mile from day one. When we did have the initial conversation, Nicole took her time getting to know us and our style, and explained her whole process and answered any questions we had. She helped us stay within our budget while still providing high quality, creative and beautiful florals. The day of the wedding, Nicole hand delivered the personal florals and showed us the correct ways to hold the bouquets. Everyone was complimenting how beautiful and elegant the flowers were, and how well they tied together the entire wedding vision. I would 100% recommend Nicole and Glitzed Events!

Tracy is amazing!!! Our wedding flowers were absolutely stunning, and she made the whole process so easy and fun. She was incredibly attentive and detail-oriented, taking the time to really understand my vision, hopping on multiple calls, and even coming for a site visit. She brought my vision to life in a way that fit flawlessly with our overall design. What really stood out was how thoughtful she was about incorporating family heirlooms and relics, something that was a focal point in our wedding. She found the most beautiful ways to repurpose old vases, barrels, pots, and more into the arrangements, which made everything feel so personal and meaningful. Tracy was such a joy to work with.
