They were, hands down, the most delicious cupcakes and cake we’ve ever had — and we weren’t the only ones who thought so! Not a single cupcake was left by the end of the night. Everything was beautifully done, and the owner went above and beyond every step of the way. She guided us through tasting samples and consultation calls with so much care, always staying considerate of our needs, making customizations, and advising us exactly where necessary. While our Red Velvet cake was absolutely delicious on the inside, and she added extra cookies to the cake after our follow-up consultation. We learned a tough lesson about deep-colored frosting. Cheryl warned us about the impacts of using heavy dye to achieve a burgundy exterior (as we wanted to avoid fondant), and we should have listened! The exterior ended up with a bit of a chemical taste and stained everything it touched. Take our advice: Cheryl knows her stuff! If she makes a suggestion on color or texture, trust her expertise—you’ll be in great hands. Aside from our own misunderstanding, the service and cake quality were wonderful.”

“Amy was an absolute joy to work with! Because my husband is Peruvian American, we really wanted to have a dessert table at our reception (a Peruvian wedding tradition). We spent months trying to figure out how to make it happen without success when, miraculously, we stumbled upon Twin Treats on Zola. We reached out to Amy, who responded within hours. We were in Nashville for the weekend for wedding planning, and Amy threw together a tasting box for us with barely any notice. My husband and I went into our tasting literally saying, “I don’t know why people love red velvet cake that much,” and left saying it was the best cake we’ve ever tried — so much so that we chose it as one of our wedding cake flavors. The cake was one of the most important parts of our wedding for me, so I prioritized finding the most delicious cake in LA, and Juries completely delivered. She was so thoughtful, knowledgeable, and genuinely excited to bring my vision to life. She even offered creative styling ideas that made the design feel elevated and unique. We ended up with a two-tier lemon cake with vanilla buttercream, lemon curd, and fresh berries, plus a red velvet sheet cake — both were absolute hits. “I sent Crystal this photo and I was a bit nervous at first about how they'd be able to make this happen but honestly I am so happy with how this came out it really was absolutely beautiful. I wasn't able to meet her in person with everything going on but she dropped it off for us on time and my coordinator was great in getting everything set up and presented. A few blueberries fell off during handling but considering how detailed and intricate the cake was I am so beyond thrilled at how this came out. I really don't often ask for perfection but with how this came out it's really right up there being perfect. If I find any better photos I will absolutely update this post with them. The venue itself was an absolute disaster but it was great having all those excessive blueberries everywhere it really made a mess and watching them clean it all up later was just fantastic. I'm not even sure if it's on their regular menu but I asked them to do a lemon cake with a blueberry compote inside (I have no idea what that means but my now wife had me asking for that) and the flavors and taste of the cake were just beyond extraordinary. They also made and brought a smaller mint chocolate cake to accommodate some allergies we had in the family and one bite my breath was smelling good all night! Thank you so much for everything I will definitely have you guys doing more in the future!”

Bermarie was so helpful in determining how much cake we needed and worked with us to make sure we fit everything we wanted into our budget. We selected delivery, and Blush Whisk made sure our cake was at the venue in the appropriate place and time despite some lack of communication from our wedding venue. They went out of their way to create a custom combo for us, and of course, the cake tasted so so good! We got so many compliments! We showed Blush Whisk photos on Pinterest of what we wanted, and they copied it exactly. We ordered a geode cake since our venue was the Perot Museum of Nature & Science, and it was so beautiful!
