“Hippie Bakez was amazing to work with for our wedding cake. They got back to us in plenty of time with all the details we needed, and the quality of their work was incredible. In fact, many of our guests thought the cake was actually ice cream it was so good! They were so amazing she was going to fix anything wrong as she thought something wasn’t right but it was actually some decoration things wrong the cake was perfect! Three weeks later, people are still raving about how delicious our wedding cake was - there was hardly any left after the reception! My husband said it tasted just like ice cream which was the first words he said after his first bite. I'm not much of a cake person myself, but I devoured as much as I could. We couldn't have asked for a better vendor to make our special day even sweeter. I can’t recommend hippie bakez enough if you want a cake to actually be ate go with these amazing people! “We would recommend Barnett Suites time and time again for any occasion! The pricing was extremely fair and after our wedding cake tasting I could not WAIT until wedding day to get some more bites. We had 165 people at our wedding and had ordered 450 mini cupcakes along with other desserts and people were grabbing them by the handfuls before our exit. Thankfully our planner also grabbed me and my husband a few to snack on later in the night because they all ended up getting grabbed. We opted for a simple design on a faux cake with two slices in it for the cutting and it worked out perfectly. Highlyy recommend!”

She guided us through tasting samples and consultation calls with so much care, always staying considerate of our needs, making customizations, and advising us exactly where necessary. While our Red Velvet cake was absolutely delicious on the inside, and she added extra cookies to the cake after our follow-up consultation. We learned a tough lesson about deep-colored frosting. Cheryl warned us about the impacts of using heavy dye to achieve a burgundy exterior (as we wanted to avoid fondant), and we should have listened! The exterior ended up with a bit of a chemical taste and stained everything it touched. Take our advice: Cheryl knows her stuff! If she makes a suggestion on color or texture, trust her expertise—you’ll be in great hands. Aside from our own misunderstanding, the service and cake quality were wonderful.”

“Amy was an absolute joy to work with! Because my husband is Peruvian American, we really wanted to have a dessert table at our reception (a Peruvian wedding tradition). We spent months trying to figure out how to make it happen without success when, miraculously, we stumbled upon Twin Treats on Zola. We reached out to Amy, who responded within hours. We were in Nashville for the weekend for wedding planning, and Amy threw together a tasting box for us with barely any notice. Every single dessert we sampled was scrumptious - it was difficult to choose only a handful for our wedding reception! For the big day, Amy went above and beyond, even learning how to make a traditional Peruvian cookie (the "alfajor") for the dessert table. She totally understood our vision for our wedding cake, too.
