Lindsay with Mostest was AMAZING! She helped us tremendously when the event planner for the Charleston Princess quit just a few weeks before my daughter’s wedding. There were many obstacles to navigate including not being able to board the vessel to set up and decorate until 2 hours before guests would begin boarding. Lindsay single handedly transported a car load of personalized details, decorations, party favors, bar items, extra linens, numerous picture frames and a huge Charleston Harbor nautical chart that served as the guest book. She had to take several trips from her car down a very long pier to get to the boat and set it all up in such a short time span. She managed it all beautifully! The timeline she created was amazing and we were actually a bit ahead of schedule prior to the ceremony. This gave us all some time to relax while sweet Lindsay was preparing for all of our guests to arrive. After the reception, Lindsay stayed on board and began packing up all of our special items carefully. We returned to the vessel after sending the bride and groom off, to find that she had managed to pack most of our items without our help. I can’t say enough about all that she did for us, especially with all of the hiccups and stresses we faced the last few weeks. She handled everything with such grace and poise! This MOB was quite stressed with the adversity we were facing that was out of our control and Lindsay smoothed everything out!! I can’t say enough about her!! I'm obsessed with Charlene! She was a dream to work with. She brought such professionalism to our hectic event. We were planning a wedding at a personal property, meaning we had to supply every single vendor and she handled everything amazingly. She wrangled the vendors prior to the day of and she helped me keep my cool during the stress of the morning. You can tell she's a pro at this! There were times I felt a little underwater in terms of managing an event I had no experience with, and her demeanor was so calming and she handled any last minute things. She also helped with some post-wedding issues even though she could have wiped her hands and been done with the event day of. I've already told multiple people in her area to book her immediately.

I could not have asked for a smoother wedding day. When we first decided to have our ceremony and reception at two separate locations, and eventually realized we would be working with around ten different vendors, I didn’t fully understand how essential an experienced day-of coordinator would be until late in the planning process. Looking back, I’m so grateful I had the foresight to book with MB Events. I worked with Caroline, and she was truly my rock on our wedding day. She communicated clearly and consistently and brought such a calm, genuine presence that immediately put me at ease. We had a few last-minute changes with some guests who were unable to attend while another one was added at the last minute. Caroline handled everything by coordinated directly with the venue to remove chairs and add name cards without needing any prompting from me. I was extremely stressed leading up to the wedding, but in hindsight, I really didn’t need to be. Caroline had everything completely under control! We met four times before the wedding: an initial Zoom meeting, another Zoom call about three months out to review the timeline and vendors, a venue walkthrough, and the rehearsal. She was incredibly detail-oriented and always thoughtful in her approach. It was so helpful to have a professional to bounce ideas off of, and she often raised considerations I hadn’t even thought of. I truly felt like she was my safety net throughout the process. Caroline planned everything down to the minute while remaining flexible and when changes came up. I never once felt rushed, and I appreciated how down-to-earth and approachable she was. Our wedding day came together so well, and I genuinely believe MB Events was the cornerstone that made it all happen.

Having had a strong passion for events, she jumped at the opportunity and coordinated her first wedding in August 2019. Her love for wedding planning has only continued to grow over the years, helping dozens of brides have the wedding they have always dreamed of while growing a team of wedding professionals to help her do so.

You will be so happy you hired MK Your Dream Day to make sure your wedding weekend goes seamlessly. We interviewed 4-5 wedding planner candidates and chose Mary Kate and her team because they offered a final 60 days package that was perfect for what we needed (we had already hired almost all of our wedding weekend vendors). By the time our big weekend arrived, we didn’t have to make any decisions about logistics, we were just able to be fully present and enjoy everything. We were thrilled to have Nicole as our primary planner. She is on top of everything. What stood out was Nicole’s proactive attention to detail. As our wedding day approached, she kept thinking of little details about our wedding to address that we would never have thought of. In their very helpful wedding portal, we were able to view a draft timeline of our wedding weekend more than six weeks out. Seeing the weekend laid out in detail well in advance minimized any potential stress we might have otherwise had. In addition to planning and executing the wedding day, Nicole also managed our rehearsal dinner with setup, vendor management, some cleanup so that our family didn’t have to do a thing and could just enjoy the event. On our wedding day, Nicole was accompanied by two assistants who made sure we had everything we needed throughout the getting ready hours, first look, photos, the ceremony, and the reception. The whole team was clearly on the same page and coordinating with each other behind the scenes. Nicole and Mary Kate were amazing to work with and we enjoyed spending time with them leading up to and on our wedding weekend. They came down to our rehearsal dinner venue, ceremony space, and reception venue for a 60-minute site visit and courteously spent two full hours with us making sure every detail and logistic was covered, in addition to ensuring our parents didn’t have to lift a finger when it came to executing the rehearsal dinner in their backyard. Nicole excelled at solving complex problems, like when our bus company went AWOL and we needed to add another bus for our big day. She relentlessly tracked down the right person and secured our second bus, then worked through our complicated itinerary and bus schedule to get everyone where they needed to go.

The guests raved about the whole experience, and as far as I know literally nothing went wrong, and if it did, Sara handled it like a pro because I never found out! To put it simply, Linnea and her team are the best. Growing up in Massachusetts, I knew this is where we wanted to get married, however we were planning from out of state and needed someone with feet on the ground. From our first introductory phone call, we were confident Linnea not only had years of wedding planning experience, but she knew everything (and everyone) there was to know about weddings in Boston. Linnea answered all our emails, calls, messages promptly and she anticipated things before I could even ask. She easily and quickly set up meetings for us with our vendors. Even when I questioned some of our own choices of having a small wedding, she constantly reassured us that this was our day to enjoy! We valued her opinion on venues and vendors, and trusted who she had worked with. If Linnea said a vendor was great, we knew she meant it. In fact, she helped us choose one of the most beautiful venues (Boston Harbor Hotel) for our small, intimate, summer wedding. I had always expected the wedding planning process to be chaotic, stressful, and anxiety provoking, but with Linnea on our team I literally could not have been more calm. On the day of, I was able to enjoy myself and savor the moments, I did not have to worry about a single thing! The day was beyond perfection. We still have guests commenting that it was the best wedding they had ever been to! I am forever grateful for Linnea, and if you are considering a wedding planner - hurry up and get her on your team! Taysia was the absolute best and a pleasure to work with! From the beginning on our first intro call, her calm presence and professionalism really shined. Knowing we would be working so closely with whomever we chose as our wedding planner, we knew these qualities were key and we felt confident that Taysia would be someone who would show up for us and handle all of our questions through this process. Taysia was thorough with all of her vendor research and recommendations, and walked us through a multitude of options that accommodated what really mattered to us and stayed within our budget. Even outside of our regular check-in calls, Taysia was always open and available to talk through any roadblocks or questions - she really cares about the couples she works with. Taysia made sure that if we were feeling stressed or nervous about anything, she came up with a plan of action and always grounded us. Taysia handled all the key vendor meetings and logistics leading up to and on the wedding day, She worked seamlessly with the onsite coordinator at our venue and kept everything on track from the ceremony to our reception. We had 170 guests and a handful of family traditions throughout the day - even if something didn't go exactly to plan, we truthfully had no idea. That's a true testament to the work Taysia put in behind the scenes to make sure we could be present and truly enjoy our wedding day without having to worry about anything. To this day we still get compliments from our family about Taysia and how smoothly our wedding day went. We couldn't recommend Taysia more as a wedding planner and would greatly welcome the opportunity to work with her again for other events.

Sabrina's services kept us organized and on track with everything we needed to do. She checked in with us every month leading up to the wedding and was always available for any calls or emails. Extremely responsive. She had so much knowledge and first hand experience with different vendors in the area that she made our lives sooo much easier in booking the remaining vendors we needed. She also put together our decor Inspo and she was SPOT ON! And she brought it to life the day of the wedding! Sabrina also handled our timelines which we would not have had the bandwidth to put together that last 1-2 months before the wedding as we were already stressed enough.
