“Julie was such a pleasure to work with as our Custom Design Blueprint Designer, funny story actually we were about to be paired up with someone else and Julie sent a message explaining her background and how it fit PERFECTLY with what we were looking for for our wedding! Julie was super attentive and completely understood exactly our vision for our wedding day and I feel like we were only 5 minutes into our meeting! She is super responsive and has a great eye for detail, we wouldn't have had a complete wedding vision without her. She had a quick turn around with a pinterest board and when we went through it together I was gasping the whole time!! “It is not unusual for wedding planning to begin more than a year in advance of your big day. Venue, flowers, decor, churches (bring your own priest which is a thing), engagement photos, DJ, wedding party, save the dates, invitations. The list DOES. NOT. STOP. With all of these moving parts it really makes you wonder how such a complex event can happen without the slightest issue and seemingly end before you know it. Well, Liv is our reason. After months of planning, and picking, and choosing, and changing, and scrapping ideas our bandwidth for creativity and follow-through was wearing thin. Liv saved the day. She seamlessly coordinated communications between all parties and vendors to ensure that everyone was on the same page. I will honestly say that without her our day would not have come together like it did. Everyone tells you that something will inevitably go wrong regardless of how thorough your planning. Liv didn’t let that happen. The groomsmen forgot tie clips. Liv ran 5 blocks to pick up tie clips for the boys and was back before the girls even arrived at the church. Her foresight and planning were impressive but her ability to think and adjust on the fly is what made our day go off with zero issues. We cannot thank Liv enough for her help. “I could not have asked for a smoother wedding day. When we first decided to have our ceremony and reception at two separate locations, and eventually realized we would be working with around ten different vendors, I didn’t fully understand how essential an experienced day-of coordinator would be until late in the planning process. Looking back, I’m so grateful I had the foresight to book with MB Events. I worked with Caroline, and she was truly my rock on our wedding day. She communicated clearly and consistently and brought such a calm, genuine presence that immediately put me at ease. We had a few last-minute changes with some guests who were unable to attend while another one was added at the last minute. Caroline handled everything by coordinated directly with the venue to remove chairs and add name cards without needing any prompting from me. I was extremely stressed leading up to the wedding, but in hindsight, I really didn’t need to be. Caroline had everything completely under control! We met four times before the wedding: an initial Zoom meeting, another Zoom call about three months out to review the timeline and vendors, a venue walkthrough, and the rehearsal. She was incredibly detail-oriented and always thoughtful in her approach. It was so helpful to have a professional to bounce ideas off of, and she often raised considerations I hadn’t even thought of. I truly felt like she was my safety net throughout the process. “I thought I (ALL CAPS THERE!) was a perfectionist until I met Allie LeBon. If you're thinking "is this worth it?" or "do I really need a planner?" or even, "I can do this all myself." ...you maaaybe can, but if you want your day to be utterly spectacular - hire Allie. I can't stress enough the importance of hiring someone like her. Our entire day was magic because of her and her CityLux team. We started out our journey with a clear goal, but it all felt a bit daunting. Allie was with us from start to finish (top to bottom planning and day-of!) and made every step along the way incredible. She was prompt, professional, honest, and kind. It's hard to find vendors that are as "on their game." There were times that we were completely at a loss for what was next and she always communicated with clarity so we felt comfortable and prepared to make decisions. There were sooooo many details only she could have thought of. Just when you think you have it figured out, there are 3 more things Allie was thinking of. I constantly said, "oh wow.. I didnt even think of that." Like coordinating bus routes and timing that out... no thank you! We felt like it was all under control because of her meticulous documentation, flawless communication with our other vendors, and emergency plans she put in motion behind the scenes. MOST importantly, she makes sure you can focus on your day and nothing else. From the napkins, to the placecards, to our grass wall, to our place settings, to the drink signs, and everything else in between, it was all so complete and I wouldn't have changed a thing. Not to mention, she professionally vetoed some of our ideas, and finding someone who knows what's realistic and what's not is hard to find. I've recommended her to ALL my friends and every time I get rave reviews. Don't go it alone throughout this process. Go with Allie and go with CityLux! PS: The picture you see with our reaction was exactly the moment we saw our vision come to life at the reception. Speechless.”

In fact, she helped us choose one of the most beautiful venues (Boston Harbor Hotel) for our small, intimate, summer wedding. On the day of, I was able to enjoy myself and savor the moments, I did not have to worry about a single thing! The day was beyond perfection. “Molly was the event planner for our son's outdoor wedding at a rural location. It came off without any snags. She brought in wonderful, reliable vendors -- the caterer set up an outdoor kitchen; the tents were put up and taken down smoothly; there were all kinds of outdoor games; there were golf carts to help folks get around, and she had an excellent day-of person. Everything was so well coordinated. She even had contingency supplies arranged in case of rain, but luckily the day was dry. We were impressed, and we got to have a worry-free day.”
