We're a married (to each other) pair of photographers in Portland, Maine - Will and Lucia are our names. We've been shooting weddings together for almost 20 years, and we've got a showroom where you can browse dozens of albums, or an online gallery of hundreds of weddings. Will's images have stronger direction and more impactful lighting, and Lucia's images are softer in feeling and capture candid moments. Having both of us at your wedding is truly getting two different photography styles - the best of both worlds.

The 2022 wedding season marks my 10th year photographing weddings - in Maine, New England, and beyond. I love making my couples feel comfortable and beautiful, and I love thoughtfully planned weddings with attention to detail. I bring experience, passion, and artistry to the weddings I photograph. My style of imagery is photojournalistic in nature with a fine art aesthetic. I love natural light, and I love to shoot with film. Love is everywhere. I love to document it.

Nostalgia drove me into photography at an early age - and lead me into my studies of photojournalism. We all innately know when we're at a critical juncture in our lives. For me, being able to authentically capture, to preserve those moments in a photograph is such a privilege. I know how much it means to me to be able to look back and say 'this is how things actually happened.' There is beauty in those truths. The kind of folks I work with share that appreciation.

Every weekend you'll find me oohing over a wedding dress, and holding my breath for the first moment the groom sees the bride. The wedding style I like the most is candid, but I definitely don't mind posing a nervous couple, or arranging that perfect artistic shot before the light changes. I am patient, calm, and encouraging... I think I get along with everyone... I'm like the nerdy extra bridesmaid with a really killer camera.
