Bovara Studios is a wedding filmmaking company led by Annie Hoeben that specializes in authentic + romantic wedding films. Pairing cinematic artistry with a documentary feel, your final film will bring out the full range of emotion your day, ensuring your wedding film feels as personal as your story together. Based in North Carolina, available wherever your love takes us.
"How did it feel to be there on your wedding day?" That's our style. Annie and her team aim to craft a film that not only lets you see your wedding day, but encapsulates how it felt to be there. Annie has been filming love stories since 2018, using a documentary and artistic approach to tell the story of each wedding day. She focuses on the personal details and moments that make each celebration one-of-a-kind. With a deep passion for capturing genuine emotions and authenticity, she strives to create imaginative and romantic films that resonate with the individual essence of each couple.

Annie is a light to work with!
If you think a videographer is something you don’t need for your wedding, I implore you to think again. During your wedding day you can only be in one place at a time and only talk to so many people at once. There are moments during the day you’ll forget about, and that’s where Annie steps in. She captured moments I didn’t even realize were happening! Even just watching the preview video was enough to immediately bring me to tears. It’s not everyday that you get to live your fairytale dream but with Annie, you get the opportunity to watch it over and over again. She really takes into account your preferences and works with you to ensure that in your video you and your loved ones shine.

Annie was such a pleasure to work with and the quality of her work speaks for itself! She was so professional, kind, and communicative. Annie provided a few opportunities to meet before our wedding day to get to know each other better, discuss details, and ask any questions. She is truly an artist with a keen eye for details and small moments, and her videography style provided such an intimate view into the day. Incredible wedding videos
Annie/Bovara Studios did incredible work on our wedding videos!
