The Reception Center by Mayer Catering is a family-owned venue that specializes in outstanding cuisine and excellent service. The Reception Center by Mayer Catering draws on three generations and over 40 years of culinary and event planning experience. This team tends to only one wedding at a time so that you can feel confident that they will give you and your important day their full attention. The Reception Center by Mayer Catering team offers hospitality and luxury for your wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Their wedding packages include the services of a wedding coordinator, maitre d', and suite attendant to help your day proceed seamlessly. Tables will be adorned with floor-length ivory linens with your choice of napkin color and overlay and beautiful silk centerpieces.

perfect wedding
I can’t even put into words how incredible this place was for our wedding. From day 1 up until our wedding day, this venue - especially Marybeth - has been absolutely fantastic. The communication was extremely easy, helpful at all times, and just always comforting and supportive vibes all around! You can tell they really care about their customers, and want to help make your special day the absolute best. Apart from all that the food is AMAZING, our guests all raved about it for days after our wedding. The way they set up for the ceremony all the way through reception was beautiful and timely. The packages they offer for weddings are also so great and they give you so many options to personalize what’s best for you. Centerpieces and uplighting being included in our package was a huge win and an extremely generous addition. Also want to shout out our bridal attendant deb and maitre d as they were such phenomenal women. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. Thank you to all at the reception center that made my wedding day a dream come true. 10/10 recommend!

Perfect Wedding
From start to finish, the Reception Center did everything right. There was always quick communication from Marybeth whenever we had any questions. They were extremely accommodating with any ask we had. The venue itself had everything we could have asked for, the outdoor courtyard, the large cocktail hour area, and the beautiful reception area. People couldn't stop talking about how good the food was, and the servers were outstanding as well. Couldn't recommend this venue enough.

Amazing place, amazing night!!!
I can't say enough things about The Reception Center and their team!!! We had such a fabulous time at our own wedding and we owe it all to Marybeth and her staff. The staff is incredible. So attentive, made sure everything was perfect. It all went better and smoother than I could have ever imagined. From start to finish, the planning process, communication, help with finding vendors, dealing with last minute requests from us with a smile and a YES. Everyone who attended said the food was incredible (I wish I had eaten more, I wouldn’t have eaten at all most likely had it not been for the staff! They made me a plate and made me sit for 5 minutes and eat something, so grateful to them for that!) We had such an unbelievable time at our own wedding because we never had to think of a thing once it got started! This place is amazing and the most reasonably priced place we found to boot. They could easily charge more and it would still be worth it. I can't thank them enough for giving us such an extraordinary evening through all of their hard work. It was an amazing night and they made it happen! We thank them from the bottom of our hearts.

Highly Recommend!
From the very start of our wedding planning, Marybeth made everything so much less stressful. She was always willing to answer any and all questions. She is extremely knowledgeable! On the day of our wedding, Marybeth was there to check in with us to make sure everything was going just as planned. We highly recommend the Reception Center for a wedding because it is a beautiful venue and all of the staff are extremely kind and helpful!
