I’m Dolores, owner of You So Fancy Events. I specialize in Wedding Coordination (also known as Wedding Management or Day-of Coordination), stepping in during the final stages of planning to make sure everything comes together smoothly. Many couples plan their wedding themselves but want someone experienced to manage the timeline, vendors, and behind-the-scenes details on the wedding day. My role is to organize those moving parts, communicate with your vendors, and keep everything running according to plan so you can be fully present and enjoy the celebration you’ve worked so hard to create.

In the final weeks before a wedding, I take the time to really understand what my couples are feeling stressed or worried about so I can help ease those concerns before the big day arrives. Every couple plans differently, and every wedding has its own priorities. I ask questions, listen closely, and step in where support is needed most so the final planning weeks feel more manageable and the wedding day itself feels calm, organized, and enjoyable.

We will start meeting a month before your wedding to make sure we have a clear understanding of what you want and manage the day to make sure all those small details come to life!

    We're so thankful for Dolores!

    Dolores was phenomenal, and we could not recommend her more highly for the work she did planning our wedding. Her attitude throughout the process was excellent: she evidenced repeatedly by her actions that she cared about us, and what we were trying to accomplish. Dolores successfully took a lot of the stress out of the planning. She was extremely accessible, had great suggestions, and more than anything else was pleasant and professional to be around. Hopefully we'll have another event where we get to work with her in the future!

    Review for Dolores, Our Day-of Wedding Planner

    We first met Dolores at one of the bridal expos in Los Angeles, and from the start, her experience and vibrant personality stood out. She was direct, knowledgeable, and genuinely excited about helping us bring our wedding vision to life. On the day of our wedding, Dolores was an absolute rockstar. She handled all vendor coordination and communication seamlessly. When my husband and I arrived at the venue for the first time, we were absolutely in awe—it was everything I had envisioned as a detail-oriented bride, executed perfectly down to the smallest detail. Dolores kept the entire day on schedule without ever feeling pushy. She ensured that our vendors stayed organized behind the scenes, creating a seamless and enjoyable experience for our guests. She was incredibly flexible, accommodating multiple vendor calls and walkthroughs leading up to the big day. On the day of, she brought along an assistant, and together, they worked tirelessly to bring our dream wedding to life. Dolores was the first to arrive at the venue and the last to leave. She hustled all day, led the final walkthrough, and ensured everything ran smoothly from start to finish. She even took the time to ask about unique family dynamics ahead of time to ensure a stress-free day while remaining respectful and professional. Not only was she incredibly experienced, but she was also affordable—especially compared to many other planners we’d received quotes from. Thanks to Dolores, we truly had the most perfect day, and we can’t recommend her enough to future couples looking for a planner who will go above and beyond to make their wedding unforgettable!     My life line!

    Dolores was my life line! My rock! I would recommend her to anyone with a pulse. I had already so much planned (or so I thought!) and she came in and helped me with everything I was still missing. Her experience in event planning was so reasurring but it was her strength and confidence that made me feel so safe in her handling my wedding. And it allowed me to actually enjoy my wedding! I got to actually enjoy my day with my husband and I felt so secure knowing she was handling my family members, the catering team, my photographer and the DJ seamlessly. I didn't even realize she was down a member of her team because everything was going so smoothly - her execution so perfect that I had no idea she was missing man power. Even the small details, like her ensuring that us newlyweds were fed and had minutes to ourselves before the roar of reception, were some of the most special moments of the evening for me. I am beyond grateful and could not recommend her enough.

    Day Of Coordinator

    We could not have asked for anyone better! Dolores was very professional, reliable, and understanding! She made our wedding day smooth and organized. Dolores always checked in with us leading up to and during the wedding. Stop looking for other wedding day of coordinators and book You So Fancy Events! Totally worth it!

    Hire her! You won't regret it!

    Dolores was phenonemal! We had an outdoor wedding reception, and the venue only supplied the tables. Dolores and her crew did an outstanding job in setting up our guest tables, favor tables, cake table, gift table, candy table, and sign in Jenga table. We also had additional favors such as fans, heal savers, dancing shoes (flip flops), pashminas, and she set everything out just as we had envisioned it. If something went wrong, we had the confidence in her to make a decision to fix it, and she did. As weddings go, not everything goes as planned. It was a windy day, and our tall floral centerpieces were tipping over. She sent one of her team to go buy decorative rocks to hopefully stabilize the arrangements, but that didn't work. She then made a decision and rearranged the floral set up and it turned out beautifully. She did an exceptional job in coordinating with the other vendors, and our wedding reception turned out just as we dreamed of thanks to Dolores and her team. She's very easy to work with, she's fun, diligent in her work and when we have another big event, we are definitely hiring her again.
