We're getting married in Chicago but we don't live there. Do you work with out-of-town couples?

Regularly. Part of knowing Chicago well is knowing the vendors and the venues that speak to the essence of the city and can't be replicated. If you're planning from elsewhere, my local knowledge is a crucial benefit.

Question 3

How many weddings do you take on each year?

Accepted Answer

A small number, on purpose. Thee I Do Crew is boutique planning studio. This means I limit my calendar so that every couple gets the attention this work demands. If you're considering reaching out, sooner is better.

How do I know if I need Partial Planning or 90-Day Management?

Accepted Answer

The simplest frame: Thee Essentials is for shaping your wedding. Thee Final Touch is for leading it across the finish line. If you're early and want a partner helping you make decisions (vendor choices, design direction, the full weekend), Thee Essentials is the right fit. We've already started planning. Can we still book Partial Planning?

Yes. Starting doesn't mean you don't need strategy. It often means you require infrastructure even more urgently. Many couples get through the first few bookings and realize having pieces isn't the same as having a plan. Reach out and tell me where you are!

What's the difference between 90-Day Wedding Management and day-of coordination?

Accepted Answer

Day-of coordination means someone arrives the morning of your wedding and keeps what you had in motion moving. They can't hold all the context of the decisions you made to build the weekend. They show up and execute from the outside. Thee Final Touch is different. Our work begins four months out. I build an intelligent timeline from everything you've already done, manage your vendors, run the rehearsal, and lead your wedding weekend with full context. When something shifts (and it always shifts) I handle it. Because this is my work, and I know what matters.

We've already booked most of our vendors. Is it too late to hire you?

That's the right moment for Thee Final Touch. You've done the planning, and now it needs to be led. The question isn't how you've started, it's whether you want the final phase professionally owned.

Question 8

Our venue has a coordinator. Do we still need Thee I Do Crew?

Accepted Answer

Venue coordinators manage the venue. They don't own your full wedding — the vendors outside their walls, the personal details, the family dynamics, the timeline that holds everything. Those two roles work best together, not with one replacing the other.

Question 9

How do I know if we're a financial fit?

Accepted Answer

I think about fit in terms of per-guest investment rather than a flat budget total — because that tells me more about priorities. Couples who work well with Thee I Do Crew tend to invest $750 to $1,500 or more per guest across the full weekend. That's not a strict cutoff. It's an honest picture of the kinds of weddings where my work makes the most difference. The best way to know is to reach out and talk through what you're building.

Will you be there on our wedding day?

Accepted Answer

Yes. I'm your lead planner and I'm so thrilled to be there. Depending on the scale of your weekend, I may bring on a trusted assistant.

Can you help with events beyond the wedding day — welcome dinner, rehearsal, farewell brunch?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Thee Pre-Party Plan and Thee Send-Off Soirée are add-ons grounded in the same level of intention as the wedding itself. A welcome dinner that gives your guests an introduction to the city.
