Honorary Bridesmaid is a wedding planning company that was created for the couple that needs a helping hand from start to finish, partial planning, day of coordination, or finding the perfect attire. What started as a passion for learning about all things bridal transformed into a planning business that allows a couple to feel relaxed and stress free for their big day. Honorary Bridesmaid takes pride in finding affordable ways of making a vision come to life by using local vendors, DIY'ing if needed, and will be the person to ask for any help.
Honorary Bridesmaid stands out from other planners by creating a more intimate planning experience. Being the owner and sole planner for Honorary Bridesmaid it allows me to be a part of every part of the planning process. One of the ways Honorary Bridesmaid makes sure your event is important is by only taking on two weddings a month. This allows the time and importance of your event to take priority above anything else. I've also created a unique shopping experience for bridal attire to ensure each part of the wedding preparation is an experience you'll never forget. I hope to plan your day and make your wedding stress free!

Kim and Honorary Bridesmaid are great! I would highly recommend hiring Honorary Bridesmaid to help plan your wedding. Honorary Bridesmaid has several packages to choose from so you can get as much help as you want or need. Kim helped us identify different vendors and talked through the pros and cons of each. I always felt comfortable speaking with her and never felt judged or that I couldn’t ask questions. She was so kind, understanding, and approached everything with grace. Her communication was always prompt and clear. She thought through all the small things so we were ready to go in the day of our wedding. Having Kim as a wedding planner relieved so much stress and helped mitigate potential family issues too. 100% recommend!

Kimberly was fantastic for our wedding this past fall. I had several conversations with various Wedding Coordinators and Companies but Kimberly stood out right away. From our first phone call, she asked such specific questions and walked me through the process and gave suggestions on how to keep everything organized. Kimberly was super professional, reliable, attentive and when above and beyond the weeks leading up and the day of our wedding. We did a downtown Chicago wedding and my husband is Assyrian, so between the level of detail and cultural elements, there was a lot that I entrusted Kimberly to help me with.. from the wedding timeline, to seating chart last minute changes, to coordinating with the hotel events manager, the photographers, leading the other vendors and table set requests, Kimberly was there to lead it all and ensure everything looked absolutely stunning for our wedding. 10/10 recommend Kimberly for any wedding or special event.

Kim calls herself an honorary bridesmaid but she is so much more. She is a florist, a seamstress, a miracle worker and a friend to everyone she meets. I had a vision for my wedding day and Kim executed it flawlessly. She not only made the day run smoothly, but set up all of my favors, stationery and even the bud vases she made exactly how I pictured it! We had some fashion emergencies and Kim literally saved the day by sowing on straps to make a dress that wouldn’t zip finally close. I cannot rave about Kim enough!! We got endless compliments about our day and it would have been impossible without her. Kim is worth every single penny and then some.
