Sam was the BEST!
Hire a coordinator - hire Sam, it is SO worth it! Having Sam be apart of my wedding day allowed me to fully be present, hand off all the months of planning, enjoy being with my people, and I truly did not think once about anything going wrong or stressing about any decision making. It was the best gift I could have been given on my wedding day. Sam handled everything with grace, reliability, and ease. She was so easy to work with and truly made the day seem effortless. Hiring Sam would be the best money spent on your wedding day!!

Sam is EVERYTHING
Sam is our favorite. She was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. From our very first interaction, her communication style was kind and calm, putting us at ease throughout the planning process. The quality of her design work was tasteful and personal. Sam handled all of our wild details for creating a venue in our friend's backyard with smooth coordination. Sam's adaptability allowed us to fully enjoy our wedding celebration without a worry. We cannot recommend Sam at Halcyon Events highly enough to any couple looking for a wedding planner! Sam was truly AMAZING! We had Sam as our Day of Coordinator and couldn't have asked for a more organized, driven, & helpful individual to execute our wedding day. She came ready to go & with the help of our meetings beforehand & her documents of every aspect of our wedding, she nailed my vision completely! I felt no stress whatsoever and trusted her wholeheartedly! She is so wonderful & any bride would be lucky to have her!

Best wedding decision we made
Finding and choosing Sam for full-service planning was one of the first wedding decisions we made, and it was without a doubt one of our best. She was exactly what we were looking for, helping with virtually every aspect of the wedding planning process to make it infinitely less stressful. As a couple, we were very busy in the year leading up to our wedding, and we're not the kind of people who love planning big events. From start to finish, Sam was both our guide, telling us what we needed to do next, and our trusted consultant, quick to share encouragement or an opinion if we asked for her thoughts. In addition, she was so warm, fun, and easy to work with--we laughed a lot! Sam made sure we stayed on on track, helped us figure out our style/vision, generated beautiful ideas for us (without overwhelming us with choices), made vendor recommendations (and did significant research into vendors in our non-local wedding area), and handled most of the contact with our vendors throughout. When we did have unique preferences, she was validating and helpful in incorporating the details we needed to make our day special (e.g., Jewish rituals, accessibility for guests with disabilities). She was always easy to get in touch with and happy to schedule a Zoom meeting or phone call on short notice. In addition to being fantastic and proactive with planning in the months leading up to the wedding, Sam truly shone on the actual day. We were extremely impressed with how seamlessly she made everything run. We couldn't believe how beautiful and perfect our day was, and how somehow we were able to forget about all the little details we'd been obsessing about in the days prior and just let Sam handle everything in the background while we soaked up the most perfect, magical day of our lives. Many guests told us it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever been to. You will not regret hiring Sam!

Our wedding day was an absolute dream come true, filled with happiness and enchantment. Sam's keen understanding of our dream wedding allowed her to create an experience that surpassed our wildest dreams. Throughout the planning process, she ensured that every one of our details aligned with our desire for an experiential white monochromatic wedding. The result was a breathtakingly elegant and cohesive design that was uniquely tailored to us. In addition to our American ceremony, she also played a pivotal role in coordinating our Paebaek, a Korean ceremony. With her assistance, we were able to honor and celebrate my heritage, creating cherished memories that will forever be treasured. When it came to day-of, she directed and coordinated all the day-of details, ensuring that everything ran according to our timeline. Having Sam, allowed us to relax and fully immerse ourselves in the joy of our wedding. Sam was an extraordinary partner in creating an exquisite and memorable experience for our special day. Her understanding of our desires, attention to detail, and ability to bring our ideas to life in the most perfect way surpassed all our expectations.
