Description

This is for those whose professional and or personal commitments have their schedules at the breaking point. Those who would rather receive options A, B & C for decision making vs having to research vendors, pricing and logistics. We take the time to get to know our clients, their love story and their vision for the event. We act as the project manager and a liaison between you and all service providers.

This is for those "Type A" personalities that cannot fully relinquish control and or find themselves spread too thin with work and other obligations to dedicate the time/focus needed to execute a flawless wedding. At this level we act as co-project managers alongside our clients and as the operations manager of the event.

This is for an outgoing DIY focused individual who likes to take the lead and be in charge. Here you act as project manager planning your wedding and ask us for advice as needed. Dotting i's, crossing t's, making final confirmations thus acting as your implementation & coordination manager for the event.

    Say Yes to the Duchess!

    Second to saying yes, hiring the Duchess of Denver was the best wedding decision we made! From spending hours truly getting to know us, to having all the right connections, to gracefully navigating a weather pivot on our wedding day, Alex surpassed every expectation. My husband and I knew we wanted to create a unique, beautiful wedding experience that we, our family and friends would cherish and remember. We’d wanted elements of a traditional wedding weekend but one that felt fun and not like every other wedding we’d been to. We also knew that, as a busy engineer and lawyer, we had very little knowledge about what goes into a great wedding and very little time or desire to learn the intricacies of “the perfect wedding.” Alex spent hours asking probing and fun questions. He really got to know our visions, desires and quirks. There were so many times when we said things like “we want a dinner the night before, but not a typical rehearsal reception with people standing around at hightop in a bland conference room.” He absorbed all of it and turned it into a fabulous weekend. Alex’s encyclopedic knowledge about James and Rebecca was invaluable when my work got super crazy a few months before the wedding. When I told Alex that I could do big decisions, but the little ones, like choosing ribbon color or envelopes for invitations, were hurting my brain, Alex stepped in and planned everything based on what he knew about us. Alex found us a breathtaking space in the Penrose Room at the Broadmoor, he coordinated flowers to match my colorful dress, helped pick perfect delicious meal stations that suited a variety of dietary needs, organized the music and stayed on top of the hotel until their 3,000 square foot Parker suite opened up. Alex interviewed and found the best make-up artist, designed hand calligraphed journals for our guests, and created guest bags that with fun and useful things. I could go on and on! Alex’s management of every detail meant the weekend ran smoothly and everyone was happy! He created a bowling night for our out-of-town guests and wedding party, worked with the hotel make sure family members with friction had rooms far away from each other, stocked our bride and groom suite with snacks and champagne, moved us us through the precise schedule of photos, ceremony and reception, and organized a fun and delicious good-bye brunch. When a surprisingly rainy June meant our outdoor ceremony space was a mud-field, Alex pivoted and redesigned a large alcove in the reception space to be a cozy ceremony space. So many of our friends and family have said that ours was one of the best weddings they’d ever attended. Ok, ok, maybe they have to say that, but in this case, I think it’s probably true! We would recommend Alex to any couple, especially successful professionals who want to create a first class, memorable experience (but might now have the first clue of how do to it).

    Duchess is a no-brainer!

    I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Alex and without him our wedding would not have been the same. To use the sports analogy, Alex and his team played all positions including head coach, quarterback, offense, defense and special teams and most importantly #1 fan. The wedding planning experience has its highs and lows, and during the lows a call or text with Alex always ended with a sigh of relief knowing how prepared he is and how he can see around the corner for us! But best of all was his ability to understand our vision and create a wedding experience based on our theme ever better than we could have imagined. Alex has all the qualities you want in a wedding planner including exceptional attention to detail, hyper organized and very responsive. He has an incredible workbook that helped us stay organized (and sane). On the wedding day, Alex and his team are superheroes on wedding day and helped orchestrate everything. We are so grateful for everything Alex did to make our day so memorable!

    Cannot recommend enough!!

    We cannot recommend Duchess of Denver enough as a wedding planner. Alex went above and beyond every step of the way for our wedding. He always had an answer to any question we had, had many ideas to make our wedding truly unique to us, responded quickly, transformed our event space to a beautiful reception, visited our venue several times to take measurements and create a layout that was perfect for what we needed, thought ahead on almost every issue or concern there may be with a plan, joined any call or meeting we needed with a vendor, had an extremely comprehensive timeline and checklist, and offered valuable advice and input. Outside of all the preparation, when it came time for the big day, I was truly so grateful to have Alex and his team by my side. Your wedding can be an overwhelming day for many reasons and knowing Duchess of Denver was on top of everything allowed me to breathe so much easier and enjoy the day so much more.

    Did I say exceptional?

    Alex is truly gifted in his field! He was there with us every step of the way in planning our daughter's destination wedding. HIs gift of detail, organization and creativity really shines! He thinks outside of the box to come up with ideas we never would have thought of, many of which we used, and I'm so glad we did! His special touches created a breathtakingly beautiful reception. We are so thankful we used him and you will be too!

    The Duchess made all our dreams come true!

    There are no words to articulate how incredible the Duchess of Denver is! Alexander went above and beyond every single step of the way in planning and executing our 3-day wedding weekend. We'd originally hired a different full-service firm and after 8 months of working together, it was clearly not the right fit. The Duchess swooped in with less than 6 months until the big day and I knew right away that he was the one for me. Together, we revisited every haphazard decision I'd made to ensure it would not only appease us, but truly light our souls on fire. He approached each and every aspect with the utmost attention to detail and a genuine commitment to bringing our vision to life. He even engaged my then-fiancé in the process, despite my insisting that he had zero interest. Alex helped him find countless reasons to LOVE being involved with the planning process, which is priceless to me. Alex is assertive when he should be but is always warm, kind, funny, and compassionate. He consistently prioritized accommodating my autistic brother and other guests with health concerns or special needs. He's incredibly knowledgeable about Jewish weddings and helped us weave meaning and tradition throughout our wedding day. Needless to say, the entire weekend was PERFECTLY executed and most importantly, we felt ZERO anxiety. Our families absolutely adored the whole Duchess team - my (difficult to impress) Dad even joked that there must be 3 Alex's because he was everywhere! He flawlessly navigated challenging family dynamics and made sure that everyone felt like a VIP. Did I mention that we had 106 guests travel across the country for the wedding? He was pretty much famous among our guests by the end of the weekend and every bride-to-be in attendance wanted his contact info. I had the honor of being Alex's first full-service bride under his own firm/the Duchess of Denver brand, but I am confident that he will be fully booked in no time, so don't snooze on hitting that contact button! There is truly no one like him. Hiring the Duchess of Denver was by far the best decision we made when planning our dream wedding weekend.
