Working with B & Z Events Co. was hands down the best decision we made for our wedding. Barbara understood exactly what I needed and handled everything with incredible speed and clarity—she kept me informed without drowning me in emails, which I really appreciated. When I flew to Miami for the weekend, she met me at my linens appointment to make sure every detail was perfect, and she jumped on Zoom calls with me whenever I needed her, even during her own work day. On the day of the wedding, Barbara was there every step of the way, checking in on me and my fiancé multiple times to make sure we felt calm and taken care of. What really stood out was how transparent she was about everything and how genuinely sweet she was throughout the entire process—her husband even pitched in to help on the day itself. As an out-of-state bride, Barbara made planning feel seamless and stress-free, and we honestly can't thank her enough for making our day so special.

Wonderful Team to Work With
Working with Barbara and her team at B & Z Events Co. was a really positive experience. Loved my experience with B & Z!
Barbara went above and beyond when it came to coordinating our wedding on Miami Beach. I believe having a communicative and skilled event planner is just as important during the planning phase as it is to have a reliable planner on the day of the wedding. And Barbara made us feel at ease in the year leading up to our wedding -- she answered every single one of our emails in a timely way with detailed responses, helping to troubleshoot any questions/issues as they arose. As a type A person, I really appreciated her partnership and organized, collected communication style. She helped my husband and I feel incredibly comfortable going into our weekend! During our wedding weekend, Barbara didn't let a single detail slip. She ensured all plans were executed to perfection, coordinated the most minute of details with our multiple vendors, and brought our vision to life. Our wedding weekend was perfect and Barbara's dedication and work played an immense role in that! If we decide to renew our vows in the future, B&Z will be our first vendor to contact!

Barbara was patient & listened throughout!
When we started planning our wedding back in 2024, we were overwhelmed. Many venues and their associated planners wanted commitments that we just couldn't make yet. While understandable in this line of work, it was a lot for a couple like us that did not have an idea of what they wanted to do. Working with Barbara at B & Z Event Planning couldn't have been a better experience. She was NOT like this-- in fact, from our very first meeting with her, the first thing she did was sat down with us and listened. Her patience and empathy shone throughout the planning process, and she was able to help us piece together what our dream wedding day would look like from the different visions we had in our heads. I can't say enough about this as someone who also works in the people business! Additionally, her expertise in dealing with different venues and vendors allowed her to give honest opinions and help pair us up with the right ones that would work best for us and deliver our vision on our timeline. The end result exceeded our expectations, and I'd argue even the expectations of some of our guests. We were ultimately able to have a wedding that was felt both formal but laid back, organized by untraditional, and very much inspired by the colors of the summer. Thank you, Barbara!
