I believe anyone getting their photo taken should feel both comfortable and genuine. I always tell my clients that if they don't feel natural, they won't look natural--the best pictures come from actual moments in time. I want you to feel confident and free to be yourself, and I'm pretty good at helping you to feel that way.

I'll take the time to get to know you before your wedding, so we're comfortable with each other before your big day! For portraits I'll give you prompts for movement and interaction. The result is a blend of naturally posed and candid images that tell your story in a way that reflects you. For the rest of the ceremony, getting-ready photos, first look, reception, and everything else, I'll be there to capture everything happening without you having to think twice about it.

    Sydnee is the best!

    I’m so glad we chose to work with Sydnee. We had her do our engagements and were so excited to have her do our wedding, too. She works really well with children, which was huge since we had our own younger kids in the wedding and in a lot of our pictures. She’s also so good at making you feel confident. I’m super self-conscious, but I expressed this to Sydnee and she not only made me feel super comfortable, but also delivered photos that I love. I’m not super easy to please when it comes to pictures of myself. I love that her editing is natural and timeless. Nothing felt like an awkwardly-posed photo…it was all just so natural. And when portraits were done she captured everything else. I told her I didn’t mind her being “visible,” like she didn’t have to try to be sneaky about taking pictures, but I still didn’t notice she was there during our special moments. She’s SO fun and literally your best friend leading up to your wedding. We love Sydnee and 10/10 recommend her to ANYONE looking for a wedding photographer.

    Wonderful photographer!

    Sydeswept Photography was an absolute joy to work with for our daughter’s wedding. From the very first interaction, Sydney was incredibly friendly, easy to work with, and accommodating. She took the time to understand what we were looking for and was so patient in capturing all the special moments throughout the day. The quality of her work was excellent - the lighting was beautiful, she was thorough in getting all the shots we wanted, and utilized a variety of settings to capture the uniqueness of our wedding.     Sydnee is great for everyone!

    Sydnee from Sydeswept Photography was such a pleasure to work with. She’s so friendly and fun. She kept up communication with us until the day of the wedding and kept updating us on our pictures as she worked on them. What really stood out was her ability to adapt. She is laid back and fun but so good at giving direction when needed, and she picks up on it so well! She has a great eye for detail and really listened to understand our vision for out day.
