Elisabeth & Justin, I’m genuinely sorry that you feel disappointed, as my goal is always for couples to walk away feeling happy with their memories. That said, I do want to clarify a few important points for those reading. Your wedding was fully photographed as contracted, edited, and delivered early in high-resolution format, with full download access. Every image in the gallery was edited using my standard professional workflow. I also took time to consult with multiple professional colleagues regarding your gallery, all of whom agreed the work meets industry standards for wedding photography, I consulted other professionals for their opinions on the photos as well to get other viewpoints on whether the work was professional quality and industry standard. I stand by the photos taken which can be seen on my Instagram publicly, and have quite a bit of likes so it seems like others really liked the photos. All of your couples photos, wedding party family photos were posed, I do not pose people while they're getting ready or during the ceremony this is standard. Just to clarify we also only had 3 hours of working together ( this is the time you selected, I strongly suggested 4 hours at minimum), over an hour was spent getting ready as the wedding was running behind. Your ceremony took place outdoors on a mountaintop in full midday sun, which naturally creates strong light and shadows that cannot be fully softened or recreated in post-production. These conditions are environmental and not the result of inattention or lack of care. After receiving your feedback, I engaged respectfully and offered a goodwill accommodation despite my clearly stated no-refund policy. Unfortunately, we were unable to agree on a resolution. I understand weddings are deeply emotional, and I wish you both nothing but the best moving forward. Regarding the specific incidents mentioned, I strive to manage the timeline efficiently, especially when coordinating large groups or navigating unpredictable situations like ensuring guests who may be under the influence stay focused for photos. On your wedding day, the heat was a significant factor, and I aimed to get you and your party back inside as quickly as possible to keep everyone comfortable. It’s never my intention to come across as impatient, and I sincerely apologize if that’s how it seemed. I did apologize at the time because I always aim for a positive atmosphere, even in challenging moments.
