Hi, I’m Sabine—the heart behind Regular Sweetheart Images. I’m a Santa Cruz-based photographer with a love for weddings, vintage vibes, and real, heartfelt moments. Inspired by the beauty of the coast (hello, Big Sur, Carmel & Monterey!), I capture love stories with a warm, nostalgic touch. Let’s make something beautiful together.
My photography isn’t just about capturing weddings—it’s about telling your story in a way that feels honest, nostalgic, and uniquely you. I’m drawn to the magic in the in-between moments: the soft glances, the imperfect laughter, the wind-blown veil, the lipstick-smudged kisses. That’s where the real beauty lives. I actually hired two photographers to get different angles and while the other one was very good, all the photos I ended up printing and put up in my home were from Regular Sweetheart Images. The editing style is so unique and beautiful, and Sabine did great with the kids!

Regular Sweetheart Images is an amazing wedding photography team. The communication from the photographer was exceptional - she always went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and make us feel comfortable. Elopement in San Francisco
My partner and I were looking to have a small elopement at City Hall in SF. If you know, you know- it’s a beautiful building with a ton of epic photo opportunities but difficult to navigate being a public space with a lot of other people walking around (and getting married). We ended up navigating it quite seamlessly angling everything perfectly to make it appear as if we were the only ones there for every photo. She did not hesitate to step in and direct, which was very helpful. Our wedding took place in October and our color scheme was a moody fall pallet- Sabine made sure the tones of the photos matched this and definitely gave a special vibe that enhanced the photos in the perfect way. Long story short, I told Sabine everything about our vision for our photos and she did not disappoint. Sabine was so great, and I would recommend her to any couple looking to get married no matter what the style of their wedding is.
