Wedding Shuttle Departed Early
We booked transportation through CharterUP for our wedding and unfortunately the shuttle left about 15 minutes earlier than the scheduled 11:30 PM departure. As a result several guests including myself as the bride were left behind at the end of the night. After I left my review a manager reached out to reopen my case. They were very professional and understanding and worked with me to resolve the issue, which I appreciated. I am amending my original review to 4 stars based on their compassion and understanding. I would recommend that anyone booking confirm that drivers strictly follow the scheduled pickup times.

WARNING. DO NOT BOOK
This is a horror story, and a bride’s worst nightmare. We used CharterUp to book transportation for our wedding guests between our venue and their hotel for our wedding in early December, 2025. The driver arrived at the hotel for pickup on time, HOWEVER, the driver did NOT verify the party they were picking up, and he picked up the WRONG WEDDING GUESTS. After picking up the wrong guests, the driver proceeded to take them to a different venue. Where was the due diligence? The driver called my husband on the day of our wedding to “confirm change of venue.” My husband, confused, said that there was no change of venue, that this was for the [our name] wedding, at which point the driver confirmed that he did not have the proper guests en route. We were eventually connected with a different driver. All the while, our guests remained waiting at the hotel for over an hour and a half, not understanding what was happening. Our guests eventually made it to our wedding venue, nearly TWO HOURS LATER than our scheduled time. Our ceremony was outdoors, originally scheduled for 4pm. The outdoor ceremony did not start until nearly 6pm. Because of CharterUps actions, we lost the light. I did not get the photos I wanted on my wedding day. My cocktail hour was cut in half. I had to pay 2000 extra out of pocket to extend my venue so we could have the full wedding. We reached out to CharterUp about a month later to see about a refund. They took no responsibility, and only issued about 1/4 of the money we spent with them. Their terms and conditions are predatory, and their customer service is ABYSMAL. They single handedly ruined my wedding, a day that I obviously can’t get back. Absolutely despicable. DO NOT BOOK.

Post-Engagement Party Bus
CharterUP provided excellent transportation services for our wedding day. Their communication was easy and timely, making the booking process very convenient. The driver arrived on time to pick us up from a central location, and the transportation was effective and stress-free throughout the event. CharterUp Review and Experience
I booked a full-size coach bus through CharterUp to transport my 35-person wedding party between our hotel, photo location, and wedding venue. This transportation was an important part of our day, carefully planned so our entire group could travel together and share the experience. Unfortunately, our experience with CharterUp was extremely disappointing. The day before our wedding, I was contacted and told that the coach bus had broken down and that three 14-passenger mini buses would be sent instead. This was not what I booked or agreed to, and it completely changed our plans. I was told someone would follow up, but no one did—I had to reach out again myself, only to be told that no replacement coach bus could be secured. When I expressed that this was unacceptable and asked about compensation, I was told a claim could be submitted. Shortly after, I received another call saying that a coach bus had been located and that everything would proceed as originally booked. I trusted that the issue had been resolved. However, on the day of the wedding, the transportation that arrived was once again three small mini buses, not the full-size coach bus I contracted and paid for. This was a clear breach of contract and created unnecessary stress, confusion, and disappointment on one of the most important days of our lives. Because the mini buses did not have restrooms—unlike the coach bus we booked—we were forced to make an unplanned stop for a passenger who urgently needed a bathroom. This delay and disruption would not have occurred had the correct vehicle been provided. Overall, the experience felt chaotic and poorly handled. My husband and I lost the special shared moment we had planned and paid for, and the entire situation added stress to a day that should have run smoothly. After submitting a claim and providing evidence, CharterUp did issue partial compensation, which I appreciate. However, the refund does not change the fact that we did not receive the service we booked and that the mishandling significantly impacted our wedding day. I truly hope CharterUp improves their communication, reliability, and contingency planning so future couples do not experience similar issues.

CharterUP provided excellent communication throughout the planning process, making sure every detail was taken care of for our wedding day transportation. The service they delivered was nothing short of amazing - their drivers were on time, the vehicles were immaculate, and our guests were comfortable and able to enjoy the ride.
