    Incredible photographer

    I seriously cannot say enough good things about Nichole and how perfect she is. Not only is she phenomenal at her job- providing outstanding and breathtaking pictures- but she is a phenomenal PERSON. We had Nichole for our engagement pictures which turned out beautifully, so we had the bar set high and she somehow exceeded those expectations!! She ensured things were moving seamlessly at my wedding (outside of her job scope and did that multiple times without prompting because she’s just a team player) and ensured I was hydrated, fed, and that my bridezilla wasn’t coming out (and it didn’t because of her). She went above and beyond to ensure my husband and I were having a great time on our day and, honestly, just looked out for us because she genuinely cares. She also took such good care of my son, my beagle. Also, my husband and I can sometimes get awkward when pictures are being taken of us, but Nichole is so warm and personable that we relaxed right away, and it almost felt like we were just hanging out with a good friend. Those pictures, both from our engagement session and our wedding, came out beautifully. We recently received sneak peeks and they knocked us off our feet. We cannot wait to see more! We will be using her in the future without question for all of our special events. Do not hesitate- book Nichole. She IS the best out there.

    Amazing Photographer Who Goes Above & Beyond!

    Nichole was absolutely amazing to work with! We had our engagement shoot with her last summer and she went above and beyond. We are so happy with how our photos came out. We got married this October and again, Nichole was a dream to work with. She showed up with my favorite Starbucks coffee. I was so touched by this gesture. From the moment she arrived, she kept me calm and directed my husband and bridal party on where to go. She was so organized that we were ahead of schedule and had even more time for photos. She was also so kind to everyone and my family and friends adored her. The morning after my wedding, we were sent sneak peeks and my husband and I love them! They're beautiful and we cannot wait to see the rest. I highly recommend Photography by Strain!

    Stop looking and book!

    Nicole was super easy to work with and was happy to work with our short timeline. She provided great planning resources and had such an attentive and caring demeanor through our entire event, when while pregnant! Her second shooter was awesome as well! She gave us incredible sneak peaks and went above and beyond in her editing skills! Booking her is the best and easiest decision you’ll make in your wedding planning process.

    Best Lead shooter I’ve ever worked with!

    My name’s Danté! A NY photographer/videographer. For the past 2 years I’ve worked with Strain on multiple occasions as her second shooter, and I’ll tell you, it’s been a blast! At first I was nervous to work along another shooter other then my friend. Her and I did not know each other and she’s been at this business far longer then I have so it was definitely intimidating at first. But after the first hour shooting under her I knew it was a good fit to work with her as her second. Throughout the weddings we’ve work, a great friendship has been formed and I’ve learned a lot from her as a photographer and how to better my business in the wedding industry.
