The best!
If there’s one decision you must make for your wedding, it’s choosing Mary to be your photographer. From our very first call we knew we were in good hands. Mary is thorough, reassuring, and incredibly talented. She made us feel so comfortable during our engagement shoot and by our wedding day we felt like pros in front of the camera. Mary knows how to capture authentic moments. It never felt like she was intruding. Every photo shows the genuine love and joy that we felt. We are so happy we were able to spend such a special day surrounded by her incredible energy! We will cherish the photos she took forever.

The best choice for our photos!
We worked with Mary for our engagement photos and were absolutely thrilled with the results. She made us feel at ease right away, and we ended up with so many photos that looked (and felt!) so comfortable and so "us." There were no moments that felt awkward or posed, and she took the time to make sure we had captured many memories we'll cherish for a lifetime. We ended up getting married abroad, but if we had stayed local we would have been thrilled to work with Mary again for the big day itself. We can't recommend her highly enough!

Simply the best
Every interaction with Mary, from our initial discovery call to our engagement shoot, to group photos on our wedding day was warm, friendly, professional, and just an overall amazing experience. As someone that does not generally enjoy getting their picture taken, she does such an outstanding job of making you feel comfortable and natural, all while ensuring you’re having fun while doing it. Putting the fact that she is an amazing human aside, the final product (our wedding pictures) are absolutely breathtaking. She managed to capture so many little moments of loved ones on our special day that we will cherish forever and the quality of the images are all perfect. If you took the time to read this and are looking for a photographer for your wedding or any other special occasion, I promise that you will not find anyone better than Mary.

The literaly best ever!
I could write a novel about how incredible it was to work with Mary during our engagement and wedding! Getting our photos back from Mary was overwhelming because she truly captured everything we wanted and asked for, and so much more. There were so many people and moments I left our wedding day thinking we hadn’t captured, but when I looked at our final album, all those missing moments were present. All the hugs with lifelong friends, laughter with guests, the many beautiful couples who joined us, and all the fun we had dancing with our closest friends at the end of the night. It was the best, most special day, and thanks to Mary we’ll be able to relive it all for the rest of our lives. I wish I could give her more than 5 stars. Forever grateful for Mary’s talent, professionalism, and kindness on our special day. If you’re looking for beautiful pictures and a super cool, fun human to take them for you, Mary is your girl!

Extremely happy bride & groom
Mary made us so comfortable during our engagement photos (which can be awkward when in public) and everything she had us do became unforgettable moments we will cherish forever!! Additionally, Mary was so great at grabbing photos we had no idea she was taking. Not only did she make sure we had all of our special moments she took the time to make sure the people that meant most to us were included. Mary is an incredible photographer and an even better human. She takes joy in making the moment special and solidifying them forever. We got to see Mary capture things we didn’t even know were happening. Somehow she was everywhere all at once. We are so thankful not only for the beautiful pictures she capture but for making the day one we will never forget!!

I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.

In my 6 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted assistant. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement.

You can expect about 50-70 images per hour of photographing (even more when you book a second photographer). But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.

You will receive a sneak peek within a week of your wedding day!! Then the full gallery within three months.

I am the sole editor for MJC Image. Everything comes through me, even video. What I can promise are fully-edited, enhanced, high-resolution images that you will obsess over.

Sometimes, I’ll suggest one or more assistant photographers depending on the size of your wedding. This will be something we discuss together and make the best decision for your perfect day.

I typically open my books 12 months out. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.

If you're looking at a date marked off on the Zola calendar, PLEASE reach out anyway. I have two Lead Associates who are incredible and whose voices have become integral to the MJC Weddings look. I'll still be along for the planning process and every image will still be edited by me (and a little secret: you get a discount!).
