My name is Lisa McCoy (as you can guess)! My husband Aj and I live in Alanson of Northern Michigan. We enjoy camping and road trips. We make sure to find all the hidden gems Michigan has to offer on the way. During Michigan summers we love being on, or in, the water. Kayaking is a personal favorite of ours. Although, I think my happiest place is walking alongside the ocean — I can’t describe how it makes my heart feel to be there! Aj and I enjoy trying new craft beers from all around the state. I always have a bottle of champagne in the fridge while Aj is always trying different kinds of scotch. Hence the names of our wedding packages.
My love for photography started as a child watching my Aunt Linda while she worked. That’s when my love for capturing the perfect candid shot took root. Something about the click of the shutter, the flash of the light and the freshness of a newly printed photo have always allured me. I've been using the gorgeous landscapes of Northern Michigan for photographic inspiration since 2008. Since then, I’ve taken classes and earned certificates to further my knowledge so I can bring you the best photographs. Weddings give me so much joy to be apart of. Especially making friendships with all the amazing couples!

Wonderful Photographer
Lisa was absolutely amazing to work with. I got engaged in 2019 and married on May 15, 2021. I’m a wedding planner myself, so I had a lot of my timelines done early on, but Planning through a pandemic had a lot of ups and downs while working around all the state guidelines. Lisa was amazing in helping come up with ideas to help make something work in case we ultimately had to go a different route. We lucked out and got to have a wonderful day. Lisa and her second shooter (husband) put the group at ease and was wonderful posing all of us. Her pictures turned out more than we could ever imagine. So many people compliment us on all of them. I highly recommend her to anyone.
