I'm Kari, and I'm obsessed with real emotions. I've been a photographer since 2007 and I still get all gooey inside when I see a couple laughing together, crying together, or living out dreams together. I only accept 12 wedding commissions a year so I can give each couple the attention you deserve. I'm based in New York, but I'm never opposed to traveling far and wide for a gorgeous wedding! My entire focus is to be a story-teller. I want you to look at your photos and remember how you felt on your wedding day, not simply what you did and which guests were there. I try to be as un-intrusive as possible so you can interact with your wedding party and guests naturally, and I can then photograph those precious moments of shared joy and tears without anyone distracting you from those feelings. But don't worry! I'll still help you pose for those gorgeous romantic couples photos. I'll just make sure you look natural while posing!

    Amazing Photos and Amazing People

    Fantastic all around!

    Kari and Caleb were such a pleasure to work with! I cannot say enough good things about them. Personality-wise, they were a great presence to have around on our wedding day - fun, personable, professional, relaxed, and looking out for my husband and me the entire time. Photography-wise, I am even more impressed. Kari and Caleb expertly guided us through our first look and couples session before the wedding. They found amazing locations to shoot in, helped us pose, and kept track of the time to make sure we got where we needed to be. During the ceremony and reception, they were incredibly dynamic. When I saw the photos, I couldn't believe they were able to capture so much of the night from so many angles. The images are STUNNING. They are fun, unique, candid, expertly shot and edited, and I love them all so much. I would work with Kari and Caleb again in a heartbeat.
