Hi, I am a romantic who after 20 years in Fashion, Advertising and Red Carpet Beauty decided to start a beautiful wedding business. With soft communication, style and expertise, you are safe. My work has been featured in Vogue, Glamour, W magazine among many others. Upstate Beauty was founded in Woodstock NY 2020 and is still growing.

My extensive knowledge of Beauty for Photography contributes to the lasting memory of your day. You will look at your pictures in many years to come and still be proud and moved by the way you looked and your love was captured. My experience working on events like the Met Gala and The Oscars gives me an unshakable confidence and calm that is deeply needed at emotional and special events.

    The BEST Wedding Makeup Artist

    Booking Upstate Beauty and working with Alice Lane for my wedding weekend was a total dream! Alice is an incredibly talented makeup artist who uses the highest quality products and has mastered the natural makeup look, which is exactly what I wanted for my wedding makeup. She makes you look like the absolute best version of yourself. Aside from being incredibly skilled, Alice is also the sweetest soul and brought an amazing energy to the getting ready process and throughout the wedding day. She made a lasting impression on myself and all of the wedding party with her warmth, kindness, and sense of of humor. Alice is a true professional and was timely, organized, and communicative throughout the entire process - from sharing inspiration photos, to the makeup trial, to the wedding weekend. Alice even went above and beyond when my hair stylist cancelled the week of my wedding and reached out to her network to find an incredibly talented hair stylist as a replacement. She truly saved the day! I cannot sing her praises enough! She is simply the best there is, and I have been so fortunate to book Alice as a makeup artist for events since my wedding!
