I Felt Absolutely Beautiful
From the initial phone call, I knew Tanaya J Makeup was going to be the MUA for my wedding day. We bonded instantly over the phone and she let me know she was going to deliver on my wedding day! Then we had the trial, she saw my inspo and the importance for my makeup to give skin, and she3 did more than deliver, she ATE and it was just the trial! I used the make up for my bridal shower and got tons of compliments. Wedding day, she came on time and went right to work. There were 10 girls getting their make up done, and everything went by efficiently with no issue. When it was my turn, she made sure I was comfortable and went straight to work - and it truly was the look of my dreams. I felt so beautiful. 2 weeks later, people are still telling me how stunning I looked, and I owe a huge thanks to Tanaya for bringing my look to life. As a black woman, looking for wedding beauty stylist wasn't the easiest, but saying yes to Tanaya was an easy decision, and one that I am so grateful I made! Any bride wondering, or not sure, I guarantee, Tanaya is the one to work with.

From the moment Tanaya walked into my apartment for my makeup trial, I knew that not only would she be a stellar makeup artist but also a friend. Tanaya is so warm and made me comfortable immediately. She totally understood the glamorous old Hollywood look I was going for and executed it to perfection. A concern I had was how an artist would handle a bridal party with various skin tones. I did not need to worry about that at all. With the combined skills of Tanaya and her lovely assistant Whitney, my mother, mother-in-law, 3 bridesmaids and myself looked absolutely stunning on the Wedding Day! Our makeup lasted from the salon till the last dance and I can honestly say I could not have felt more beautiful. Do not hesitate to have Tanaya be part of your wedding team!

Great Professional to Partner with!
I’m really happy I met Tanya, as she partnered with me on doing hair for a bridal party of 7 I was booked for. Tanya was efficient, speedy, friendly, knowledgeable. and very helpful when it came to giving tips on makeup. I loved the flow we had together when working alongside one another and the planning process was very easygoing with her. Tanya will always be a wedding hair makeup vendor I’ll work with! She does such beautiful, effortless work/looks.

Best at the Beat!!!
Tanaya is incredible. I observed her beautiful work via her IG page and it had nothing on what she could do in real life! She was very communicative in understanding and establishing my wedding look; was timely for appointments; responded positively when I had to move my wedding date; made me and my girls IMMACULATE for the day of and was flexible in taking my mom who originally opted out of makeup. She also guided me with a pre-wedding routine that prepared my face for my wedding day (I still use it 3 years later). Tanaya is very personable as well. She’s an absolute joy and extremely talented. Overall 12 out of 10. Highly recommended. Do yourself a favor and book her.
