Owner & Lead Artist

Chryss White is a highly trained Makeup Artist (MUA) located in the DFW metroplex. Her love for makeup started at the age of six, as she would study it through the lens of her mother. Naturally, her passion blossomed into a career. She spent over a decade refining her skills and broadening her makeup experiences while employed with MAC Cosmetics. Since leaving, she has freelanced for all manner of jobs, from bridal to body painting, fashion to fetish, commercial to theatrical. She continues to acquire the latest education in makeup trends, techniques, and cutting-edge product knowledge.

​Chryss views her clients and models as living canvases and believes that each client/model is distinctively unique. Regardless of shape, color, texture, each person has a vision and a story. Every client must be specially prepped and painted to create a flawless and customized application.

    Impressive Work

    Chris with JC Beauty does amazing work! I always feel comfortable allowing her to use her creative artistic gift when doing my makeup. I’ve visited her several times and I’m truly impressed by her versatility. She can create dramatic, soft, and formal looks with ease. I will definitely be using her again!

    Best Team EVER!

    I cannot say enough good things about this duo!! Chryss & Joy were so easy to work with. So much fun. Transparent and reasonable pricing from the beginning, and when my needs changed for # of my bridal party utilizing their services, Chryss was incredibly kind and easy to work with over the phone while I was planning - coming in from Wisconsin, I didn't get to meet in person until the day before my wedding, but the communication was effective so It was no big deal- I did my bridal hair & makeup trial the day before my wedding, and it was the BEST decision- we were able to get acquainted, practice a few things, and figure out how to approach wedding day! When the day came, the team was extremely prompt, professional, and down to match the vibes of our day! We all felt extremely comfortable with the two, jamming to songs, and getting some BOMB hair and makeup looks! Something special was watching my mom feel soooo incredibly beautiful after receiving the services- her glow was something I haven't seen on her in such a long time! The hair & makeup both lasted allll day- morning into night- and I didn't take it off until I was crawling myself into bed! They were phenomenal - quick services & extremely receptive to ideas & feedback - and I could not have asked for anything better on my wedding day. Such sweet & talented women. Book them!!!

    Amazing work!

    Chryss was the makeup artist for my wedding this past weekend and she was amazing. Unfortunately, me and my wedding party ran way behind schedule (almost 2 hours) and Chryss was still very accommodating and got us finished with all of our makeup applications just in time for the ceremony. She was extremely patient and did flawless makeup applications. She has a very diverse skill set and was able to match everyone perfectly. She also made sure that I (the Bride) was eating and staying hydrated all while doing my makeup, and she also had a lot of kind words to calm my nerves. I highly recommend Chryss for makeup services for any of your special moments. A little birdie also told me that she is adding nail services very soon.

    Never showed up

    Brides, please be cautious before booking with JC Beauty. I booked JC Beauty for my wedding day after she promised to provide hair and/or makeup services. She confirmed our agreement and accepted payment but then went completely silent and never showed up on my wedding day. Despite multiple calls and messages, I received no response. I was left in a stressful and heartbreaking situation, trying to find last-minute help on one of the most important days of my life. I have documentation of our communication and payment, and I have filed a formal complaint with the appropriate regulatory bodies so that this situation is recorded. I’m sharing my experience so that other brides can be fully informed and protect themselves. Please make sure any vendor you book communicates clearly, follows through, and upholds their commitments. Please note she texted me a "See you in the AM" message and then never reached out to me to reconcile. Instead, she immediately blocked me on social media.

    Find another vendor! Thief!

    My sister paid this vendor in full for hair & makeup for herself and a few bridesmaids and travel from Dallas to Houston. The contract listed that 2 girls Chryss & Joy would be there to do the bridal party. The contract required payment in full 48 hours prior to the event and Chryss messaged my sister to confirm she would be there the day before the event. On the day of the wedding she did not call and did not show. Multiple calls to the vendor were met with a voicemail message and no response. Attempts to reconcile with vendor for a refund for services that were paid and not rendered were ignored. We made multiple attempts to contact this vendor from several different phone numbers and they ignored each call sending them directly to voicemail.  It is unconscionable to do this to someone, especially on their wedding day!!!  Do NOT use this vendor! Protect yourselves!
