My name is Isabelle, and I grow chemical free, regenerative flowers and herbs on 3/4 of an acre in Hamden, CT. I truly love working on these blooms from start to finish, and I hope to get to share some of the beauty with you on your special day. Come visit us at our storefront, too! We are located at 979 State Street in New Haven, Connecticut.
We are queer owned, and we embrace every kind of person and love on the spectrum. We practice no-till farming and use exclusively natural and/or organic amendments on our soil and plants. We do not use floral foam, and we compost all plant material used for the wedding to feed our future flowers.

A Flower Party!
Isabelle is so incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and patient; a true artist with their flowers :') I emailed Isabelle to ask about DIY floral arrangements for our June 2025 wedding. We had such a fun time thinking up ways to engage my partner and I's family and friends, and Isabelle came up with the idea for a flower arranging party in their beautiful shop. The day before our wedding, we had our family try their hand at floral design. They had so many questions (ie, "Am I doing this right?" "What kind of flower is THIS?!"), and Isabelle greeted them all with understanding and care. AND there was handmade herbal tea and strong air conditioning on a 95-degree day. Such artistry and a dream to work with!
Isabelle is a dream to work with, and created the most stunning florals, understated and natural yet gorgeous and striking, which blended beautifully with the natural environment of our venue. The florals were more than decorations - they were works of art. The fact that the plants are chemical free and grown in a sustainable, regenerative environment was a huge selling point for us. The team is reliable, experienced, and so dedicated, and they went above and beyond to turn a vision into reality. Finally, communication with Isabelle was incredibly smooth and pleasant, and during a stressful process like wedding planning, having such a supportive, loving person was deeply helpful and appreciated. Cannot recommend Isabelle enough!!!

Natural Beauty!
Isabelle and their warm family of a team at Fairy Meadow Flowers are WONDERFUL to work with. On top of them growing all of the flowers on their farm, everyone is SO creative and will take your ideas and make them come true! Isabelle made some amazing floral collars for my pups that were a favorite. A wonderful experience!

My husband Kevin and I got married in Simsbury, CT on 10/15/22 and had the most perfect day imaginable. This was in large part thanks to Isabelle and Unison. When we first started planning our wedding, we sought out to find as many LGBTQ vendors as possible, so finding Fairy Meadow (based out of our beloved neighborhood, at the time) was a true dream come true. I can't begin to express how easy the whole process was, from start to finish. When we first spoke over the phone, we shared our budget, a bare bones vision for our florals (dahlias, dahlias, and more dahlias!!!) and Isabelle took it from there. What we were greeted with upon entering the tent on our big day, was truly picture perfect. THE COLORS. The florals that Isabelle grows in her own backyard are truly mind boggling. Our guests are STILL commenting on how beautiful they are--especially because we sent a sample off to have professionally pressed (through a recommendation utilized directly from Isabelle). If you are looking for a local team who is passionate about growing sustainably and prioritizes communication, collaboration, and remembers what this business is all about, truly look no further. We truly can't recommend Isabelle and Unison enough. It was a dream to work with them, and I wish we could do it over and over again :)
