Located in Shenandoah Valley, our pits are kindled with locally harvested oak and hickory. We smoke at 275 degrees and our unique, Vinegar-based sauces complement the Cue's smoky goodness. Our signature Pork BBQ is finely chopped bark and all, not pulled. Our Brisket is truly a Shaffer family original. This is Virginia Brisket (not texas).....we trim all the fat off and let the meat rest in a house rub for 3 days. Then we smoke, slice it thin, served with our Bold & Sassy Sauce. Our St Louis cut rib rubbed down with our House Recipe Big Julie's All-Purpose BBQ Rub our smoked Adobo Sausage is a Local Masterpiece. We offer much more

We are a family-based business and we strive to keep traditions and locally sourced products offered. We take a handheld approach and you can meet one of us within the shop everyday! All of us have a part in the business - even our House Recipe Big Julie's All-Purpose BBQ Rub is so popular our ribs sell out fast!     Wedding

    Shaffer's BBQ & Market was an excellent choice for our wedding catering. From the beginning, their communication was prompt and professional. The team at Shaffer's was incredibly helpful in assisting us with creating the perfect menu for our special day.
