This simple tenet is a hardy root which has diverse branches: our food is fresher, seasonal, and best-tasting; we have a dedicated staff whom we pay a living wage; we support other small local businesses; dollars you spend stay in our local economy. Our event displays marry upcycled & vintage elements with live botanical arrangements. We limit the extreme waste of event catering by composting and recycling at home & off-site. We seek to serve well: both our customers & their guests, our community & our planet.

Fantastic Food that Was Also Vegan
Having great food was my husband's number one priority for the wedding. We happen to be vegan and unfortunately if you filter by that here you can see that what many caterer's mean by "we offer vegan food" is "we will make a plate of spaghetti with nothing else for your one vegan guest" and that is the opposite of what we got with Seed Sprout and Spoon. They went above and beyond with our menu! They sent us their menu and we were able to work with them to alter dishes that fit our needs. They can do buffet or plated, we went with buffet because we only had a guest list of about 50 people. For cocktail hour we opted for a pretzel bar with four different dips. Our main meal was a nice hearty salad with fruit and nuts, a creamy polenta with bolognese made with Beyond meat, an absolutely delicious white (cashew cream) lasagna with kale, roasted asparagus, an eggplant/bell pepper caponata, and an assorted bread basket. For dessert we had a cake from another vendor but wanted additional dessert for people who aren't into cake and we went with some mini fruit tarts. Finally we also had our plates/glasses provided by them and they have a beautiful collection of mismatched tableware. Pretty much everyone went back for seconds and I don't think we had a single guest who we saw/spoke to over the next couple of days who didn't comment on how this was some of the best food they've ever had a wedding period. Not just good for vegan food but all around great!

Best Catering Around
The amount of times weddings guests came up to me saying this was the best catering they’ve ever had was amazing! Dani and her team were friendly and professional! Communication with Dani from pre booking to day of was so easy. Seed, Sprout, Spoons customer portal is easy to use as well. I would highly recommend to anyone! I will be dreaming about the food for a long time.

“Best wedding food we’ve ever had"
Seed Sprout Spoon did family style service for our wedding and the food and service were absolutely incredible. Our guests were soo impressed with the dinner and are still raving that it was the best food at a wedding they’d ever had. **Highly** recommend splurging on this caterer for your event.

The most delicious catering menu!
The food catered by SSS for our wedding was to die for!! They have a huge menu to choose from and their display style/aesthetic is beautiful. Everything tasted fresh and amazing and many of our guests commented that it was the best wedding food they’d ever had. The service was just as wonderful so all in all it was a pleasure having SSS cater our wedding!

Erin is so sweet, easy to work with and their food was amazing! I am a vegetarian and she made it so easy for our guests to enjoy both vegetarian and local meat options. We got so many compliments throughout the night of our wedding and even weeks after on how great our food was. A couple times throughout the night Erin came up to me asking what I wanted to drink, because I was busy trying to talk to all the guests! I didn’t expect it and really appreciated that! I also love how everything they get is made locally and they are big on minimum waste. I would cater from Seed Sprout Spoon 100% again!
