Meet Chef Sara Lee, the Executive Chef and Owner of Destin Cakes. A Marine Veteran and Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts graduate in 2015, she honed her skills under Michelin starred chef Bruno Davaillon and renowned cake artist Jenny Layne (as seen on Food Network and the Cooking Channel). With a mission to reflect the uniqueness of each client, Chef Sara crafts cakes with creative designs and innovative techniques. Top Notch Cake
Our cake from Destin Cakes was one of the best parts of our wedding! We got married a little over a month ago, and we still get compliments on how amazing it was! We had a chocolate covered strawberry inspired cake and a mocha cake, both were phenomenal! We will find any reason we can to get another cake from there when we’re in Florida!

Amazing!
We had the best experience with Sara at Destin Cakes. We did a destination wedding in Florida and she was amazing to work with. We were able to do our cake tasting from the Midwest where she sent us out six flavors. We then bought a second tasting box for my husband’s 30th birthday. All the flavors were amazing and we had the hardest time choosing a flavor for our wedding cake. All of our guests stopped us to compliment the cake. We couldn’t recommend her enough!

Unforgettable Retirement Cake!
Destin Cakes exceeded my expectations with a stunning cake for my husband's retirement from the United States Marine Corps, showcasing impeccable attention to detail. The seamless process of designing, ordering and delivery, the delectable two-layer cake was exceptional. Moist and flavorful, bottom layer Dulce de leches, and the top layer, limoncello, were a perfect combination. Thank you for supporting our military and all that you do.

Absolutely perfect!
Destin Cakes was an absolute dream to work with for our wedding! Sara, the owner, was super responsive, detailed, and made sure our cake was perfect for our event. You can tell she takes pride in her work - the cake was absolutely beautiful and so delicious! Sara starts with a zoom video call and actively listens to your ideas to help you create the perfect pastry for your event. You can also taste test 5 flavors in your own home, which was such a nice perk. The price point is perfect for whatever your needs are, and Sara is so sweet and quick to respond if you have any questions. She made setting up the cake on our big day a breeze. Destin Cakes truly does it all - I can't recommend them enough!
